    [TRANSLATION] Modern Times - Epilogue (Concert Clip of ‘Modern Times’ DVD)
    -Finally, the concert has ended-
    IU: Bye~
    -Not sure when it all started-
    IU: As I was performing on the first day of the concert, until the point when the curtains went up, all I could think about was, ‘I won’t make it.’ In fact, my mind was blank. It was as if someone turned off a switch in my head. I was in a state of vacuum, my body… but it was really like magic.. the curtains went up,  and it was really amazing but the strength I got from the stage and the audience… It’s a kind of strength that’s unexplainable. Now the concert has ended, I really can’t believe it. 
    -A starting full of impossibilities--At that moment when her mind was in a blank--Almost like magic…--A moment that was unbelievable--The curtains to the splendid stage close…-
    IU: If I were to be honest, now that I’ve come this far, I’d like to say this… It was so tiring I thought I was going to die. It wasn’t just “I’m so tired I’m going to die”, but to the extent of “am I dead right now?” My body was really really worn out. It was really tiring and my schedule right now is tiring too. Moreover, after having activities continuously without any break for the past 5 years, I think I’m feeling the aftereffects now… So after my drama and concert activities this time, I’m determined to have a good break no matter what now. It was tiring for me stamina-wise, but after overcoming all that, somehow it feels much more satisfying… 
    -Not the end but the beginning--Now fantasy becomes reality-

    Initially, I came up with the idea (of the intro perf) before I sang ‘Between the Lips’ and ‘Obliviate’. We actually wanted it to be of a higher level. 
    -After the spring of the twenty year old…--Finally the girl becomes a lady-IU: I think I forgot about that for a moment… the rating of my concert (as in like PG-13, RA, etc.)… so it was a bit of a pity. Next time, I’ll go with a rating suitable for 14-year-olds and do a more classy concert. -Everyone has secrets--If you know what it is, you might faint--The shining girl who has secrets-

    -2013.11.15 Practice room-
    IU: I was troubled as to how to go about doing this. ‘Bad Day’ is a song that is quite large-scale. Since it’s my own song, I thought it would be good if I played the guitar along to it. I feel really comfortable playing the guitar while I sing as well, so I decided to play the guitar and…

    -IU moves to front stage with her session members-
    IU: It was really great. It was a pity that I could only do the small theatre concert for ‘Love of B’ and I really wanted to do a small theatre concert. I thought to myself, ‘next time I’ll really do a small theatre concert’, but before that happens, this is kind of like… a preview? The performance for ‘Love of B’ was prepared with such a mindset. 
    -2013.11.20 Practice room-
    -A performance to get closer to the audience-

    -An even more tiring day than ‘Bad Day’--Even with everything memorised in her heart--A stage that was more scary than exciting-
    IU: As I was preparing for this concert, this thought came to mind. ‘Will I be able to put on a satisfactory concert before I die?’ ‘Are concerts supposed to be like that?’ ‘Are they supposed to leave you with regrets?’ As I keep putting on concerts… somehow I always felt that I was lacking in some areas, so I wondered to myself, ‘Is it really alright to keep putting on concerts like that?’… Before I step onto all these stages, I wondered about these things, but when I actually stepped onto the stage, I don’t have such thoughts at all. I felt that it’s not about whether I’ll be satisfied or not with my performance, but this is just something I have got to do. That’s what I thought as I did this concert. So it seems I’ll just have to keep performing. It’s not about whether I’m satisfied or not, but something that I have to do in order to stay alive. While having fun… I think my future concerts will have a certain philosophy too. They’ll carry more weight and I think I’ll become a more confident singer with a higher self-esteem as well. Thank you everyone who joined me for this concert.

    @9jill9 Thank you! Finally, I'm done for tonight (it's 6am in the morning now. T__T). Will start working again at 9am. 2 hours for sleeping...zzzzZzz

    Thank you for all IU's goodies. I work so hard lately. Didn't update much news. Sorry about that. Will join you guys for KBS drama award. Really excited

    IU at Psy's concert : Wow this place is really filled up. I heard you guys are staying up through the night to watch this concert. That's beyond my imagination. Psy sunbaenim is amazing and you guys are amazing too. Wow I'm really happy to receive an invitation again as a concert guest. Firstly, merry christmas everyone! Just now, G-Dragon put on a great performance too. Why did Psy sunbaenim put me after him? I didn't expect everyone to be cheering so loudly, I'm so happy I'm about to cry. Thank you. Thank you so much. I'm in a really good mood, so I'll sing a short verse from a christmas carol for you guys, even though this is unplanned~ keke -sings 'Let it Snow'- That was short right? keke I'm in a good mood so I sang a bit of it for you. I'll sing a song I prepared and bid farewell to you guys. I'm a singer who doesnt use the protruding stage actually. But since there's one here, shall we take this stage..? I'll sing "Good Day" and take my leave~

    I wish PM's rating would be better just to support Uri JiEun. I hope she knows that it's not her fault and she has ability in acting. Please keep up acting career together with singing. I love you either ways.
