More on Interview 2: Kim So Yeon
KSY said that she wants to play a character like Yoon Hye Rin (Go Hyun Jung's character) in Sandglass. She's been a fan of Go Hyun Jung ever since her debut. At one time, when KSY was filming a drama, she meet GHJ. KSY said she was very nervous, and said hello to GHJ, and told GHJ that she's a fan of hers. KSY said GHJ is really glowing with luster. KSY wants to successfully play a character like Hye Rin in Sandglass!
She also said she's not dating anyone/not in love with anyone is because that she doesn't feel lonely. Then she jokes that's probably her biggest obstacle in love! (laughs)

"Worried about age? It is a gift"
Actress Kim So Yeon born in 1980, is already 30 (31 in Korea) this year. According to the former child-actress, age to her is a gift for the characters to mature. By growing up, actors can learn to act their age (i.e the characters they play).
Love? Lonely?
Strange but sweet, Kim So Yeon explains that LOVE is like "traffic accidents". You wouldn't know when or how it's going to happen until you're hit.
Eager to continue acting
Actors are humans and vice-versa. They all have the same feelings and tendencies. Kim So Yeon stated, "every character is a little like me, and a little bit different from me."
This hardworking actress is really addicted to acting like never before and wanted to present various characters to her fans. According to So Yeon, the best acting teacher is the people living in reality.. life itself.
I love how she said that "love is like traffic accidents. You wouldn't know when or how it's going to happen until you're hit."
Don't know if any of you are following Queen of Reversals or not (I'm not, but I'm planning to watch the drama when I've got some spare time). Anyways, I read that KSY's name was mentioned in Ep 17 around 31 minutes when Kim Nam Joo's character was with Park Shi Hoo's character in a family entertainment center. Kim Nam Joo's character was playing a shooting game, she imagined the people in the game were her enemies and after the game was over she got a pretty high score and PSH's character complimented her. Then KNJ's character pointed the gun at PSH's character and said
"I'm like KSY's character in IRIS, right?" or "I look like KSY's character in IRIS, don't I?"

Ha Ji-won revisits Damo for Secret Garden

Ha Ji-won finds herself back in Joseon-era costume for the upcoming episode of her current rom-com series Secret Garden, which airs this weekend. Ha is pictured above holding a script titled “Are You In Pain? So Am I,” which I presume is the new movie production that Ra-im, her stuntwoman character, finds herself working on.
The show has been delighting fans not just for its humor and the crackling chemistry between Ha and co-star Hyun Bin, but also the little pop-culture references sprinkled throughout the episodes, which include this brief transformation: Ha played a Joseon-era policewoman in the much-loved 2003 drama Damo, which was one of her most memorable early performances.
In fact, a production source explains that her character in this movie-within-the-drama actually IS Damo’s Chae-ok, not just a character who happens to look the same.
It’s been seven years since she won viewers over as Damo’s Chae-ok, but the costuming’s pretty spot-on, no?
Ha Ji-won said, “Re-encountering Chae-ok after such a long time is both a thrilling and happy thing. Because Damo was a drama that was very important in bringing me to this point, Chae-ok is especially dear to me. To be able to act as Chae-ok through Secret Garden brings back old memories.”
Secret Garden has been enjoying 20% ratings and will feature this scene in its 10th episode, which airs on Sunday.

A press conference for "Secret Garden" was held on December 8 in Yeonju, Gyeonggi-do, in a setting familiar to all "Secret Garden" fans: the opulent modern home belonging (in the drama, at least) to department store owner Kim Joo Won (played by Hyun Bin) and his nemesis/cousin, Hallyu star Oska (Yoon Sang Hyun).
In real life, the house actually belongs to the cosmetic and health food brand Maiim. The whole area (which in the drama is said to belong to Kim Joo Won) is called the Maiim Vision Village. It is an environmentally-friendly park where the indoors and outdoors are balanced harmoniously. Hallyu fans may also recognize the house as being Bae Yong Joon's vacation home in "Winter Sonata".
The three stars, Ha Ji Won, Hyun Bin, and Yoon Sang Hyun, also appeared at the press conference, posing in the outdoors for photos.
