for anyone who wants to know what the fashion style Insung wore at SIA Awards 2014. it is called "Normcore" come from "normal" and "hardcore" is a unisex, unaffected, simple and easy fashion but sophisticated.
Like Jo In Sung And Jang Yoon Ju wore in the first pic I posted is called Normcore. Jo In Sung distinguished it by his recent favorite item, white sneaker.

Actually, the names that SIA Awards announced before the event would receive the awards definitely but SIA just announced grand prize of the awards at the event like previous years.

@Spring Andrew Mino was asked about being hit in the face by JIS (you all can watch it from 1night2days) Mino said he is able to come to this place (guest in Radio Star) because of JIS, JIS brought top high viewer ratings for 1night2days among all variety shows. Then Kim Gu Ra said he is a bit disappointed, 1night2days's JIS episodes lost the essence of the program.
Kim Gu Ra's style kkkk I'm used to it.

Van Gogh was a unique artist who is well known for his bold, vibrant color, dramatic brush strokes which expressed emotion drastically but if you look deeply, you will find a complicated thing in his works.

There is nothing special than before about that program, it was like when they always mentioned two celebs in comparison as before but I love hearing that in this show. Actually Korean media like to campare Insung and Kang Dong Won the most and in fact they know each other.

TBH, if he takes the role in this film noir..I'm ok with that...Welcome to Dongmakgol is both good in terms of acclaim and boxoffice in Korea...Park Kwang Hyun can turn smth which is not mainstream into successful boxoffice film...the only thing I concern about...if you are Insung's fans you will understand what I mean, he has been the director of "Kwon Bob" project lol

talking about his smoking, I don't mind tbh... most korean celebs smoke even female celebs smoke as well... I mean "most" not "all" and I don't think smoking is a good thing but it's not smth weird in Korea (I used to say this with @ hclover96 and I copied it lol) the only bad thing about his smoking is that it will affect his heath.

His Korean fans always ask him permission before taking a photo or signing a signature in HIS PRIVATE TIME but if it is not his private time you can take a picture of his as much as you want and THIS IS A RULE FOR ALL K-TOP ACTORS not only him, that's why he went to Germany for his vacation.
@"Spring Andrew" Yes, he couldn't reject Cha Tae Hyun and he appeard in 1night2days just because of Cha Tae Hyun, he couldn't find others at that time so Insung couldn't reject it...Insung's appearance in this show was is a sudden thing purely not a script at all.

There is one thing I want you all know about is that when he doesn't want any pictures, that means it is his private time...IT IS A RULE FOR HIM AND MOST TOP KOREAN ACTORS and his korean fans know about this well...his manager always goes with him whether his private time or not..

He reveals his thoughts of his desire to act after seeing Jo In Sung. “As an actor, Korea’s top star, sunbae and as a close brother, I was filled with gratitude (for his words). While I was still in the army I saw (the drama) ☆‘The Winter, the Wind Blows.’ When I saw In Sung hyung’s appearance, I felt happy. Seeing his acting ignited something inside me. I thought, I also wanted to do that.”
It is known that Im Joo Hwan, Jo In Sung, Song Joong Ki and Lee Gwang Soo cheer on each other by visiting the filming sets and also see each other off when one enlists in the army. Im Joo Hwan discloses how (each of) the star’s relationships are like. “ All four of us get along well. When I enlisted, Joong Ki also came. Joong Ki and Gwang Soo both become close on a variety (show). In Sung hyung, Joong Ki and me became like a family after the movie ‘Frozen Flower.’”
To Im Joo Hwan, it is a happy thing to be ‘promoting’ his close buddies. “Joong Ki participated in “A Deep Rooted Tree’ and ‘Nice Guy’ and I felt quite emotional when I watched it, I also called Writer Lee Kyung Hee (the writer of ‘Nice Guy’) up. I said to her that I’m really grateful and feel full of pride. Joong Ki was originally really great, but as a ‘brother’ seeing Joong Ki’s cool image and seeing his drama receive so much love, that’s why I felt so proud. @Roym "that film offered him before he entered the military" yes, I used to say this with @moniw18 the director is pretty close to Insung.
He is still considering the role in "Ice Blade"... the recent korean articles still mentioned both "Ice Blade" and "Sculpted Man" or "Carved Man" of Park Kwang Hyun.
If the role in KES new project really offered Hyun Bin but she also offered Insung and he was interested in this one, he would accept it...he is an A-lister who doesn't care if any roles offer him first or not...Noh Hee Kyung offered Won Bin the role in TWTWB at first but Ko Hyun Jung persuaded him to do the role because Oh Soo was an interesting character. Noh Hee Kyung created the character in IOTL for Insung though.
@xoxoforme Insung is so close to Ko Hyun Jung and respects her...seeing her as a good role model...he mentioned Ko Hyung Jung's name firstly when he received SBS award last year.
edit- BTW, Korean entertainment program said that there were rumors of their breakup early this year but just the journalists didn't unveil it.

It is well known that she always mentioned the names of actors she likes and wants to work with in her dramas ...she mentioned Insung in both Secret Garden and The Heirs...plus her next project is a melodrama not romcom...I hope I'm wrong.
Song Hye Kyo deserved her Daesang from TWTWB...her role in TWTWB is more difficult to act than all candidates in Daesang category, Insung, Lee Bo Young and Go Soo.
I like Insung's electrified , complicated acting style...the techniques he uses in his acting...and the way he interprets his characters in most of his works like his close senior Ko Hyun Jung.

Baeksang Arts Awards is the most prestigious for TV awards in South Korea but I just trust in APAN Star Awards the most these days, this award is based on acting skills mainly.
While Grand Bell Awards and Blue Dragon Film Awards are the most prestigious for Film Awards.
I'm sure you know even OSCAR not only based on acting skills mainly...you all can see from Gwyneth Paltrow.
Talking about his fashion in the dramas. Agree... I like both in TWTWB and IOIL but I prefer his style in the latter...I like mix&match style more.

I couldn't agree with you more, JIS is not a conventional dresser but his uniqueness is what makes him an icon and of course nobody can disagree that anything he wears looks good on him JIS was born with a model's body and innate model's grace.
