That little bit of Oz fantasy was just to keep things lively here this does tend to be a quiet and slow thread, So sometimes we have to let our imaginations run free lol.
Anyway I think Incheon Tufu must be on the West side of Incheon (no not West Side Story) more like YJ is green with envy so we will call her the Wicked Witch of the West! LOL Yes and she is out to get EH(Dorothy) and all her cohorts.hahaha When she realizes the reason she is a witch is because her father is far from being an Angel will be the best episode of this drama! LOL :-)) -
Did YD follow her mom back to the house, he asked if she was ES mom??? UUGGGH it keeps freezing

Ok how about this...LK will need a partial brain transplant, and it can only be done with a blood relative. Since EH is her daughter and she doesn't use her brain much she decides to donate a piece. LK wakes up with "partial" amnesia and can only remember half the things SG confessed to. She also is now prone to bouts of melancholy and a strange urge to mope about Incheon looking like someone kicked her and "her little dog too". Every time she lays down at night she has very, VERY inappropriate dreams of SJ. LOL :-)) :-))

So with just over 45 episodes left...will LK wake up with amnesia???? Completely forgetting that SG is the one responsible for HM death and the attack on her. Will VP return and avenge LK? Will EH visit Oz and be given a brain? Will JT go to Oz with EH and be granted Courage so he can man up? Will someone throw water on the venomous snake YJ? AH so many questions so few answers. LOLOL :-))

@atomickitty I so agree, I too hate when they die in the end. It's like they're being given a free pass for all the evil things that they did while living. Like on SMH...YR should have been either institutionalized because she was truly BSC x Infinity! Or she should have died in prison, but not until she had spent several years there. She did not repent, apologize sincerely, make amends, or even ask for forgiveness...the stupid writer just made her a frickin SAINT and everyone forgave her without any acts of contrition on her part.

Really don't know what the big whoop is about for YD. I do not find him that attractive and I am totally turned off by those over accentuated eye brow ridges...too caveman for me. And frankly he looks TOO old to be an 18 yr old. I know KT is 26/27 in real life, but he def. can pull off playing an 18 yr old teenager. Anyway Rachel and her snotty, better than thou attitude would be a perfect match for YD.

@imsha and @atomickitty Halmoni has indeed turned over everything to SG, and SG told Gilyre that he did it so that when she does find out she can't throw them out into the streets. To me this says SG believes that sooner or later halmoni WILL find out which leads me to the next question...If you think she is going to find out and you now own everything in your name why do all this other evil things and add to your crimes? There really isn't any need for it.
IMO I think we may have a Samsaengi ending and SG will die at the end.That will be the only way halmoni will ever get back the money, land, etc that she willingly gave to him. She wasn't forced, coerced, tricked, or scammed out of them. She handed them over(even though he was misleading her regarding the purpose for it), so the only way to get them back would be after his death and Gilyre would have the decency to return them. Or they could give us a SMH ending and make him a SAINT in the last 2 episodes and he returns everything then drops dead LOL. -
I told you that LK had powerful people behind her. Even KJ said she was scary and had people behind her but he didn't know who they were. So I'm glad she called in some favors. Also glad she didn't really believe SG's new tale about that night. Still I'm waiting for that BSC YJ to find out. EH still a major IDIOT!, and JT although he is supposed to be a tough guy is stupid too.

@atomickitty I love that line, because way too many rich girls in kdramas are going around slapping the poor girl. Would love to see one of them use that line AND fight back the next time they are slapped.

@timsha I SOOO agree with you EH and SJ were just two boring people that liked each other. There was NEVER some great love story between them. In fact I have never seen such a lackluster couple in kdrama before. All EH ever does is mope around Incheon with her head bowed, looking depressed...who wants to root for a person like that. And to top it off she is STUPID beyond belief!
Regarding Samsaengi I really didn't mind that drama...the ending sucked because everyone was forgiven and I hate that. But SS herself was actually a pretty strong character throughout the series. I also liked that she ended up with DW, because he was her first love, she only chose the 2nd guy because DW had got mad at her and wouldn't listen to her when she went to tell him that she had choose him so she convinced herself she loved the consolation prize who was a complete WIMP!
Don't get me started on Love MY Love...ugh..200 episodes and it ended like that! SG ends up with the mentally unstable, batshitcrazy, stalker and his just as crazy, mentally ill mother! W T F ?!?!? 200 ep and the ending was flushed down the toilet at about 180. I was literally screaming at my screen(the first signs of MY mental breakdown beginning and Sincerity Moves Heaven finished me off LOL) So I have no big hopes and expectations for TV novels anymore lol -
@timsha I think we posted at about the same time lol. Also I think SG originally was trying to get more powerful because Kang Jaepil told him LK was very a very powerful woman, but she had powerful people behind her that he didn't know about. So I think SG thought he had to powerful to fight against her. But this is what makes me laugh... Incheon is basically a pissant town compared to Seoul. No matter how powerful he gets in Incheon it won't measure up to a powerful person in Seoul. But now he thinks he is some big shot! I say if you were some big shot you wouldn't be running all around scared stiff trying to lay your crimes on other people.

@valsava TV Novels are always about first love (exception Love My Love female lead marries batshitcrazy 2nd male lead). Anyway EH has made it clear in several episodes that she still loves SJ and SJ ONLY moved on when he realized that EH only said the things she said to him to get him to move on. He didn't want to, he still loved her, but he knew he was hurting her so he let go. But he has never stopped loving her that's why they WILL be married by the end of the drama.
Don't get me wrong I much prefer the VP but this story was never about him and EH, it's always been about her and SJ, the murder and how SG hid his crime. I think everyone fell in love with VP (me included) because he was such a dynamic character in a rather boring drama...he was bit of fresh air to everyone and we were all sad to see him leave. But again, VP was NEVER a central character to the main story. I'll be very glad if he does make another appearance before the drama ends, but don't hold your breath that EH will end up with him. -

I think they will spend the next 35 episodes showing just how evil SG can become, then 10 episodes wrapping up the other storylines before using the last 2 o3 for EH/SJ wedding and time jump. -
@valsava agree SG is definitely accountable for HM death as well. If he hadn't been such a coward and confessed when he heard that someone innocent had been arrested for his crime (and his best friend at that) then HM would still be alive. I don't understand why they needed an extra 30 episodes though. If they are starting to reveal the the crime then they should just do it and not drag this on for another 50 episodes. They could have wrapped the whole thing up by ep. 120, or 130 at the most, but 150 it kind of just dragging things out.

SG may have gotten rid of the body. He is confident that LK will never find KYP. Either that or KYP woke up later and went off to lick his wounds and hide for a few episodes. But I do think SG hid or buried the body. He doesn't want the body found because he knows that would bring even more questions and fingers pointed squarely at him.

Well FINALLY someone has connected the dots. I knew LK would be the one to dig into SG, glad she didn't keep brushing it off like everyone else. EH as brainless as ever.I'm really starting to dislike EH for the pure fact that no one can be that Brainless!! Frankly MG is more interesting than EH right now lol. She needs a good slap or something to wake hell up. What I don't understand is that EH originally wanted to go into fashion, but she is SO NOT fashionable. Hell she doesn't even know how to use a comb and brush most days. Am I ranting? Oh well lol. I'm looking forward to next week since someone other than Gilyre now knows some of the truth.
@timsha So is Kim Yongpal really dead? Did the police find his body? Why was Ins. Jo questioning them? -
@valsava "SJ in on it?" SJ would never do that, especially if he knew the truth of the situation (maybe you meant SG). Yes SG did burn all the accounting books, but it had nothing to do with EH or the time she worked there. He not only started the slush fund but he stole money to pay Jaepil, and the other gangster for their work for him so that it why he burned the books. He made a false set though because I have seen SJ looking over them, and he questioned SG about something in them. The whole purpose of getting rid of the books is so that no one can trace the evil deeds and money losses to him...he has no intention what so ever of turning the factory over to SJ.

@timsha thx for update/re-cap. I'm just glad that other people are now suspicious of SG, and that YJ knows there is a witness and that EH father may be innocent. That BSC, lying snake YJ will go into overdrive to keep SJ from learning that little tidbit. And you know she will try to get halmoni to help her move up the wedding.

So in ep.97 SG does indeed tell LK that HM confessed to killing Doeksu, She believed him at first but the next day she showed him the burnt letter. I don't know if she was asking if he (HM) had wrote it or if someone else had. But she had spoken with Inspector Jo and he told her there was a witness and even told her the witness name.
Why does no one ever question what SG says? They act like he's a Saint or something...when actually he is a DEVIL. I can't wait for him and his daughter to get what's coming to them. And I swear if the two of them are forgiven I AM NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER watching another tv novel!!! -
@valsava I am currently also watching The Heirs, The Wang Family, Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010). Just finished watching Dream HIgh and Master of Study. I am thinking about watching Boys Over Flowers, Ugly Alert, Secret and Suspicious Housekeeper.

Just finished watching and O M G that ending...both were crying..and me too!
