thanks to yourasthma, we got the benefit watching Kim So Yeon's WinWin with engsub ... kekkekeke ..... yea ... KSY has been quiet
probably she's still selecting the scripts on dramas or movies which are offered to her
I'm sure she gets decent & great offers at par with her acting skills but yeah ... i can't wait for her next project ... i'm pretty bored here

, LBH's character suddenly forced a kiss on CJW's character in his CD storehow can i ever forget that powerful liplocking kiss
their chemistry was so intense
(i heard CJW's character was meant to be with Ryu Shi Won's character, but b/c of enourmous respond on LBH & CJW's pairing, the BD team decided to change the story ... true or not, i don't know, it was years ago)
now, LBH & KSY ... the history of LBH's intense chemistry was repeated again
i think LBH too felt it different with KSY
somehow i felt he was much closer to KSY than to KTH, his own co-lead
the night of Baeksang award (was it baeksang or KBS .. i forgot), after LBH's victory announcement LBH hugged KTH who sat next to him. I saw the way they hugged was awkward ... just like normal collegues
On the stage when LBH was receiving his award, he initiatively opened his arm toward KSY asking her to hug him (i thought ..aaawww, that is so sweet
) on the stage before the eyes of 1000+ audiences, people who watch the TV & cable (me), and later & now was downloaded on the internet ... able to accessed globally & unerased.And they hugged warmly, not awkwardky ...

July 17th seems so long
the storyline seems so much more appealing than The Road One
plus, I like Lee Tae Ran's acting

i wonder when SJS said PYH was his only friend, how did SSH take it
now, PYH whom he claimed to be his only friend has gone, I hope SJS,SSH and others will be closer & supporting one another. In this time of mourning, friends are the next thing most needed after family

Her chemistry w/ LBH is so beautiful :wub: , no word can't decribe it. They don't need BedScenes, kissing scenes nor anything else to make them burning hot, ,though her role is limited but her acting still made you feel hurt, happy, or sad, & her beauty is shining next to LBH.

how devastated they must have felt having their child to leave so early .. so young .. and still a bright future ahead of him ..
how regretful they must have felt as parents so helplessly have to let go their child before his time

Kim So Yeon in IRIS was AWESOME !!!!
Really !!!! When i first saw her acting in AAE, her acting skill was natural
(even though she was still very young at that time)
And now about 10 years later, her acting is even more solid than ever.
Thru her eyes, facial expression, body language ... and everything she showed on every scene, she made it as if it happened to us, the audience. We can see clearly her yearning & unconditional devotion. KTH might be the lead, but KSY owned IRIS.
Not to mention, she beated up people. She reminded me of Jennifer Gardner in ALIAS. It was so cool. You must watch at least the action part ... kekkeke
But, since i can't bring myself to finish IRIS (b/c the female lead, Kim Tae Hee, was like a liberty statue; and i found that was very annoying), i can't offer my recommendation

i can't believe he died in unthinkable way
why he chose to die ???
he should have taken care of his sick father who needs him the most in his critical time
they could have spent time together to have the last memories that he would cherish for the rest of his life and celebrate the life of his dad.
I am so sad for his family whom he left behind
My deepest condolences for his family.

because of k-drama, i first joined soompi in 2003 (if i'm not mistaken)
but i stopped (for personal-unrelated-to-soompi-reasons)
then my account was deleted (i think it was becaue the email problem, and i failed to take care of it)
Now that i have time, I join soompi again
From it was till now, soompi really evolved and got better.
When it comes to k-drama, i think soompi is the best meeting place to get info and discuss about the drama with other fellow soompiers
(i'm not into k-pop, so i'm not sure about the soompi k-pop's atmosphere)
For example:
The last k-drama I've finished, Prosecutor Princess (you can see my signature) has already ended for over than a month
but the soompi's PP thread is active just like it was aired
It's full of people who can't move on to other drama just yet
We've been sharing our addiction and "insanity for not able to move one to other dramas just yet"
In other words, we're helping & comforting each other as we're kinda sad that the drama was already over, but we're still so hang on it.
(*bites lips* i sound so much like there's somebody died .. huh??
)My point is:
from k-drama addict's point of view, soompi is the only & best meeting place for non-korean speakers
(in the world, if i may say)
i checked other sites, but they don't have complete info as soompi does
They are not as eye-friendly as soompi
As Soomp! has stated, soompi has done upgrades, which i like
(though i don't know if it's necessary or not .. my computer knowledge is still at ice-age era)
Upgrades mean soompi is trying to improve itself to be an even better meeting place for us, soompier.
It may be inconvenient for us for a while, but i think we must give soompi some time to resolve the problem
and give other soompiers some time to do whatever they want: whether summer holiday, bored/frustrated with soompi, etc etc ...
In the mean time, we can always support soompi by daily swarming soompi and not giving up.
we can also donate, if we have extra money ... just to show some appreciation for the great meeting place
Perhaps 3-7 years from now, we can even have Virtual Soompi's cafe (sponsored by Coffee Beans .. hehe .. yummy)
where we can virtually zip our coffee while discussing about k-pop, k-drama or whatever

i'm sure it left the most impression on Kim So Yeon & Lee Byung Hun
my guess KSY came to the funeral wake, but not together with other stars
most vod were only like 3minutes that were probably compressed from the first 12 hours after the news break out whereas the funeral wake lasted for 3 days (if i'm not mistaken). On top of that, most hallyu stars came during the 1st day of the wake.
Song Yun Ah and her hubby came (i knew i saw their pictures, but i can't recall from which websites)
Ji Sung also came (i also can't recall where i saw his picture)
i'm sure many other Korean stars who came to PYH's funeral wakes didn't have their pictures taken
plus, during this kind of time, celebrities who usually/always have their make-ups on their faces 24/7, suddenly pictured with their bare faces(or limited make-ups), dark-lensed eyeglases & swollen eyes
I have a hard time recognizing who's who and who's that
... they almost looked the same without make-ups :blink:
