    Last time to squee and throw things and lose our marbles over this show...can't believe it its going to be over in an hour.  :tears: You have all been amazing. I have loved the recaps on this threat so much. I have been glued to it every Mon-Tues and it makes me so sad that we won't have our puppies to coo over after this. Thank you to our translators and recappers. You are all STARS! :heart:

    And now lets brace ourselves for the last epy. I haven't seen 17 yet but plan to watch both together just to maintain my sanity, lol! :D

    Thank you for the title translation! I was hoping for some hints. :D The title sounds almost like a reference to our CP's dream of how Josean should be in the future. Ironically I think RO's dad had a similar viewpoint. Difference is they are on opposite sides...but clearly have similar ideas about their people.

    Of course we currently have a king who swoons at the mention of a threat and a snake of PM to sit there and stir the pot. Can the king just faint anytime something happens? It allows CP to get the job done then, without listening to that evil PM Kim. Grrr!

    Hahahaha! This seriously made me laugh so hard. It is the one time the King did something to help the situation instead of waving his arms about and having his eyes pop out of their sockets. Can't wait to see all this unfold.

    Its going to be a crazy ride to the finale chingus. Lets band together and get thru this. The preview editing is deceptive as usual. I feel in spite of his anger and hurt, the prince will do what he can to spare RO's father. He might use the guise of wanting to get information re the current situation with the rebellion or past events. I think its high time those past events and PM's dirty deeds get thrown out into the open.

    I am also allowing myself to be distracted by how gorgeous Park Bo Gum looks in his wedding attire so that I don't focus on the fact that they will probably show us a wedding scene. Though they might only lead up to the ceremony and suddenly something disrupts it (I can hope right?). A lot can happen in this episode. @Jillia you said he might go to meet RO after the ceremony no? Based on the novels?

    Given the wedding is happening so late in the day, it feels like that 11th hour obstacle or plot device that shows up in lots of dramas. Its usually around this time in the drama when it appears. But things work out for the best. I am going to try to think that way... /hides face in pillow/

    Beautiful costume post @Jillia :wub: I love your attention to detail. And I love learning the names of these different costumes and the many components that make up a full costume. Certainly a nice thing to tide us over while we wait for the preview.

    I share everyone's sentiments about this live shooting. Our poor cast must be exhausted-esp our leads. If they are filming 16 now it means its the home stretch. 2 more eps and they are done. Hope Bogummy and Yoojung get a nice long break after this. They deserve it-what an amazing job they've done on this show!

    BTW my bestie and I have been hoping so hard that the last scene (where the soldiers march towards the house in which CP and RO are) is a fake out of some kind. Only would they do it twice? They did a fake out for the prison scene earlier in ep 14, so would they do another so quickly...

    Talk about a one track mind for this girl.I wanted to give her a bit more credit regarding that talk with CP. If it was actually to help her father avoid PM and further her family then it was cold and calculated and a sacrifice on her part. But she seems to be motivated by her crush on our CP.

    I do the same thing every week. I think watching this show without subs would have me crawling up the walls the whole time. :P I just love to savour it with the subs and take my time. With the way things are going the subs might be out early tonight. 

    Aww look at our babies. :wub: I just saw Bogummy's latest tweet and was cooing over both of them. I hope he's feeling better. The live shoots must be getting to him.

    I'm a bit concerned about this too. Given what happens in the next ep it would be near impossible for her to be in the palace after she is found out... unless the boys come up with something like making sure the PM gets the wrong info. In the last ep when YS was about to write something someone suggested he could be re-writing the note that was supposed to go to PM's cronies or underlings. I think this could be it. YS might set it up so that he implicates some other woman...I hope its someone who doesn't exist so that some innocent girl doesn't get dragged in. So PM gives the King the wrong info (preview bit where he goes: "so this is the daughter?") and they start hunting for a girl who doesn't exist.

    Re the pic since the preview is out we know its not Monday's episode, but it could be from Tuesday's episode because they have got to the live shoot stage now. I don't know if they shoot scenes out of order in kdramas. And with CP in his official attire it cannot be outside the palace. This must be their usual eating spot outside RO and BY's quarters.

    Does it look like what Ra On was wearing in the last scene yesterday? Maybe its hers? I was wondering too if it could be something she borrowed from him...after...ahem. ;) But maybe its the lighting. It makes the colours look so rich in the new pics.

    @lovehbhjw2013 same here, dear. :) Ratings drops don't worry me given this show is hitting it out of the park every night. But I really want this show to do amazingly well and hit some new milestones. Yes to breaking that 2nd day drop curse! :D

    I have decided to give up thinking straight about these two. Bring on the fangirling! The way they look at each other just slays me. :wub:

    @lovehbhjw2013 if these pics keep circulating before the show airs tonight the ratings could be thru the roof! I think the show hit 20% last night? 2nd day is usually a tiny drop no? Maybe they can change that tonight! ;)

    I actually find that scene when the Head Eunuch was eyeing the PM very consolatory somehow. If the Head Eunuch is not present in the room when the PM speaks to the King, I would be so very terrified of what plans the PM would have cooked up and coerced the King to do. With the Head Eunuch in there witnessing and listening to everything, as a viewer, we can kind of see that the Head Eunuch has been playing the role of a guardian too. In the end, his loyalty lies with the nation, and I think he understands that the troubles the nation is facing is not truly the fault of the current incompetent King, but that evil schemes cooked up by that vile snake of a PM. 

    Speaking of the vile PM, someone also pointed out that the actress who played his daughter gave an excellent performance. I agree! She was practically leaking and oozing evil from every pore of her body and eyes!

    Wonderful insights! :) Gosh I am with you in feeling so much better about head eunuch not liking the PM. Sometimes he is the only defense for the king. Him being in the room to witness the PM's plans is a good thing. I remember head eunuch even asked the King if it wouldn't be wise to postpone the prince's wedding. It can be taken in two ways...one: that he was protecting the interests of the crown prince or two: that he had a bigger agenda. It could be that his agenda will not harm our crown prince in the end.

    You drew a lovely parallel there between what the prince dreams of doing for the country and what he is actually, physically doing now-like fighting for the little girl and her father to be released. He is walking the talk. Your insight gives me hope that head eunuch will also see this and believe that the royal family lineage needs to continue and that the crown prince will do what is needed.

    The queen is quite the viper. Pure poison, that one. The actress really lets go and its fantastic.

Those who have read the novel can prob weigh in on this as the show has played around with story ideas before, I think.
