, but yeah, I watched OBS in Netflix. 
They were questions that was asked of YS for the interview for the documentary (JW and his cameraman were there). But instead of JW asking, his questions were written on the screen but there was no translation (on my end, there wasn’t any. I don’t know why even though I was watching via Netflix). It was in Episode 6. During this time, CW was still doing the live drawing.

Oh, yeah, not sure if it’s the same for you guys, my fellow OBS fans / fandom, are the English subtitles missing for certain Korean written texts like the questions asked to YS during the Live Drawing? I think I need to Google Translate this… lol

Gah, even though these latest episodes crushed my heart, the story and the main actors are just so good. Reading the WEBTOON version is interesting and insightful. It helps me understand a couple of things about the characters in the drama version. I look forward to a time when our OTP can learn and grow from the past and move forward. This time, together… they (WE) need a happy ending.
By the way, does anyone know how long these two dated before their breakup?

I'm enjoying the latest episodes so far. I really do hope Kim Ga On doesn't plan to harm the "Crown Prince" and is sincere about protecting her, though the drama is telling us otherwise...i'm excited to learn his backstory and for him to talk more. His acting without talking reminds me of Shin-Ha in Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn) anime series. Lol...he uses his actions, not words when the latter is necessary, so the "Crown Prince" and her right hand maid (?) thought he was gonna kill her. LOL.

Gah, I’m so happy, content, and sad at the same time. This drama is definitely one of my favorite shows that I’m gonna watch again and again, especially when I need a pick-me-up and a laugh or two or more. Lol. I must say the writers and others responsible for the show went above and beyond my expectations. True, it’s not completely perfect but it’s extremely close. One of my favorite things about it is the way mental and emotional health / illness was addressed and handled. There were both bad and good ways, for sure, and I love HJ demonstrating the latter with DS. And I’m sooooooo happy they gave us not just a happy ending but a satisfying one at that (I can’t help but think other drama writers, etc. gotta take notes on how dramas should end, though we can do well without trucks of doom untimely deaths, injustices, but…oh well…we can’t always get everything we want. Lol!)
And thank you everyone for your posts! It made me love this drama even more.

Love the ending... now, dramas gotta copy this drama’s example in tying everything so nicely together at the end.. nothing felt rushed or wasted in the use of the drama’s time... though I’m happy for Nam Do-San, my heart just breaks for JiPyeong... his crying makes me tell my mom (who was also watching the series with me): “I’m here, don’t cry. I’ll have you.” Lol

Who screamed with me when Kang asked CY questions in front of Bada Restuarant and she nodded "yes" to each one, especially after he realized who she really was to him? I couldn't stop re-watching that scene.
So beautiful..our OTP.

Just got addicted to this drama. Love, love, love it...lol...According to the latest episode, it seems like YS is going to miss her chance to leave N.K....but i'm glad she's choosing to stay to make sure our ML is alright. I hope YS gets more allies besides him and his men especially while staying in N.K. I was thinking of those village ladies, or that guy who hears everything that's going on at RJH's place. His conscience is really killing him..maybe soon, he'll give in and help RJH and YS for once, especially since he must have learned that YS helped his wife and kid...

I'm rewatching the series, my favorite scenes (I seriously can't let go, yet. Lol), and man, i just love our OTP at the start and middle, but towards the end, I don't get them. I feel like i'm watching something from Body Snatchers. Lol. They're so different! I can't get them anymore, where they are coming from, especially when they interact with each other. ZW became irritating to me, with her letting emotion overtake her good sense and as for NY, he became possessive of ZW that bordered on creepy, and his new face didn't help one bit. Lol. And yes, i'm talking about the bed scene...it was jarring to see him push her like that..for one thing, he threatened HZ that if he'd ever hurt her, he'd kill him, but here he is hurting her by mistreating her as if he could do it just because he's Emperor.. i hate that scene! then, the next scene was them being okay and talking. The transition was really off. Anyone here felt like cringing when watching that scene the first time?

Thank you!!! The novel ending is waaaaaay better...a lot more complex and it really showcased our OTP's intelligence as individuals and as a couple and it's a happy ending...I wish the TV producers could have pulled this off in the big screen. I believe they could. They just want to make us cry or have our hearts broken or have us so frustrated...Lol.-

There was a reason the 10th prince existed in the first place. While all the other princes were power hungry (including Ning Yi to some degree) he was the only one who seemed innocent and kind. I feel like everything being resolved in the next 10 episodes is just too quick. I wouldn't mind if it was 80 episodes just to time and flesh out more of what's to come.
Yeah, i thought the beginning episodes were too detailed with plot of overthrowing the Crown Prince. There were so many episodes that i felt dwelled too much on it. And then towards the end of the show, I felt like i'm missing important details to explain a lot of scenes. Oh well, i guess we can't have everything with this drama. Lol.

I get why she chose suicide, but man, i just wish she thought of other options to help her with her bloodguilt though indirect, like, moving far away and focusing on a new purpose in life, giving herself time to grieve, to heal and then, either return to NY or wait for him to come to her?? Or allow NY to have an heir, raise him to be the next Emperor, and then NY retire early and meet up with ZW? lol...sorry, I'm not creative in thinking on how this could have ended better...it's just the ending isn't only tragic but it's been done before. So it'd be nice to get a different kind of ending..something if not happy, bittersweet...more on the sweet than bitter... -

I notice that with Netflix that only when a new show or new episodes have been added that we get notified of that, but as for shows or movies they delete, i don't think they've informed us or will do so in the future. They should inform us, right?

Anybody wondering whether Zi Wei knew what happened to Hua Qiong? If she did know that she died, why didn't we see ZW mourn for her like she did for many others (she even mourned for ppl she didn't know). I felt like the writers should have included that. I mean, ZW viewed HQ as a sister too besides ZY, right?
Also, anybody noticed the fast facial hair growth in the Emperor's and NY's faces? What was that about? Time jump? But hardly any time passed. Side effect of that spell thing?? What do you guys think?

WARNING!!!!SPOILERS of the Chinese version below!!!
Wow! Korean version is sadder!!! She is kneeling in the rain right after getting tortured. In the Chinese version, she kneeled in the rain but in fairly good health. I don't recall her being tortured, just demoted from her court/tea lady position to a laundry girl. But at least the Korean version kept the part when 4th prince shield her from the rain with his cape. AHHHHHHHHH! This is too much. I hope 11th episode gets MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better.
I'm sad that in the Korean version she wasn't initially highly favoured by the king like in the Chinese version. Her progress to becoming a mature, proper, intelligent Gorygeo lady seems slow whereas the plot progression with events occurring with her is fast when I compare it to the Chinese version. I guess it's because Korean version has to air only 20 whereas BBJX was like 35 episodes.
Where's 8th prince? What is he doing to save HS? We see 4th prince in action (as usual). How about 8th prince? Or the other princes? Will the ones who care for HS be bold enough to do something to help her? In the Chinese version, I remember 14th prince kneeling in the rain in her behalf too. Will he or the other princes do the same? AHHHH! I can't wait for Monday night.

*pondering*I think she will imply it and only later on…. he will realise it to be true. I think 13th prince will play a role in confirming that too if this drama will follow the Chinese version to a tee in the end.

When HS said that WS being a good person is more important to her than his scar and what people think of or say of him reminded me of a scene in one of the previous episodes of how WS wants a woman who will treasure him in spite of his scar. YH/YW obviously can't do that, only HS. *SQUEAL* I can't wait for the full episode!!!

(SPOILERS IN YELLOW)
BBJX, the Chinese version of MLSHR destroyed me with its intense angst in the latter half of its run, but it still is one of my favourite dramas, very well-written and well-acted. The Korean version, MLSHR, is such a joy to watch for me. Maybe one reason for me is how light the tone feels so far (perhaps because it's the first part of the series). Also, it's based off from BBJX with Korean history and the actors are really good in their roles. Lots of eye candy too xD (and LJK!!!! One of my fave male actors - he has the most expressive facial expressions, which gives us insight into his thinking & feelings without a word. Last time i watched him acting was in Joseon Gunman (i recommend it by the way, great plot too!)). I can see the parallels between the Chinese version and the Korean version. There are slight differences here and there, which is natural, of course, seeing it is a Korean adaptation. I'm excited for the parallels for HS' love line with WS.
In the Chinese version, many gifts were given by the 4th prince to the female lead, Rouxi. I wonder if WS will do the same thing for HS or if not, what gestures will he perform to show his love for her? I've seen one scene where they're at the beach on his horse (in the trailer) asking her if she wants to run away and how he's willing to do it for her. ***SWOON*** I wonder, did he just take her away from the palace spontaneously? He seems to be the type to do such a thing, a difference from the Chinese 4th prince who always does things with forethought, but WS is a wild card, very unpredictable. So i'm excited for that…honestly, Chinese 4th prince was boring in many instances, lol. As for WS, I love his intense nature (except for his killing side: yikes!!!). So we must expect his love for HS will be intense too? I just hope it's not suffocating like Chinese 4th prince after he became emperor and claimed Rouxi as his. I hope WS isn't manipulative with HS either. Otherwise, he'll be just like his mother, the queen. I'm really curious about what will get WS to be interested in the throne. In BBJX, Chinese 4th prince was interested in becoming emperor from the start. As for WS, I wonder how he'll get to that point to pursue the throne.

I think it was being tracked by the bad guys. How? I'm not sure but I remember Ahjumma bringing it to JH's attention. So at the bus, he "cleaned it."

Is it just me or are the other ships shippable, if that makes sense? Lol. For example, I find myself liking CW with NJ and YS with JW...but I don't mind CW and YS together either, as long as CW and YS aren't fighting or hurting each other..i like them together... The realism of past relationships in this drama is A +..
Edited: Oh, yeah, i agree about YS being too much at times for CW. But i was just thinking, CW too, needs to improve. I remember a time when YS kept asking him questions that may seem trivial at the time to CW, but CW himself disregards them or doesn't take them seriously either. But his answers mattered a lot to her. I just thought she needed the same reassurances from him as he needed from her regarding their love.
