    Watching episode with subs, and you know something is wrong with me when i'm starting to feel sorry for the bad guys (namely El Plague and El Maid who goes on to talk about their future life together after she leaves the palace while I know that's not going to happen & that she ends up dying)… I blame the writers for putting within me such feelings for two of the most hateful characters in this drama! who's with me??? *sigh* just kidding… writers, just help me not feel sorry for the good guys in this story anymore…i want to see the light already at the end of this very dark tunnel called the remaining episodes of EK… pretty, pretty please… 
    @ diana76  oh yeah, i don't think it'll be simple for SN at all.  She's going to need TT's help to figure this one out, especially since lately she seems to be letting her heart rule her head/influence her mind (regarding WY).  I'm glad TT kept her grounded with his strong counsel.  I hope he continues to side with her (i have no doubt especially since he's starting to or have been thinking more about the nation/ppl than his clan).  I wonder, though, if he'll continue to pretend not to know about "her mistakes" if he learns that Maha is her son.  Or will he ever find out about that?  Or will he just know that Maha is not Tanashiri's son?  I'm sure he's not inhuman like his cousin, the evil Empress.  So I don't think he'll have him killed.  What do you guys think?

    EstelleH  I think you're not asking much at all.  That is a reasonable request from us viewers.  But meeeen, the writers are determined to give TH and SN so many enemies at the same time (internally and externally).  It just looks so complicated to fix! & so little episodes to do so!   Especially with the truth about Maha being disclosed to SN only now.  I mean, c'mon, writers, why make Eunuch Bang (is that name right?) disclose the truth only now?  Is it b/c he thinks WY's dead and Maha is the only heir to the Koryo throne?   The only things that's making me happy with this episode is TT's willingness to side/protect SN and grant her her wish (to protect WY) since according to her, WY helped their ppl out.

    I loved how TT is secretly helping Lady Ki while, at the same time, know the going-ons of the other side (ED and his uncle). From this episode, I can see that TT really cares about both Lady Ki and his uncle a lot; he shows more emotions when he’s affected by them than anyone else. But he’s still divided about his loyalties. I wonder if he’ll choose to be loyal to Lady Ki if or when his uncle takes liberties with the seal he received from the Emperor, showing abuse of his power. I also hope TT somehow helps Lady Ki not to completely fall apart, especially at this time.

    Hmmm, what to say about this episode? When it was said that the episodes are going to get dark from this time onward before the end, it's true.  This episode makes me miss the early, light, comedic episodes.  Now, we have the heavy, melodramatic part of this series.  Writers: Why are the good guys (TH, WY, SN) creating more enemies for themselves? (they hv a lot already in their plate: ED, Bayan, Empress, DK and co., and Eagle House)  By selling to the enemies (WY), by allowing insecurities about SN & the losses in the war fill him to the point of becoming a drunk (TH), by letting WY's "death" cause herself to become a drunk as well (SN)?  Why, writers? why??? the only one who remains sane and level-headed right now is TT.  I hope TT won't allow SN to continue to go downhill after learning of WY's "death," b/c if he doesn't intervene, who or what will?

    i hope Tal Tal and Lady Ki never become enemies…that'll break my heart…true, that's probably what happened in real history and perhaps even in the novel, but please, writers, don't let that happen in the drama…they're one of the main reasons i'm still watching EK. 
    If they do become enemies, i don't know who to cheer for b/c rite now, i'm cheering for both.

    I've been thinking about SN and her words to TT.  She said that El-Temur's treasure is almost gone…what if she's lying to TT about that in order to get him to help her?  True, TT said that he won't be fooled twice, but by not only helping the people but by also tricking him in this way maybe she can, as a result, be able to find out her enemies'  plans and movements secretly through TT (who may protect his uncle, at first, but later, turn on him when he sees his uncle consumed by greed).   By pleading with TT to help her and that her life is in his hands, perhaps besides that being true, maybe she's trying to get TT to lower his guard around her, making him less vigilant about her doings/works while winning his pity/compassion at the same time.  Perhaps SN can sense how shaken or affected TT is by her whether it's concern or keen awareness of her presence.  I don't think the gold's run out.  That was a lot of gold!  But who knows?  I may be wrong.

(and we all have to be patient >_<)….I dunno…UGH, my head hurts…Otherwise, why did she show so much care/concern to Maha after he cried when she was trying to keep her distance before?  Also, it's possible that this is the case b/c the writers like to keep things in the dark for us, including how SN really feels, but her actions speak a lot.PBW asked SN when she will demask Maha as not related to TH because it is dangerous already even more approching the date of the naming of the future Crown Prince and with ED poisioning MH with TN death and her her killer...she had the perfect cards in her hands to demask this 2 things and she let it pass,not typical of her and more after knowing how dangerous KT is when she even dared kill Ayu..she just let it all go..ahhhhh,now we'll have to wait another week to see what will happen next@-)

    Thank you all for the live recaps and gifs and comments and everything else that was posted for episode 43!!!!  I'm so glad that we didn't see another mad TH scene, ESPECIALLY at the end of the episode, giving our poor hearts much needed rest and recuperation from ep. 42's last 5 minutes of craziness.  I'm also happy to see SN being there for her Paeha.  Nice to see SN and TT together in a few scenes too.  Love how conscious they are of the other whenever they're near each other. Hopefully, TT sides with SN already.  She has too many enemies and her allies have been captured!  She's going to need all the help she can get.  As for ML, who in the world is he/she?!?!?

    Then Dangkise takes a turn with the whip.  (So much for family ties, eh Dangkise?)
    The F4 cannot take it and plead with Maha to make them stop.
    Maha just closes the door on them.

    i really can't keep quiet about TH's transformation.  I'm just shaken with his seemingly new personality after 5 years.  Without knowing what episode 42 is all about, but just from what I can see from reading the live recaps (thx so much to all who did that for us tonight!!!:)), I conclude that the letter about/of WY &/to SN really made TH desperate for success in the war, whether it's with Koryo (that remains to be seen and understood by the eng subs) or with other nations.  TH even killed someone who is probably innocent and who probably did his best to follow TH's orders, but couldn't…I also hate the fact that the sweet boy in Maha that we all know and love seems to be gone.  Hopefully, WY returns to Yuan to change his boy back before it's too late!
