    There has been something bugging me on Soo Chul character. I know Ji Soo is a cameo but hey since when does cameos attends the 1st script reading right ? If memoryserve me right he was there. Again pls correct me @maris1 @NileRose @thao_2512 @Tiggie2 @VIP_Cake @inshara2000 and others whom were with us from the beginning.

    Im doing much digging with his character.. our rela chart (providing there was no mistranslations) tho we werent given an offical one but one was indeed created based on the synopsis indicating that SC was HJ 1st love and plays and important role. 

    So im comng up with the conclusion that Jisoo might indeed stay longer in this drama...longer than we or myself expected of a typical 5-10 sec cameo. 

    What if SC did indeed had a road accident? Or amnesia? Because remember when he appeared it bugged me that he didnt remember SH nor had any emotion upon hearing her speak about HJ? And his reply to her was,"Do you know me?" And SH reply was  "No, no no"   Maybe she was embarrassed that he didnt remember her and Im looking too much into this? But one thing is for certain is that HJ and SC lost in contact and from SH it seems HJ would like to know that he is well. Its unusual for SC to not at least try to keep in touch with HJ right? He did fall for her and he last saw her looking sad from the lost of Granny no way would he have the heart to leave her alone after giving her a joyride. Something mustve happened to him for him to not keep in contact with her. Thats why im predicting amnesia and since HJ and JH are neurosurgeons it will be an area of expertise in handling with SC condition ( if he has one) so let me ask our med experts here in this thread @maplekist or whomever i think @NileRose too right? Can our neurologists help an amnesia patient? 

    What do u patients think? Am I over predicting?? Yah 1 week of waiting does wonders to the brain lolz. :sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

     

    Actually there was no mention about JS being cameo

    He was first cast as HJ's 1st love and most thought it's more like a guest role or cameo since it'd only last during her high school period.

    Guest roles and cameos do attend Script reading too, depends if they are interested or their roles are important. I have seen a few. 

    It's good for young actors like him to meet and know many people in the industry.

    Also JS has a bigger role in a drama after Doctors- Moon Lovers, I thought it's a reason why SBS cast him for the part and keep him around as well

    Reading the last 2 pages… I want to share what I know. 

    As Shinhye's long time fan, I stopped shipping her a long time ago but I’m opened for any possibility 

    It’s just we should have the correct information/ impression. So don't hate me :P

    1. Regarding to Paeksang, they all sat at the same table. Later almost at the end, everyone left after besides Shinhye and KRW. That’s why they sat together. I actually wished they could work together when I saw those pics, and my wish came true

    2. Shinhye is quite comfortable and close with most of her costars. That’s the reason she has many ships… It’s not the 1st time she put her head on her costar’s shoulder. She did w JGS, Hongki and LJS too… Can’t remember YH and LMH on top of my head rn but they were close too.. You can youtube the shipper MVs to get some idea lol and in my personal opinion most of the rumors about her and her costars aren’t true- considered how she is still friends with them until now. 

    3. Shinhye is close with YKS based on the Vapp on the Presscon day even they didn’t have much screen time together during Pinocchio. He is closer with LJS. It’s just the relationship between her/YKS is different with her/KRW. YKS is like Woob and Hongki to her… where KRW is her oppa- someone she admires and respects, which lead to my next point

    4. Shinhye said she is a fan of KRW. And it’s true. If I remember correctly she mentioned him twice in 2014. She praised his performance in Punch in Pino interview and also mentioned about him after watching GNB movie even LMH was the one that invited her. So to her he is someone she admire and can rely on… where most of her costars she consider her friend and usually don’t rely on them or even had to help them… since she is a sunbae when it comes to how long has she been working.

    5. In my observation, shinhye was tense and nervous in the beginning of the drama bc she is a fan and this is her 1st time working w a sunbae that she admires. You can see that   during the poster shooting and I thought KRW was messing around to make her relax. Now she is totally relax and can be herself around him

    I don't know why some of us worry about second lead when part of the drama description is  love of a life time between HJ and JH. ( This isn't Reply series lol)

    Also KRW is at his 2nd peak thanks to Doctors... where this is YKS's 2nd lead role

    It's good that our second leads get some love and popular too. It show the power of the drama as a whole. So please don't be too sensitive

    Well I don't see anything wrong with the kiss based on characters and context.

    The posture might look awkard intentionally or PD's fault  but everything else is fine

    Maybe you and some people expected too much based on their own fantasies

    it's not her responsibility that he has feeling for her for 13 years or looking for her everywhere. It's his choices  lol 

    Don't blame it on her or pressure her...

    If he isn't rushing her why would us???

    She will kiss him  and fall in love when she is  ready. If not he should be patient. 

    I mean the girl hasn't had any relationship and close her heart for her whole life  but only the little time she was with Grandma and him yet we expected her to change in a day or 2 because her 'teacher" harbor a crush on her for 13 years? How does it even make sense? 

    I want them to kiss too... but people needs to chill... and understand the characters

    Hancinema's reviewer is being too harsh. This is a romance medical drama and HJ has only started to succeed. I'm pretty sure HJ will have her ups and downs in the remaining 14 episodes. Men just don't get romance which is quite normal really.

     

    I'm sure the script was written by her and won the award... She has been trying to progress the drama since it won the award but couldn't until now. If not why would they give her the script to make this drama and not to original writer.

    I can see her writing style is a bit different here compared to her recent ones... But it's too early to say

     

    Hancinema' s reviews aren't always good tbh... I don't like their perceptive especially in this one. Like he expected Hyejung to be the same naughty girl like she was 13 yrs ago when they story is about her transformation. He was also harsh with JH in the prev ep too... 

    Anyways it's not positive I don't think we should share it here..

    I know I'm almost the only male in this thread (eventhough I wouldn't know why...) but we still exist and we love the women in Doctors!

     Don't worry I know many women has fallen for her too. I'm certain you aren't alone... Shinhye actually has many fanboys lol

    I'm also excited to see JH let himself fall crazy in love this time, the chemistry between KRW and PSH is so enjoyable to watch, I have a feeling HJ is more likely to punch JH than kiss him at the start of ep5 :lol: or something similar ... although DotS first "kiss" was ep5 if they're trying for something similar (sorry if I'm repeating anybody, there's so much of this thread to back read)

    This writer doesn't follow the usual order when it comes to skinship and kisses ( Can we get married and High Society) so we never know

    Just that right now I don't think HJ is ready for the kiss because she is way behind him in "love department"

    Quite handsome too.

    She never shy away from skinship, but of course it's more of the friendly- boyish kind- not flirty ones.

    That's why she has many ships, not only with her main leads but also 2nd or 3rd leads... ( Try to youtube her with her previous leading men like LJS, LMH, JGS JYH, KWB. LHK,,, etc if you want to see their interactions. If you are new to her you will see a different world :P ) 

    For LJS, everything aside, the guy loves skinship and has skinship with all his costars ( girl and guy), hence they had more skinship than her other costars.

    He had skinship with her even before they started in a drama together because they had a CF a year earlier . If you want to see, Youtube Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk at Wide News Ep785 ENG SUB 

    It just really depends on each costar that she adjusts to it... I do think he lead her better and was very gentle when they kissed so she was more at ease... Because believe me, Shinhye is comfortable and can kick all her costars asses behind the scene lol Just this time people get to see her kicking skill on broadcast lol . Of course she can't with KRW because he is a way older senior when she considers her other costars friends. 

    If KRW can lead her well we should have no problem... but I do think her guard is a bit higher since he is a senior too ( You know how serious seniority is in Korea)... Hence, he was the one that had to make her feel at ease in the beginning lol. So let's see

    Tbh Shinhye can kiss if the role asked her to... And if the directors want to show it... ( with a good leading-gentle partner of course)

    This is her 1st on screen and off screen kiss for Goong S when she was 17

     

    This is the collection of  kisses in Pinocchio from Dcut. The PD didn't include all because he was afraid it affect rating ( like parents don't want their children to watch)

     

    Most of her roles until now required the kiss to be innocent 1st kiss...  Heirs's was a mess because the PD didn't inform her about the kiss... So she shouldn't be the one to get blamed

    I don't think it has anything to do with DOTS

    When the news came out I did a bit of reseach ( with my friend help) and the writer had prepared for this for a few yrs (since the drama won the Script Award) and it was dropped from KBS way way back then...

    HMH did High Society with SBS last year so it's normal that SBS taking her next project and they were in talk since last year. They dropped the casting news at the end of December last year or January.... DOTS didn't air at that time 

    Both PSH, KRW and YKS are SBS babies hence the casting... while KBS is Korea Government/National Chanel so they have bigger scale and more financial support but I always like SBS dramas...

    Nah, i don't fast forward just because PSH appears. I'm not biased , just objective. And i'm only watching this one Korean drama right now. Besides,  that will mean i will miss a lot of KRW too....hahahahah....(Hint: I only fast forward for dramas like 'Oh My Venus' . )

     

    I'm sorry but this is such a joke lol.

    Heirs is her worst character to date  and got her so much hate  ( the writer didn't give her anything to do with her character besides crying and being dragged around yet people blamed it on her acting) while she has improved so much in Doctors . And I think most would agree with me whether in Korea or China or international fans by the reactions I'm seeing everyday.

    But of course you have your personal preference and "special" taste.

    Maybe you think you are objective but that doesn't mean you are right.-as you are definitely the minority. And if you are not aware it, the roles you hated are her first steps branching out from typical  Korean female lead - as Cinderella role like CES in Heirs

    You are just contradicting yourself.

    Anyway it's ok if you don't like her acting because I'm certain she can't just please EVERYONE

    If you don't like her role, you can skip this since she prob has the most screen time in this drama. 

    @andreanaing Why does her personal matter should be matter with you. I never understand why some fans think she should have a say in this kind of subject?

My favourite episodes so far are episode 1 and 3 as it really makes PSH shine so very much! the scenes where she is defensive and talking back to her dad and step mom and confronting SW's dad it reminds me of those Stairway to Heaven times... The yelling makes me think of that time...     As much as I like good friendships and bubbly scenes, I want a more serious drama for PSH for sure! I thought this drama would centre around KRW but I'm glad  it's still about Hye Jung and her goals in life. KRW and PSH have such good chemistry and I'm one of the many few who don't mind the student-teacher relationship.....  I enjoy the presence of KRW and...... yeah there's nothing in particular that I like just he's just good lol

    LSK I feel like this drama doesn't really give her much to work with but I respect her as an actress as well.... kind of gives me that WTF moment so as long as I'm getting mad she is doing her job LOL 

    Kyun Sang is just great as always rather than just a quiet vigilante brother, he has more lines and is in a working setting, most importantly, saving people and not killing them ;)  

    The minor characters that really stand out are Soon Hee and Ji Soo ;););) 

    EDIT: I also love Halmoni! and RIP :( P.S SW's Family is a pain the *******

     

    It's too early to say that about LSK.

    This writer usually wrote 2nd lead roles better and they tend to shine more  than the main ( like High Society) . Just wait... I'm sure they all have interesting roles and can shine

    Actually NB LOVES negativity so it's not a bad idea she doesn't post it  and  AKP does cover the drama. 

    I remember they had reviews last week. Not the best places to go anyways....
