  1. why are people still going on about KT dying in the end? NOT ONE SINGLE EPISODE HAS ELUDED TO ANYONE BEING A MURDERER!!!!All of you fangirls need to get control of yourselves! I will say this for the last time.....THIS IS NOT THE GREAT GATSBY!!!KT is not the adult, white man that got his money through shady, criminal acts (most likely smuggling or drug dealing) like Gatsby did, nor is ES anything like the money hungry, vain, shallow, waif that was Daisy. Rachels interpretation is pretty flawed for many reasons, but her interpretation was built on loss, pain and anger at KT.  Way too many people are taking this mess too serious.

@atomickitty Welcome back JT is just soo....well I don't even know what to call him. Like a lump of coal, he is not very bright, and dumb as a stack of bricks! EH's stupidity increases with every episode. I mean come on the VP has told you that JT had that ring, and he has been out of the country so if he hadn't seen it before how could he know? STUPID GIRL!! So lucky I only have to put up with her for another month. I hope she doesn't end up with JT because their children would be MORONS X INFINITY. I don't want her with VP either because he is so charming, bright, smart, intelligent and handsome; while EH is a stupid boring, bland, unfashionable, unkempt country bumpkin LOL. And  at this point SJ can go ahead and married that viper in his nest. Everyone in that house is a Liar, won't tell the truth if it bit them in the asss.

said: I don't understand why anyone would ever compare this drama to the Great Gatsby. Has anyone hear read that tale?? 1. The girl he loves is actually a distant relative.2. The girl he loves is already married.3. The girl he loves runs over a person in his car.4. He is killed because someone thinks he is the hit and run driver.

Where in that is anything like the Heirs?? THe original work by F. Scott Fitzgerald is great, but these latest movies have sensationalized and changed major parts of the story. And KT looks nothing like the flamboyant yet eccentric white man that was Gatsby.

@krgeek I loved prosecutor Park Nogyeoung too. They should have let batshitcrazy guy get killed and Sueng hui marry him anyway. Another case of step siblings falling in love with one another but they were not raised with each other or even had a clue as to their connections. Unlike here where YJ and SJ have been raised in the same household as brother and sister each calling the same people mom, dad, and halmoni.

  6. @lindab12 There was no big romance at all here. IMO they just "Liked" one another, but that being said the writer has made it clear from the beginning that there was a strong connection and deep love between the two of them (We may have not seen it, but by the writing it happened lol) and the end game was going to be EH/SJ. But there was no great romance between EH and VP either. He liked her thats its. We all just love the VP because he is so charming and bold compared to EH and SJ both of whom are bland and boring. I would not now put VP with EH he deserves sooo much better. he needs someone who will not only love him, but play with him, fight him, tease him etc (*raises hand* me, me, me). SJ and EH would make a good pair...both boring, quiet, bland, loving and living in their own private world.
JT is a bit on the boring and stupid side too. Even after everyone keeps saying don't trust Sg he still tell SG everything! Even now VP has to tell JT not to divulge anything to SG...duh! So he can take on protecting MY from her drunkard father and live happily ever after.
@timsha  Has there been any word about Ins. Jo? We know he got out of jail so why hasn't he turned up in Seoul to tell VP that LK thought SG was behind everything. Did he fall off the planet on the way to Seoul? Did he get bushwhacked by someone? I'm going to grab Lassie and go look....maybe he fell down a well somewhere  :-))

  7. @lindab12 Absolutely no one can be worse than SY was in SMH! lol. You know we nicknamed named her Toilet Paper and Doormat for a reason. SY knew who her tormenter was and not only continued to let YR physically, mentally, and verbally abuse her but she also covered up for that abuse and defended YR. Here EH does not know that SG is evil and he has never done anything to harm her directly(nothing yet) so her trust in him is understandable. I think when she does find out we will see that strong character that we have seen glimpses of in the past. She will still be unfashionable, and BORING AS HELL!! The fact is if everyone around her would stop hiding the truth from her then her character might not be as boring and brainless as it is.
@monalisa  Mrs. Lee never adopted SG, she just means that she took him in as her son. She has said on several episodes when someone asked her how is he your son, "that is a long story and just happened that way"...or something to that effect. He was the one who saved her when she was in the river trying to kill herself and SJ and then he kept her with him afterwards and looked over her and SJ. So I think she "adopted" him and his family in her heart. After all he was a grown man so she couldn't have legally or officially adopted him  :-)
@krgeek NO WAY  :-)) :-)) Like Micheal Jackson sang....The Boy(girl)  Is Mine...The Dog Gone Boy Is Mine. Mine Mine   LOLOr like hat cartoon characters I grew up wih said, "I'm going to Love Him, and Squeeze Him, and Pet him, and Rub him, and Caress him and call him George". (Any one who has seen classic Looney tunes knows it was a ripoff of Lenny from the book "Of Mice and Men"). :-))  :-))
    edit:
@valsava My birthday is in April too, so don't get your hopes up of seeing him anytime soon ;-)

  8. @timsha  Before you posted your review earlier, I was about to comment about the post about SJ being "cowardly and wimpy". Boring...YES, super boring...HELL YESS! But he has never been a coward or a wimp in this drama. He even stood up against his own grandmother and said he would leave the home and marry EH regardless of the fact that her father killed his father. In fact he NEVER thought HM had killed his father....but now after reading your re-cap, I am sitting here dumbfounded, bewildered, and scratching my head over this latest turn of events. I can only think he did it to get closer to SG and find out the real truth to what is going on. I really do hope this is the case because I don't understand why the writer would make such a drastic change in his core character this late in the game.
If he is covering up for SG just because he doesn't want his "father" going to jail then to HELL WITH HIM, HIS FAMILY, AND THIS WRITER!! Let him find out the real truth and still marry YJ, let halmoni find out that her house is infested with SNAKES, LIARS, THIEVES, AND MURDERERS, and there is nothing she can do about it but drop dead. Let EH continue to be a brainless twit walking around all glum and melancholic. Let JT marry MY and move away from Incheon. And my sweet VP... he can come back to America and he can be my sweet little boy toy   ;-)     He definitely doesn't deserve to be saddled with such a dumb, brainless, moron like EH.

@bkrommo  Yeah I gotta agree.....too many of these new dramas are making the Korean culture look like they could care less about punishment and justice. I wonder if the writers and directors realize that they are portraying Korea as cavalier and lawless but at the same time wrapping it up in a so-called package of "Forgiveness". Forgiveness without redemption of the offender is a blatant slap in the face of Confucianism. I could be wrong but I do believe that Confucius Thought that a sinner should, repent and pay for their crimes, and THEN be forgiven. But these dramas lately show characters doing such evil acts and basically getting away scot free, receiving no punishment, barely saying sorry, never even asking for forgiveness, but getting fully exonerated and forgiven in the last few episodes. No matter what your views or what culture and society you live in, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth (IMHO)

  10. @valsava and others Happy Thanksgiving! It's almost 5:30 am, I'm all alone, but i am about to get my cooking on   :-))   Ham, mac n cheese, candied yams, Kale with salt pork, and homemade biscuits...YUMMMMMMM.
Anyway, SJ must have found out something about the car that makes him suspect SG. I too wonder if he will keep it to himself and what kind of pathetic excuse SG will come up with to explain it. Maybe some bs about how he really didn't see her and then he panicked and went back but the ambulance was already there. Or most likely he will say he loaned his car to Yang or Jaepil so they must be the culprits. Oh who cares I just want this story to pick up and the writer to surprise me by going against tradition and ending with VP. Although lately I have been thinking that EH is just TOOOOO STUPID for a man like him! So writer-nim if you are going to re-unite EH with SJ please feel free to pack VP up send him to me! That would be the BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!!  :-))
