The photos look so cute :please:

just finished watching the new ep. All what miran said has a point, just can't ignore all the fact she pointed out. hope things will work out for them soon.

As for Yeong Ok aaaarrrgh my imagination has shattered :isannoyed: guess to wait again for won bins comeback...

I dont know, but i got this feeling that that it will be played by another actress, perhaps the one with special needs. I dont know how to explain this, but sorry for any mistakes or discomfort in advance. As i recall, South Korea rarely cast actors/actresses with special needs, for comparison Hollywood has been casting actors with down syndrome in many movies to fit some roles for good understanding in telling the stories.

So perhaps this young ok's twin sister gonna be played by another actress who can portray the role. Otherwise, its all good to me anyway.

why young ok can not get into any serious relationship, as many of u all have said, it was probably the responsibilities to her sister... is young ok's partner can accept her sister also and share the burden for the rest of their lives???!? The idea of marriage is probably out of the window to her, cos probably she is self conscious about what will her partners reaction be knowing she has to take care of her sister. So she needs the one who can commit to her.

    :idk:

and did Huija hanyeo also share the same fate as young ok?? Cos she said her grandchild also like that, thats why she understands her situation??? Hmmm lets just watch next ep :doggie:

  3. Just finishing all new episodes!! Wooohooo!! So my prediction was right?!??! :omg: Young ok has a twin!!! Now it's about time who the twin is, is han ji min play the twin role too or theres gonna be another actor since there is a fraternal twin also. We'll have to wait for it. :approves:

as for dong seok i'll have to wait for the backstory of him and his mother. And pretty sure its gonna be an emotional one after the fathers stories :crymeme: i can not wait

PS. I wonder if won bin was the one to play the twin of young ok's hohoho since her twin has some kind of shortcoming that we still have to figure it out! It will be great to come back for this kind of role hohohoho :hwaiting2: just my another imagination again! No need to worry!:doggie:

  4. It is an omnibus drama, so we have to be extra patient to watch every stories of all the characters. :glasses:

Lee byung hun always serve us great acting skills, love to see a diff side of him in this drama. It's just a shame some viewers cloud their judgement because of his scandal in the past. However i understand their choices. Really hope viewers could see the big picture/ whole messages they want to deliver. *finger crossed*

Same goes for the teen stories, theyve already made a quick judgement whether the story was romanticized just by seeing one episode only??!??  Gotta see next episodes!

And i just realized, watching lee young ok- park jung jun story feels like i rewatch 500 days of summer when the boy fell madly in love with the girl.  And it ended not okay, i gotta see more! :notsureifserious:

  5. I love this show :approves: I've been watching almost all of no hee kyung's art pieces and been waiting for this one. the most anticipated, not just because of the cast, but what "our blues" meaning she's going to tell us. i like how she always carry many issues in life to a drama, from common social issues to a heavy one, and also let's not forget how she reminded us  about mental health issues that exist in our society.

so far, from these 4 episodes, she gave us a glimpse what stories she wants to tell us. and I love it. she reminded us how adulthood can be so tiring, or boring, or pointless for some, it's the opposite of what we have in our youth, which full of excitement despite the tough situation we're in. So in love with how she brought us Hansu's struggle in life and Eunhee's down the memory lane with her first love.

Though they've been introduced from the early episodes, I was having a doubt what kind of issue that no hee kyung want to tell us for Jung joon and Young ok. Yes i already read all the synopsis of each characters in this drama, but i have no clue for some.

But, as I watch in the last ep, early in the ep, now we know that Seon ah was actually having a depression (good job on how she pictures us this one), and in the middle the young couple was having their "daunting moment" in youth life. As for the main charactes in the ep, I'm still figuring out what the issue is no hee kyung want to tell us.

After I rewatch some clips, and now i'm interested to Young ok's character development here. you know as some of you already mention that no hee kyung always give us the core of every characters in their dialog. just like Hansu and Eun hee, Young ok probably the same. here's a hint.

    Screen-Shot-2022-04-19-at-5-12-52-AM.png

Why does she lie so much (to the villagers, to captain bae, and probably to Jung joon)? Is this her habitual behavior? what's the benefit? She's been moving a lot from city to city, and from her character desc she really is has no parent, i mean they died from her early age, and she doesn't want to be in close relationship with anyone in the village.

Not long ago, i've just finished watching a movie about a pathological liar, and Young ok's character remind me of the character in the movie. So what i want to say is, Young ok's character is quite similar to a pathological liar. Here's the definition of pathological lying.

    Screen-Shot-2022-04-19-at-5-28-34-AM.png

Well i'm just guessing,:idk: But if No hee kyung want to highlight this issue too, i'm intrigued to see how the story goes? :popcornjackson:

[OSEN = Kim Bo-ra, Reporter Yeon Hwi-seon] Actress Han Ji-min has been cast as the main character in the drama 'Yonder' directed by Lee Jun-ik for the first time.

As a result of OSEN coverage on the 26th, it was confirmed that Han Ji-min decided to appear in the new drama 'Yonder'.

The drama 'Yonder' is set in a large city in Korea where the ubiquitous environment of the 2040s unfolded. The main character, the man, lives in pain because he cannot forget his wife, who died of cancer. After receiving an email, he chooses Yonder Line, where he can live with her again while throwing away his body.

Yonder refers to a world where one can live forever without death, and through this, the work attempts to ask questions about the meaning of eternal life and death, memory and oblivion, happiness and unhappiness.

Han Ji-min was offered the role of his wife, who passed away early, and positively reviewed the role. Previously, actress Shin Ha-kyun was offered the role of her husband.

Based on the story of the novel 'Goodbye Yonder', director Lee Jun-ik plans to recreate it with the drama 'Yonder'. The film production company, Dudungi, was in charge of production.

  10. A tarot master telling his story about meeting han ji min, and how he refused to give her his number (han ji min asked his number for another tarot counseling). Now he regret it, and told that he was so down for about 6 months after rejecting her arrogantly :joy:

as for the news of new projects, i am a bit relieved that she's partner up to someone new, haha, and kim woo bin actually pretty good at acting, like his acting chop in Master. yes it would be better to have her partner up with other veteran actors, but for this moment, i can't be too demanding since not so many movie/drama projects are being produced cos of the current situation. just hope she can still manage to keep up her career, the competition got real high due to limited movement/productions.

KOFIC Launches Korean Actors 200 Campaign

Selection and international promotion of 200 actors that best represent Korean cinema

    cMzQSncdaqmHNzoZacIN.jpg
The Korean Film Council (KOFIC, presided by KIM Young-jin) is stepping forward to promote Korean actors on the global stage. This new campaign, which will be run under the name of Korean Actors 200, is a methodical project that will consist in selecting the 200 actors (100 men and 100 women) that best represent the present and future of Korean film and introducing them to film people overseas.
The Korean Actors 200 campaign, itself a part of a larger archiving plan revolving around Korean performers, will showcase actors selected while taking into consideration their box office power over the last decade, awards earned in festivals in Korea and abroad, their level of contribution to independent cinema, and their participation in international projects. The resulting 200-strong list will be made public in March of this year through a dedicated website. This website will contain detailed bios for each actor accompanied by portraits highlighting the areas where they excel and showreels.

“This content will not only be accessible online”, KOFIC explains. “We plan on providing the same content in a brochure that we will send to people in charge of the world’s most prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, and Venice, international VOD service providers like Netflix, international talent agencies, and leading media outlets like Time and the New York Times.” KOFIC adds, “We are also producing showreels that will let you have a quick look at each actor’s filmography, and we will provide high-quality portfolios to film professionals from around the world and officials in charge of global entertainment and media companies. We plan to do all that through a platform dedicated to making Korean actors better known to foreign audiences”.

Photoshoots for this international promotion campaign will be handled by KIM Jung-man and AHN Sung-jin, who count among the most renowned Korean photographers. KIM, who won the Young Photographer Award from the Rencontres d’Arles photography festival in France in 1977 and produced a large variety of photo series over a career spanning four decades, is the most well-known photographer in Korea. AHN is Korea’s best-known celebrity photographer who has worked with many stars over the last 30 years since his debut in an advertisement in 1992. Both will throw their heart and soul into creating the photos that will be featured in the brochure, which will come out later this year under the title “The Actor is Present”. The title is intended as a proclamation that anyone in search of actors who can move the whole world need look no further. Work on the book and the showreels is being undertaken by film media company The Screen.

“We expect that this campaign will increase the level of recognition the diverse actors we have in Korea are enjoying abroad and be of great help to those among them who want to make it abroad”, KOFIC concluded. KOFIC has recently launched other campaigns such as Young Korean Cinema, which showcases young people working in Korean film, and KOFIC Supports, which presents Korean film companies looking for overseas business opportunities.

The actors who make up the final list include stars who are already active on the world stage as well as actors who have built a solid reputation in the Korean film industry but have yet to enjoy wider recognition.

  12. I found this on instagram, an arabian couple review one spring night. How the drama relatable to their lives, especially the two main characters. It was enjoyable to hear them and got to learn their point of view (their culture) regarding the story of this slice of life drama. They also highly praised han ji min's acting (you can hear it/ jump over to the last 5 minute when they're praising the whole production).

    https://www.instagram.com/tv/CJpW48dhMh5/?igshid=1y1wwl3hznsxl

Also i wonder how's Han ji min's opinion about the late baby Jung In Case. Cos' when i read the news it was really broke my heart to pieces, how in the world people dare to hurt such a young and innocent baby. Yes i know this kind of case happens almost everyday in anywhere int the world. But still everytime a news of a baby or kid being abused came out, i always feel sorry that she/he couldn't get any help from their surrrounding.

I'm sorry cos this case remind me of tragic death of Gabriel Fernandez also the movie han ji min was in Miss Baek. Cos it took a whole village to raise a kid. Hope there are less irresponsible or abusive parents or more caring/daring public officials/people exists in this world. Let's hope for the better.

Han: Hello, I'm Ji-min, who played the role of Josée in the movie Josée. nice to meet you
Nam: Hello, I’m Joo-hyuk, who played the role of Yeong-seok in the movie Josée. nice to meet you.

0:21 in the movie <Josée>, Joo-hyuk and Ji-min met again. This is a speculative interview to find out how close the two actors are. Answer by guessing the other person's answer to the question.

Nam: Shall we slate? One, two, three

0:28 Q. What did you do before coming to the studio today?
Han: Um... Joo Hyuk got into the car and watched YouTube or Netflix while listening to music.
    Nam: DDANG! (nope)
    Han: What did you do?
    Nam: Wash..
Han: That's so natural, pass! Nam: (laugh)

Han: Oh so, you didn't watch YouTube on your phone?
Nam: Oh, I didn't do anything with my phone
    Han: ah.. I am wrong!
    Nam: (laugh)

    Han : how about me?
Nam: You brush your teeth, wash, get into the car, and you're on the spot! Subtitle: Jimin's daily diary written by Joo Hyuk
Han: What did I do after brushing my teeth, washing, and getting in the car? (Hint)
Nam: (Hinted) Listening to the radio? Han: (nope) I have a book to read Nam: (Follow) Read the book to read! Han: (laugh)

1:08 Q. You tend to get close to the other actor quickly?
Han: He is being shy of strangers. But he tends to try to get close to the other person.
Nam: That's the answer! I tend to try very hard to get close to the other person, and at first I am very shy with strangers.
    Han: How about me?
Nam: Noona is also shy with strangers at first. Noona is a person who keeps the line between people.
Han: Many people don't know well, but at first I tend to be shy with strangers. As Joo Hyuk said, The people I'm really close to seem to be limited.

1:36 Q. movie <Josée>, What was your favorite place to shoot?
Han: The most memorable place for him is the amusement park, and the most enjoyable place is Scotland! Nam: Um...
Han: (Sorry) Am I wrong? Isn't the amusement park the right answer? Nam: Yes, the amusement park is correct. But the place I enjoyed most was Mokpo rather than Scotland. (These two went on a gourmet tour and mountaineering at the time of the Mokpo filming) ate a lot of delicious things there..
Together: Oh right, we have a lot of memories in Mokpo
    Han: and me?
Nam: A memorable filming location for her is an amusement park (see her notice)
    Han: (Poker face)
Nam: Her most memorable filming location we've been with is Scotland Han: Oh~ That's the answer. I walk a lot while feeling the freedom I didn't feel in Korea, (Nam: yes) We go around freely like traveling, so I remember a lot. and For Josée, Josée's house(Mokpo) is a valuable space and is very memorable.

2:23 Q. What is the reaction to NG? Han: (Imitating Joo Hyuk's laughter) Ho Ho Ho Ho... Do you know how you laugh?
Nam: Yeah.. I laugh that way when I'm most embarrassed. To the embarrassment of making NG. Her words are correct. I'm always sorry for NG.
Han: And when He can't concentrate, hoo~ (follow Joo Hyuk's habit) (Laugh) 2:40
Nam: That's right, that's the answer Han: (How about me?)
Nam: When she pays NG, she says, "Sorry, I'll take it again."
Han: Oh, That's the answer (laugh)

2:49 Q. What foods are you eating when you are tired of shooting? spicy food? or Sweet food?
Han: Joo hyuk eats sweet food. Jelly, caramel
Nam: Yes i like sweet things like that. Sugar should be charged.
    Han: Sweet things hahahaha
    Nam: Why? Right
    Han: Sweet things
    Nam: Yep
Han: (She's talking about the name of Joo Hyuk's favorite Korean snack) He eats tremendously.
Nam: Yes, I eat a lot.
Han: And he can't eat spicy.
    Nam: Right
Nam: She takes the snacks I eat and eats it. We charge the sugar together. I recharge her sugar.
Han: Actually, I like bagged sweets. But next to Joo Hyuk's seat, sweets are always piled up like a small supermarket. So I was secretly eating it and Sometimes I was caught and scolded.
Nam: She couldn't say it secretly... Han: (Shame) Actually, I ate it all (laugh)
Nam: (laugh) Yes, she ate it all.

3:36 Q. What is the farthest place you want to go?
Han: Joo-hyuk likes the inside of the blanket the most.
    Nam: (laughs)
Han: Right? You don't want to go far Nam: That's right, what.. These days, you can even lie down and browse far away on the TV. The farthest place Jimin wants to go is...
Han: I'll give you a hint. Seeing the sky Nam: ah!! Where the aurora falls
    Han: Hahahaha the aurora fell
Nam: The place she wants to go to is the northern lights.. Arctic region
Han: That's right, going to see the aurora is one of my bucket lists.
Nam: You have to wear warm clothes to see the aurora. If you wear it warmly like you wear it in Korea, it's really bad because it's cold. (Concerning Jimin) It's really... (cold) (slate)

Nam: Yes, we really enjoyed shooting our magazine Marie Claire, so please look forward to it. Han: Yes, our movie Josée will be released on December 10th (Korea) I hope many of you have a warm winter with our movie. Nam: Thank you!

Thank you a lot!!! :heart3: for sum it up and the clean version!!! Hahahahaa

Maybe she just woke up or maybe she is not expecting so many media as she is dressing super casual.

yup probably that's. I love the casual han ji min, yes she is pretty when she got dolled up, but natural han ji min is the best. well it's my personal preference though.
