  1. Arrghhhh!!! I got a feeling this drama will leave me broken and empty when it ends...Every bits and pieces of it are awesome..Everything works perfectly. Some previous melodramas have scenes where they cry a bucket of tear and you just don't know why but That winter you can really understood where the characters where coming from. It has a lot of questions that really will make you stay in tune..I haven't enjoy any Kdrama in a long while probably 3 or 4 years. Heck! I can't even remember what drama I last watch that I feel empty when it ends..Some I watch just because my fave is in there but I got a feeling that this drama will leave a mark in me. All the actors are doing great. Everyone's in their right element. Eun Ji might not be as good as the others but she stands her ground. Just hope it is executed well..So far so good...

  2. Article: 'That Winter' viewers fall in love with Song Hye Gyo's acting and beauty

    1. [+515, -16] The subtle facial expressions she made when Jo In Sung was reading the letter were really great

    2. [+509, -23] So pretty.. A visual shock! A pretty woman who also acts well

    3. [+472, -20] I think it's our first luxury drama in a while.. I'll be waiting for the next episode.

I’m not a Song Hye Kyo fan (I think she’s pretty enough but will never get why folks think she’s some sort of goddess level gorgeous), but she’s doing a solid job of fleshing out Oh Young – her isolation, her limitations, her shred of hope. Playing a partially blind person, she never comes across as “acting” like a blind person, but that’s likely because the role requires Oh Young to try to go through her life as normal as possible.
Watch. This. Drama. Now. I wish I could end this recap right here, but alas there is so much awesome in episode 2 I don’t even know where to start. Now this is what I call finger lickin’ good melodrama! I questioned SBS‘s decision to air two back-to-back episodes of That Winter, The Wind Blows, which was clearly an attempt to get a leg-up on its competition, and the end result is a success in my book. Episode 2 was fantastic, taking a rather decent but uninspiring episode 1 and running with it like a runningback spotting a break and gunning for the end zone. The guy is far from reaching the goal line, but I loved the deft maneuvering to get open. If anyone loved Nice Guy as much as I did, then this is the drama for you to jump on. I find Noh Hee Kyung‘s writing more nuanced than Lee Kyung Hee, who excels at the emotional connections like no other, but Noh Hee Kyung puts a little more brainy thought into it. Nice Guy was a marvelous melodrama, hitting all the right buttons for me with some fine acting elevating the material, but at times there were lots of unpaved motivations and narrative leaps.
Within 2 episodes of TWTWB, I feel like this story is really well mapped out – the main characters are introduced gradually but effectively in ways that make sense, and the reasoning behind what is happening is logical and believable. Perhaps I’m giving Noh Hee Kyung too much credit, since this is a remake of the 2002 J-dorama Ai Nante Irane Yo, Natsu (I Don’t Need Love, Summer), which was already remade into the 2006 movie Love Me Not with Moon Geun Young and Kim Joo Hyuk. When on starts with a well-formed outline, it’s much easier to trace within the lines. That doesn’t take away how thoughtful the dialogue has been, with flourishes that make me stop and think and details that punctuate a scene with added intensity. I’m already emotionally invested in Oh Young’s struggle in life, pitying Oh Soo’s fate and choices (or lack thereof), and loving how second leads Jin Sung and Hee Sun make up this wonderfully rich trio with Oh Soo to try and keep on living the only way they know how. I’ve actually not watched either of the other two earlier works so I don’t know how those end, nor do I think this will necessarily adhere to the same resolution as before. Whatever TWTWB has up its sleeve, I’m totally committed to following it to the very end.

Am I the only one whose stupidly crying right now??? I admit that thou I'm happy that finally Song Hye Gyo chose her project for her small screen comeback but I have quite reservations for this drama..First, is that its a melodrama which has a possibility of having a sad ending which people tend to shy away now. Second, It's with the same writer as Worlds Within where our girl was bash for her acting. and so on.....But seeing comments and reviews makes me cry that finally Song Hye gyo is receiving positive reviews not only for her beauty but for her acting as well. What makes me more happy is that I've read koala's playground review which we know she is not a big fan of SHK and she gave her a positive review plus netizens are giving SHK credit for not just being a beauty but talented at acting as well..Having to undergo those WW era and netizens bashing her regarding her previous relationship makes me hungry for a recognition for SHK...They may come 2nd in rating but hope this buzz leads them to be number 1 though I might not care a lot about ratinsg but I want SHK to hit daebak with this drama...The rating is very promising for a pilot episode...

  3. @crystal392: Those plagiarism issues are already proven wrong since the court dismisses the case (I know you know this by now..) but through hardship I believe it let them got stronger...Just look at their schedules and proving themselves worthy..I believe in CNBLUE's passion and music so we shouldn't worry much and just believe in them..Every band has their own mountain to climb. Lets just say CNBLUE's has more cliffs because othe stereotyping.Haters are just going to hate. I feel bad for them on missing such a genuine music. What I hope is that CNBLUE would just one day caught them by surprise and realise what a great band they are...

    (Isn't he the cutest?? :\">  :\">  :\">)
CNBLUE's front man Jung Yong Hwa tweeted a very adorable selca late Tuesday night of himself imitating the expression the 'Homer Simpson' illustration on his t-shirt was making. In his very cute tweet he stated, "Everyone! kk I look like him, right? kk It’s late, I want you to get a good night's sleep after seeing me! kk Hwaiting tomorrow, too!"

A few months ago, Yonghwa first expressed his love for the Simpsons on Twitter for the first time. Since then, the popular Idol has shared selca after selca showing his growing collection of Simpsons memorabilia. Loving CNBLUE Fans have added to this growing collection by gifting him with Simpsons clothes, toys & stuffed dolls at recent CNBLUE fan meetings and autograph signings. At this point, Yonghwa probably has more Simpsons gifts than he knows what to do with, possibly making him wish he had never mentioned it the public but either way, he has shown his utmost appreciation for his fans.

CNBLUE are currently actively promoting their 4th Mini album 'RE:BLUE' and are making their music show and fan meet rounds to spread the word.

  4. CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa, Moon Hee Jun, Haha, and Woo Ji Won to Appear on ‘Moonlight Prince’

Adding more princes to the show, KBS’ Moonlight Prince will be inviting CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa, Moon Hee Jun, HaHa, and basketball player, Woo Ji Won to the show.
Having grown up with Slam Dunk, a popular Japanese manga about basketball, Jung Yong Hwa, Moon Hee Jun, HaHa, and Woo Ji Won will give each other trivia questions based on the 24 books.

With Slam Dunk being a symbolic cultural trend of that particular generation, the staff decided that many would be able to relate and understand the topic.

“Jung Yong Hwa was chosen first, and while researching, we thought it would be possible for other guests from different age groups to participate in the discussion. They all agreed to appear without hesitation,” said the staff. “We believe a lot of good discussion and insight can come from this one manga series, since all guests were once on basketball teams.”

The episode will be recorded on February 6 and will broadcast on February 12.

As a YongHwa fan, it makes me happy to see hardcore fans of other girls to see so many qualities in uri boy that they see him as a perfect match to their biases. But at the same time, I feel sad because uri boy gets involved in some scandals and then his fans subdivide based on which girl they think suits him more and then they fight and... *sigh*

  6. TRAN said: Haha.. The fan boy is making history there. Kissing YongHwa for the world to see.
Someone said they wish to see him in a drama. But for me, I wish he continues with his music, polishing his MCing, guest star in variety shows and doing commercial films. And not the dramas. Um.. I'm Park Shin Hye's bias. So I wish whenever people talking about YongHwa's co-star. It will just be Park Shin Hye. Ha!

  7. Lovin allkpop recently...lots of Yong Hwa and CNBLUE articles......

CNBLUE‘s Yonghwa was approached by a particularly passionate male fan during January 26th’s ‘Entertainment Relay‘.

The band, who made a comeback with the current hit “I’m Sorry“, featured as the guests of the show’s ‘Guerilla Date‘ segment. The members made a surprise appearance at an amusement park, where Yonghwa ran into an overzealous male fan.

The fan was incredibly happy to see CNBLUE. He began singing “I’m a Loner” and chose Yonghwa as the best looking member of the group.

Reporter Kim Tae Jin then stated, “Kiss the CNBLUE member you like the most.” The members responded, “We refuse though.” However, the male fan ignored their comment and went in to kiss Yonghwa, who definitely looked a bit caught off guard.

  8. Wow...glad this thread is being active again...let's keep it alive... :D
Sorry...those close friends I know of Yong Hwa where already mentioned...Yong hwa's close friends are really hard to see..I think they keep it low when they are with their buddies..Look at Lee Joon and Yong Hwa whenever they appear at Running man they hardly got captured together in film but when you see fancams and behind the scene pics they are always together...

  9. Ommo...I'm still high from Yong hwa's appearance on RM and now this...kyaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.....Simon D, Yong Hwa and Gary were awesome in that episode and now with another of his best bud Lee Joon...plus Jong Hyun on his 2nd appearance...cant wait...so that's what Yong Hwa mean when he said, RM, I'll visit you soon..I know he will have another appearance but I didn't know its this early....hope its a back to back episode..

  10. Wow!!!!!!These two is already oozing with chemistry in a photoshopd picture and those paparatzy pics its already screaming of chemistry..Can't wait...

If it's sbs that's going to broadcast this drama. Can I be greedy and wish for Song Hye Gyo or Jo In Sung much better both to guest in Running man since the top stars now is a frequent guest of running man??????....

  11. Ommo ommo ommo!!!!!!!!Hello everyone here especially to the ceo's of this thread Kim and putrin......This is jjeennyycca but for some reason I cant open my previous account that's why I have to make a new one...It's been a long time since I've been here and maybe one of the reason why I have this instinct to check this thread was because of this....Wow!!!!!!Our prayers have been answered...Unni's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yeay!!!!!!I still wish it was Won bin (and because Song Hye gyo has a habit of appearing in drama's every 4 years and Won Bin's not even interested making one so this couple is next to impossible) instead of Jo In Sung but who am I to disagree with this blessing...kekekeke...Love Jo In Sung and I think the pair is visually perfect too..I'm into light drama's and can't watch Autumn tale like the way I've ripped my dvd of full house but It's SONG HYE GYO...Still and will always be my number 1 korean star......can't wait till next year....
