Of course, she knows that the goblins were created out of inanimate objects. That's part of their folklore. I still can't totally trust this guy. I still have doubts on him.
Though he's JoonJae's friend and accomplice, it's a possibility that he might do something to Shim Cheong if he finds out that she's a mermaid (eg: using Shim Cheong for money and fame) .
I hope I'm really wrong with this.

I do agree that it's a possibility that Wang Yeo is the King and Kim Sun is the queen's reincarnation.
Based from the queen's personality, she has the same aura like Kim Sun. It's also possibility that Kim Sun is the adult version of the queen if she wasn't killed and continues to live till adulthood or old age. It's also a possibility that the Queen and Shin are related (possibly siblings, cousins or uncle-niece relationship).
We haven't seen how the king looks like when he became an adult. It's possible Wang Yeo is the king's adult version.
Wang Yeo cried while seeing the ring, it's a possibility that he still love his queen and regretted the things he had done to her and also possibly regretted killing innocent people, even his loyal general Shin.(Possibly the king and General Shin were friends till the king was blinded by fear and jealousy through eunuch's bad advice)
The King deeply regretted and repented his sins and asking god's forgiveness. He was forgiven by the god, thus he was allowed to drink the amnesiac tea. In return, he was assigned to become one of angels of death/grim reaper.

I was thinking that maybe it's a possibility that Ji EunTak's past life is the daughter of the former king, Wang Yeo's brother.
Ji EunTak was a princess in her previous life.
Wang Yeo was her uncle. She was close to Queen Sun (it's possible Queen Sun took care of her or spends most time with her) and also to Warrior Shin (possible she's fond of him) .
Warrior Shin might not recognize her because the former King (Wang Yeo's brother)'s daughter is still very young (9 year old girl). Goblin Shin didn't know what Ji EunTak looks like when she was very young.
Reaper Yeo and Sunny don't recognize her because Reaper still can't remember his past and Sunny doesn't know her previous life.
