Desperately missing SWL in action that I’m trying, again, to watch “Beautiful Reborn Flowers” (avail on Amazon Prime) and fast forwarding to his scenes only hahaha. He’s young and beautiful in that drama, especially admiring his sculpted perfect nose then.
I notice he has snaggle teeth on the lower jaw. Is it common or not in china /asia to have braces to correct it?
In case anyone take offense, I think he’s still absolutely gorgeous and love him regardless.
Btw, who else wish we can see Song Wei Long at the Celine event along with other Korean celebs? Perhaps in the near future, free from YZ, he will, for sure!

As much as I’ve enjoyed watching him in ‘Find Yourself’, “Go Ahead” sealed the deal and made me forever his fan.
It’s one of those rare drama that’s becoming a ‘classic’ and can be rewatched many times over.-

I have yet to observe SWL Instagram acct followers fluctuation ever since I followed him a few months back. It’s been only going up in number.
… and no idea how Weibo works but I do see the numbers go up and down there on SWL weibo acct … if he posts something it goes up, then it starts dropping each day if no activity.
In “Go Ahead”, Song Wei Long performed fantastically for the character Ling Xiao. I don’t think the other actor can pull the same “Ling Xiao” effect that SWL did, and that has nothing to do with acting prowess. There’s a reason for casting a certain actor with a certain image to fit a certain character role that would maximize the effectiveness of story telling and viewer experience. Period.
For any dish served there will be someone who doesn’t like it and will try to modify it back to their comfort zone, then what is the point of an argument trying to have all dishes look the same, taste the same and losing its unique “character”? What advancement does that do in the world of Art? if people can’t connect and enjoy a new dish, just state their opinion and leave it as that and stay in their comfort zone til they’re bored out of their mind. Mean while, I suppose there’s that factory operated by YZ to tap into the ready-to-eat safe zone market. I read that one of his favorite now has a drama abt older woman younger man. Again, Safe zone… boring, yawn!
Song Wei Long is so young and hasn’t reached his peak in acting yet and even so, he has delivered all his roles nicely, starting with Rong Zhi in Untouchable Lovers. SWL gives each character its own unique spirit that entirely separate one from another, true to how the author would pen it… and if you watch behind the screen, he doesn’t mix up his true nature into the character he plays. That’s impressive!
I hope all his fans from near and far can bravely and vocally supporting him and if we can only do our parts to nurture his talents, his best work is yet to come. Excitingly looking forward to his future.

Song Wei Long instagram account followers count is at 998,000+
He should be at the Million mark soon yippeee…With the re-broadcasting of Go Ahead, perhaps his Weibo account followers will increase as well. And I hope this time around people will appreciate the drama even better than the first time and no more of those nonsense comments abt the “sibblings” relationship. That has nothing to do with how well done this drama is, and more a reflection of differences in viewers’ cultures and perceptions. The controversy, if any, should be a good thing bc “Art” is meant to open up our minds to different point of views and if someone can’t handle the idea, this serves as a feedback so they and the rest of us know where their mindset is narrowing down to.

Song Wei Long certainly looks better than Timothee Chalamet. Pardon me for saying this. But Western Men lacks the "Fineness" or "Softness" Factor. And Song Wei Long is the "Cross" between Western and Asian Males.

This is so random, my apology, but wondering if any one out there also feel that the smoldering sensuality radiated by Song Wei Long is very similar to Timothée Chalamet (american actor) ? And of course no argument here that SWL has muuuuuuch better looking features (IMO) so it’s not the handsome appearance in discussion.
I’m talking about the ‘vibes’, the sultry energy, the vampire-ish gaze that draw you in and have you hypnotized, frozen-on-the-spot kind of attractiveness that I found very similar between the two actors.
.. or maybe I’m just missing Long Long and start seeing him everywhere?!? LMAO.

well, I hope SWL has someone backing him up against YZ.3 more years is a good time to focus on school and skills for SWL, luckily he has a whole life in front of him full of bright promises!!! Let’s consider this decade of trial as a ‘child’ actor, and SWL has accomplished heck of a lot in a really short time. It’s now crouching time for our handsome Dragon to prepare for the rest of his life!

last night/yesterday SWL uploaded on instagram picture of a plate of grilled shrimps. Looks like he’s telling fans he’s eating well and enjoying spicy foods. —> and his followers are now at 990k, another 1k since Thursday, YAY!!! Let’s go 1 Million!!!
@Prettysup @hush puppy Agreeing w you both, Im not a fan of the acting of FL in “Find Yourself” although I think she’s pretty and I like her as a dancer outside of the drama. I like her non-acting natural personality in the BTS videos more than that character she played
To be honest though, SWL acting in the first episode or two wasn’t drawing me in, despite his gorgeous looks. So to be fair, how the characters presented is a combined efforts of the actors and how the director wants it done.
anyhow I’m glad I came back and gave the series another try. As you watch it, You can see how SWL acting improved along in this drama (filmed in fall/winter 2018 when he was just 19) and I just love, and miss, his healthy handsome looks in the drama and the sunshine Yuan Song character he played, in contrast to Ling Xiao character. SWL may not do another drama of this concept so let’s enjoy it for him!! I wish he had done more dramas during this time frame 2018-2019 bc he was simply a stunning and absolutely beautiful Youth! Although He’s getting more gorgeous and becoming a brooding sexy handsome man now hahaha.
Hope he’s set free soon so his beauty can be captured on more films and dramas!!! *pray*

SWL Instagram account is growing by the thousands each week, prob will be reaching a million soon. That is quite awesome to me considering most followers are international fans from all over the world, and SWL only has one drama “Find Yourself” on Netflix. Recently, He (or his staff?) started to post the same pictures on Instagram at the same time as they’re posted on weibo.
SWL started to log into instagram again after Kido Ma (Ma Si Chao) posted a pic of them together on his Instagram, creating quite an excitement for us international fans who’s dying for SWL news.Do you know anything abt their friendship?

People who blindly follow an ideology concept are abuse victims themselves without realizing it. There are many ridiculous ideologies in Asia being used as basis for illogical arguments which is a complete waste of time and energy.Hope the law suit serves as a forewarning to future artists to stay away from this Yu Zheng guy who is already muddled in so many shameless acts.….

I was browsing TikTok when I came across this comment “Everyone looks down on SWL, Yet no one measures up to him”.
It may be exaggerating, And I don’t want to invite trouble for him by being too vocal, But that comment struck a chord in me.
Indeed, I often see people criticize WeiLong, For not having high educational qualifications, For being busy engaging in Brainless dating, For not being Career minded, For not showing progress, For being bad at acting and line delivery, And the list goes on….
As a fan who is actually almost old enough to be his mother, I’d like to say this to those who look down on him:
Even when he was only nine years old, He went alone to Shaolin to learn martial arts, How many of you have his courage and boldness? Life at Shaolin was harder than he thought, But still he persevered for a year. How many of you Have that kind of will power and grit?
At the age of 16, he entered showbiz to make a living and lighten the burden of his parents. How many of you are as sensible and responsible? There really aren’t that many teenagers nowadays Who are already breadwinner of an entire family.
At the age of 18, he suffered a whole year of insomnia due to cyber bullying, But he slowly walked out of that period of darkness. How many teenagers have the courage to withstand such stress? When he broke his nose (Resulting in a crooked nose bridge From certain angles) While filming without using stunt men And couldn’t breathe properly for a whole week, He insisted on returning to Continue filming due to tight schedule. How many teenagers can be as dedicated?
Thereafter, he decided to swallow his pride and used stunt men when required, so as not to drag the entire production team down. How many teenagers can be so considerate?

Yet he managed to walk out of it again, with poise and placidity, and resolutely expressed that he accepted both compliments and criticisms. He neither blamed others nor indulged in self-pity. He uttered no hurting word; Gave no excuses. How many of you can be as tough?
So what if he doesn’t have the paper qualifications? How many of you can measure up to his conscientiousness and determination? How many top student can have his kind of achievements? He always speak in a gentle and calm tone, And is always appropriate and tactful. He never went overboard, much like the characters he portrayed, Always so aptly done that you’d hardly find them repulsive. Not many can have his Gentleness and refinedness. Even fewer has the kind of scholarly aura he exudes, which landed him almost always in roles of top students or geniuses. I do not lack paper qualifications myself; I share the same alma mater as Ling Xiao after all.
I have also been in oversea study like Feng Shengiun, But I must say that possess Neither his tact, nor his scholarly aura, and much less his kind of achievements. In fact I am glad that by not being entrapped in the dogmatic kind of acting style, he‘s thus able to give a unique personal touch to the characters he portrayed. Some criticize that he couldn’t act, But bear in mind that he is the only actor with all 3 of his satellite tv dramas In the top 10 viewership ranking For his age group. Two of them, “go ahead” and “find yourself” especially, are still at the forefront of the ranking even after two years, And our immensely popular around the world. The dramas are still making their rounds among different TV channels. Is this an achievement that someone who can’t act can attain, and furthermore at the age of 20? Viewers can’t be blind right?
