  1. I LOVED the ending. This is one of the dramas that will stay with me for a long time. Not only because I admire LJKs acting.
I know some are not satisfy with the story but as I watched the final episode, I realized that the whole story was about DHS finding his true self. He’s childhood got robbed  by his father. His teenage years got robbed by the town foreman and his adulthood got robbed by BHS and his parents. In away his whole identity was stolen. Throughout the show he repeats that he “needs Cha Jiwon” .  After his s sister  she’s his anchor.  However  I’m glad that the turning-point was once he saw his daughter at the end. Anything else could be an act but not the love between a parent and a child.
Moojin looking after DHS as he should have done years ago was also a nice touch. I could write so much positive things about this project. The writer made use of every scene I hand thought to be unnecessary.  From Cha Jiwon liking the rain to zooming in on their wedding bands…. And the egg tarts… all of it had a purpose and was significant to the story. Not many productions have this kind of details that carry on the main character until the end.

I am beginning to think that maybe, just maybe, that the dad is in innocent too! What a mind game!!!!

I don’t think the father is innocent given the scene at the school where he meets Baek Hee-Sung for the first time .

@Nadnad2112 I think the call was made after Do Min-Seok death but at the same bar. remember the police never solved the case so I assume that the ajumma wanted to go and  give the police information.

Come to think of it, Egg Tart might actually be a foil or in BHS words "an unpredictable variable" in BHS plans. She is a math genius like BHS that means she is very very smart. She is also very good at manipulation like DHS, CJW and BHS. Just study her interactions with Go Mi Ja from their very first interaction at the pharmacy. BHS uses his vulnerable looks and childlike voice as a teen and even now to manipulate his mother and deceive others into doing his bidding. Eun Ha also used her cuteness and sharp tongue to win grandma over. The time she went to the Baek's house along with grandma. She probably heard and saw a lot including the things that were said when they were arguing about BHS while he was still in a coma. I remember grandpa said something like " turns out the six year old was snooping around. Make sure she doesnt say anything." I think she might play a key role in cracking the serial killer case wide open.

It also gives me a deja vu about a similar situation in drama "two weeks".The villain tried to kidnap LJK daughter at the hospital. The daughter deduced from a conversation they had earlier that the ahjussi was a bad one and she shouldnt follow him. I can see Eun Ha remembering the mantra DHS taught her (1)not to follow strangers, (2)adults dont ask help from children (3) mummy, daddy and grandma would not send anyone to collect her'.If BHS tried to kidnap her. She will outsmart him. She is his younger version just not a psycho.

Now that you mention it the fact that DHS tolled EH never to go with strangers is a red hearing. That girl has two smart parents. it wont be easy to kidnap her.  And Gong Mi-Ja is found get  that girl. in the end i think she won't let a child hurt.

I just Watched  ep 13 again and DHS cut off the CTV.. he doesn’t erase it....meaning he got a plan.

  4. I am soo waiting for the next episode. These two were awesome as the writer really has taken viewers on the most roller-coaster  journey I’ve ever seen (aside from Time Between Dog and Wolf). You can’t predict what happens next and that makes it interesting!!

That said I really believe the kidnapping is staged. Ji-won trusts him and he knows that. By now Ji-won would be stupid to believe her husband is capable to kill anyone. HS knows that the killer has threatened Ji-won and their daughter. He’s sister is safe with Moo-jin. If he go to jail  Ji-won and their daughter will be in danger.

  5. I’m in a hurry so I can’t write everything I would like to. And many have said what I want to. But I will say this, it’s unfair to say that one has to switch off brain cells to watch the show. I mean every show has  flaws. But this one is on of the best I’ve seen. It’s not taky and every actor is doing an amazing job IMO.

I love that DHS isn’t all dark.  He has got shades of gray and layers that even he himself doesn’t understand.

We got 5 episodes left. Wait until we have seen them and then call the show stupid!

Our single episode thia week, is unbelievable! Did DHS now can feel emotion? So, did they diagnosed him wrong or over time his changed? Wonder that. I'm off to watch the RAW now after uolls live recap (TQ!) and quickly go to sleep. Good nite!

I believe he was misdiagnosed. When something is said to you over and over in the end you start to believe it. It could also be that he has autism. think about it... DHS can focus on thing like autistic people usually do. almost like obsession.

@sas79. I agree with u.There is reason the writer must show up why Kim Mo Jin tape recorder have been founded by Detective Choi,

Do Hyun Su is next target to be eliminated by accomplice,If he work only with Kim Mo Jin and Do Hae Su is too dangerous for Do Hyun Su. after detective Choi find out DHS=Baek Hee Sung the team of detective must be find evidence to prove he is innocence by raiding human trafficking syndicate.

if Doo Hae So speak the truth to CJW and the team this problem can be solve. This problem like bomb because both Do Hyun Su and Do have So still keep silent about village foreman murder. Why he must run away if he want to prove he is innocence.DHS have an alibi that 11Mei 2002 he with his father until 03:10 when Jung Min Soek reported missing by Park Kyung Choon.

I only hope in Kim Mo Jim cassette recorder there is video who recorderded that the murder is someone else.

and one hope is to find the corpse of Jung Min Soek.

DHS is protecting his sisster by keeping shut! If that's not love I don't know what is!

Talking about Eun Ha, its gonna hurt to see her separated from her dad even if its only temporary in the next episode

She learnt very well from her daddy on how to manipulate people with her cute face and politeness:D

He went to an IT technician, watch towards the end of episode 10. The IT guy was able to retrieve the data. It was implied too in the beginning part of episode 10 that detective choi was snooping around. The team leader asked him about where he went(they mentioned a korean location), CJW followed up with a question on what he was doing,  he couldnt answer properly.

Tank you! I must have missed it.. this drama has so many keymoments it's hard to keep up with everything.

Article Translation (Thanks to Lydia Liem, Twitter)

The rating of Korean Drama Flower of Evil continues to increase significantly. The public assumed this because Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won's acting are captivating and dive into their roles well.

Moreover both of them had played in the same project, Criminal Minds, so their chemistry is getting stronger in this project. This was also expressed by Lee Joon GI through an exclusive interview with Insertlive.

"This is my 2nd project with Moon Chae Won.But because the characters are very different this is a new experience for us because in this drama we are paired as husband and wife," he said. In this drama, a lot of conversations needed to be done so that we can play it naturally. But, because we already know each other's strengths and weaknesses, many things are resolved properly," he continued.

He admits acting as Moon Chae Won's husband who has a dark secret made him a little stressful. "To be honest, I felt a little stressed because this is my first experience acting as a married couple for 14 years. I think I'm too young to play that role," he said. Lee Joon Gi also admitted that he felt a little dizzy when he had to act as a father figure in the drama. He felt that the director has made things easier and Flower of Evil has a good story. The stress also subsided slowly after he was helped by Moon Chae Won who played his wife in the drama.

" I'm grateful I was paired with Moon Chae Won. I am grateful that Moon Chae Won makes me a little relieved. I've worked with her before so in this drama.I don't have too much problems. So I can try to portray my role as Baek Hee Sung well," he said.

"I have tried my best to put myself in Hee Sung's shoes to understand the complicated emotions he has and convey them naturally to the audience" said Lee Joon Gi.

For Insertizen who are curious about how Lee Joon Gi 's acting as Baek Hee Sung, as well as how Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won's chemistry is working out in the drama, you can watch the drama Flower of Evil every Thursday and Friday at 8:45pm on the tvN channel through Transvision.

  8. Hello everyone!
I haven’t written anything due to lack of time. And I really haven’t read all to comment so I apologies if I’m repeating things others has said.

NOW! What an awesome drama this is. I really thought DHS was a bad guy. Boy was I wrong and I’m glad for it.
This story is so complex and well written that it blows my mind. DHS isn’t a bad guy. He’s just a misunderstood person whom I believe have an misdiagnosed disability. He believes he can’t feel because he  has suppressed all feelings since his mothers disappearance. Hence the pains he his getting….I think that’s due to the emotions he has kept pushing aside, believing he can’t feel. The society has made him believe he’s abnormal. He has been  mold to be abnormal.

But with his wife and child he has had some sort of selftherapy.  … the therapy he didn’t get as a child.

I love how they have showed how the society let these children down. I love that CJW called the stupid women who diagnosed him. And I love how they sister his shown dealing with things very different from DHS. It’s almost like she his opposite and can’t control her emotions due to the same pain.

Love the script, the plot and the acting.

Ps! I believe the   Baek Hee Sung or his dad (or both)  are involved. My money is on the dad!

  9. I really don’t think he is the killer. Because  in cases that CJW have had the writer is showing us that things are not what they seams.   BHS is a disturbed person with a dark dark passed but he seemed too surprised when he heard that the roommate had got a call from  the murderer.

I don’t believe CJW knows  anything. Yes she’s not innocent but sometimes love is blind. I think she will put two and two together eventually…. We don’t know when the first scene took place….

If they go with him being a killer then yes, we won't get a happy ending. But if he is the misunderstood guy we might get a happy ending.

My heart want a happy ending, my mind want Lee Joon Gi to stretch his wing and play a bad guy.

It's of course much better with an happy ending..but I want them to stay true to the story. In some dramas they just do happy endings without it fitting in the plot.

LJG is an excellent actor and I want the writer to just make use of that talent.

  11. It has been a while since I have been in this forum. Not because my admiration  for LJG but life just happened to keep me busy. Sadly not in a good way. But now I’m back and hopefully can be  more active around here.

Now let’s  talk CM! As a person who has watched American crime series (although I’m not an  expert) I think it was alright. It was well done and well written.  However, it’s definitely not something I will rewatch nor miss. Honestly, I thought it was a waste of LJGs excellent talent. I know a lot of you loved  the show but for me, it was a bit flat compare  to  LJGs another projects.

Me too. Hopefully we'll hear something soon. Although I also want him to get a well deserved rest before he's back.

you two are not alone. I've definitely  lost my sanity over LJK

I SO wished I had time to come to this tread more often. My spirits lifts whenever I come here.

Hi everyone. I know there's more than enough LJG SG concert clips out there, but if you're the type to collect it all, I have a ton of vids/pics. I'm not maintaining my YT or IG, so uploading all my videos to any of those is going to be quite arduous and ineffective.

Feel free to view/download them all here: (link inside spoiler tag)

It's a dropbox link. No ad, no paywall, nothing. Feel free to share anywhere. Enjoy! :)

P.S. I apologize in advance for my demented screaming in most of the clips. :grimace:

    Thank you so much!

This thread is moving so fast that i've hardly had the time to read and  comment. But i want to thank everyone who have shared pictures and videos!
