I am really surprised about Bayan's character. At the beginning I thought he was just as ruthless as ET, but the past episodes showed that is actually honorable. He has also shown genuine care for TH.
I am just guessing, but maybe he will go against SN in the future not be because he wants to have absolute power, but maybe because he would need to choose whether to align himself with his niece (who might be empress after TN?) or SN. -

If Batolu's daughter is not a love interest for WY, then what's the point of bringing her back? Is she just always going to be a part of the 'filler' story in the drama?

I'm adding my thoughts on your discussion.
I don't think SN or WY let each other go. They both still have each other in their hearts and in their minds. However, fate has backed them into a corner, and in order to survive, they can only choose one: love or revenge. They can't have both.
In an ideal world, they will most definitely be together. But at the moment, they must face reality, and the reality is, love alone cannot keep them together. They have met so many times, only to be apart again. I guess, that's how their destinies are going to be. They will always meet, but something will always keep them apart.

What I don't understand is, how can ET agree to bring ED back just like that? Is it because he is full of confidence now that TN has a "son" that he doesn't think bringing ED back can influence anything? -

Party time <:-P Re: Wang Yo's wife She probably won't appear in any of the next episodes, that's why they didn't make any effort to get a more beautiful actress. But agree they should have gotten someone more attractive. I mean, WY is going to have a loveless marriage anyway, it would have been some consolation prize if he had a beautiful wife to ease the pain. But no, even that chance is taken away from him. =))

I guess it's perfectly understandable that TH will be reluctant to help SN knowing that DS and TN will go any lengths to get what they want. So now, they must all tread slowly and make sure that ET clan will go down.
