  1. I am disappointed  about the ratings..true that this writer doesnt get ratings  but i was hoping the costly production will help...

I admit I wasn't expecting to be surprised at all in this show.. but that SHs secret came out of nowhere  ..and i was thinking that the korean audience might react negatively to a lead in adult kdrama being a lesbian  ?

    what do you think

    ...........................................
i want to fangirl over the fab fashion here...

HS chiffon long dresses with pastel cardigans

    SH orange pants suit

I need to find pictures for all of them

    ................

I saw a lot of negative comments about the tone of the show

mixing seriousness and comedy that's not supposed to be funny is called satire and yes.. the atmosphere in the house and the way its designed is supposed to be nasty ..I find it funny that something like that can be seen as negative in a kdrama ? where design and location is never a thing

the way the rich characters are portrayed in an absurd manner is the way ppl feel about capitalism..those new rich who are the elite but they can never get enough is funnily shown by the grandma.. who is basking in money but is lusting after ( the blue diamond )

this is REAL btw...and I dont see any appreciation for the money spent on the show..cause it looks like a million bucks

all I see is talk about a predictable show

    ....

the korean society is very very extreme .. so seeing extreme types is normal.. I see the two leads as two women dealing not with the rich crazy tribe.. but two women dealing with korean society that has prejudice as its motto

    ....

the throwing of dishes that the aristocrat daughter in law collects means they are trash and tasteless .. and they see destruction of these values as revenge for the inferiority they feel in the presence of the classiness .. that they can't obtain by money

but I think one scene or two were enough.. it can easily get irritated if it goes on..

  2. first of all

how gorgeous is the house ...def the most beautiful location in any kdrama and its interesting that the house looks designed to be a character ...dark and sinister and like a beehive cell ..I bet all of the cost went on the luxurious feel of the drama.. possible the first time i see real money and luxury done to feel real in a kdrama

    now for the PD...

lol that intro was a lil  crazy starting with the church and ending with the peacock ..and the storms and the rain made me smile .. it seemed like the writer brought it with her from her other drama

other that that.. the cinematography is rich and the colors are everywhere .. great sense of detail ...

I am surprised that they decided to show that the victim of the murder would be a woman

initially I thought the drama would be a face off between HS and SH .. it doesnt seem that way till now.. which would a real waste of the two facing off...

the thing here is how will pull off the sinister stranger staying on ..

    @ponderings

this got me wondering too .. like if you these two together.. shouldnt it be about them  together or apart  ? it depends on whether they still shooting and only shot the early episodes ?

    @tofumochu

we dont know the dynamics in the house.. SH seems to run it behind the scenes so she might have known about the recording thing ...I didnt understand the house thing ..its early anyway

    Agreed!! LOLLL!! :joy:

this poster is just.... NO! Doesn't look luxurious at all and I'm not sure the way LBY has clasped her hands fits the principles of photo taking and poster making. :D

    I'm still excited tho.....

PS: Am I the only one who's unable to see many drama threads? Since Sunday I cannot view threads for dramas like Sell Your Haunted House....

you kno korean dramas .. they love their boring posing posters..

the other poster clearly shows the pose of the title ...

new poster is  ( I am not sure what i am doing here ) pose..

and the outfits ( who chose these boring colors nooo

  4. i've since decided that kdrama have def lost their way and their appeal ages ago ..they have no identity now , its all about the popularity and the ratings craze especially since ratings hit rock bottom lately

the crazy ratings these dramas have achieved  ( sky,WOTM,penthouse ) will put pressure to create similar shows about crazy women and elite rich ppl..you can see tvn upcoming shows is full of these lol.. they must be pissed that other channels having highest ratings

however this writer is only imitating herself .. its very similar to her work ( woman of dignity ) which also had top actresses but the acting in my opinion is terrible and the pd was horrendous .. on top of the story

so since we know the acting will be ubeatable here.. we can also hope the female PD will be decent since we almost have no female directors in korea .

I can say that a ( woman vs a woman ) kdrama  that enjoyed in its time was women of the sun

"Lee Bo-young and Kim Seo-hyung, "Written by Mi-Kyung Baek, Looking for What is the Foundation of Women"

    optimize

Writer Baek Mi-kyung of'Mine' revealed the secret story of his writing.

TVN's new weekend drama'Mine' (playback Mi-kyung Baek/Director Na-jung Na), which will be broadcast during the first half of this year, is a drama that depicts the story of strong women who are free from the prejudice of the world and go to the real mine.

Writer Baek Mi-kyung, who wrote'Dignified Girl' and'Strong Woman Do Bong-soon', director Na-jeong who directed'Sam, My Way' and'Sam, My Way', and Lee Bo-young (as Seo Hee-soo) and Kim Seo-hyung (as Jeong Seo-hyun). It is a work that makes the hearts of drama fans thrill with a solid lineup.

In particular,'female' as the keyword that penetrates the work raises curiosity, which raises curiosity. Artist Baek Mi-kyung also introduced'Mine' as a "drama of women who visit them," and "the basis of the existence of a half-human woman of humanity is I was looking for something and writing it,” he said behind the scenes of the birth.

We are looking forward to seeing what kind of message we will deliver through the two protagonists who will lead the play and through the second daughter-in-law Seo Hee-soo (played by Bo-young Lee) and her first daughter-in-law Jeong Seo-hyun (played by Seo-hyung Kim).

Pre-reservation for Decaron M in progress

Seo Hee-soo, who has a happy family by keeping my color firmly against the prejudice of the conglomerate, who did not like him, and her husband's son as a child, and Jeong Seo-hyun of a cold persona who lives by keeping her dignity without worrying about a loveless marriage. To stimulate curiosity about what kind of cracks the two people with will face and what'my' they will be looking for.

Not only that, but I am looking forward to director Na-jung's unique direction that will capture the subtle emotional changes in these stories in a more delicate and sensational way. Writer Baek Mi-kyung also said, "Director Na-jung was also attracted to this script, so we became harmonious with each other."

    better translation

Baek Mi-kyung also introduced 'Mine' as a "drama of women who find themselves ," and " women as the half of humanity and that's what I wanted to write .

Seo Hee-soo, who keeps a happy family by treating her husbands son like her own child against the prejudice of her in laws
