    As KJH said it doesnt matter. Feeling a little bit like BH in the end of his story arc in this drama.  Had a good time laughing here and there . That's it it doesn't matter more than that.

    You matter, so be all well.

    Going to my back-to-my body and mind self experience XD. Endlessly rewriting the story plot for BH/CJ is toxic and waisting my creativity.

    Also happy that I will never meet someone who could have feelings for me, only through his "perspective". For Loving is empathie, going for who the one you cherish is trully/fully all about forgeting a bit of who you are, to let enter the one you cherrish inside. Way deep, way beyong yourself, way profoundly dipper than your selfish perspective.

    Even for a macho Joseon King. He have way to learn yet :).

    At the end he didnt make me laugh at all :)  (NB: Not actors fault, they were perfect).

    Well, well well...if I was BongHwan and at that intense moment I saw this:

    I wouldn't just laugh....maybe in the first seconds of emotions going out. But I would surely, AFTER all I've been through....ended to cry an endless lake of sorrow and heartbreaking...

     

    Loved so much the male/female swaping, the open minded and reaserchfull part of characters that were finding each other whaterever it takes. It seemed complex and intrigiging.

    But, it ended commonly, comfortable. Grey as the sky Bonghwan is facing alone in Seoul.

    I think he is just ready for a psycho analysis now.

    Because the clown is not CJ. The clown of this story is BH.

    And the one really drowned deep in lake is SB.

    I just don’t get how these women remain  pregnant and give birth to healthy babies after all this time . 
     

    Is the some supernatural force at play ?

     

    No it's not supernatural ;) I have 3 kids and have always been sport mummy :D...To enlight your question, they have been many scandals in some old (50/70's) Olympic games (probably you can dig further in internet web for the matter), when few nations (like some european East countries did, one of them even shared it in interviews like  Olga Kovalenko) => made their feminine champions pregnant, just because the hormones production was by then on top level......

    When that came to light, it was quite a huge scandal, because of the amount of feminine athletes that where purposly made pregnant....Now its condamned as dopage, and you are eliminated of competition...

     

    But even from my 3 pregnacy , I could do very much of anything very athletic or stressfull , and was by the way encouraged so by my doctors (they said the baby is forcefully tied to you and it begun to get dangerous for both heath only after 4th month, than also the belly goes on bigger size with the baby growing and becoming more fragile)....

     

    So i'm not shocked at all seing her at her high and jumping, horse riding etc etc, her belly and she/he is not shown as an advanced pregnacy ( 5-9 month).

    We where shown that Soyong wanted to die. And...Bong Hwan desperatly to live. Than, they fusioned as one. As a whole one.

    SYong echoes herself in BHwang and makes him a better man. A man in love. Was ever Bong Hwan truly in love before that experience? Experience of a woman's soul sharing his body. Not only a body to body experience. It is through her prisme of feelings that he with time came to change, adapt. Love. Not only selfishly desire.

    This ep. tiltle could for me just point JBH accepting and realising that Soyong soul whispering to him is left (she have let it go by drawning in the bottom of the lake). And that he is now alone in himself. 

     

    From that point he is left with a very important decision to make!. To quote @Raffles:

    Stay in "Oz" with Cheol, the baby, lady Choi etc... Or, return to his "Kanzas" with fresh start and knowing his antagonist there (Han) is probably no more...

    If he choose this it would mean for all people in Joseon he cares about now, to just find his body somewhere again dead.

    He would surely have learned a lot, but it would be quite selfish again. And loveless too.

    - So,this last choice would be more for a dramatic ending.

     

    Of course the title could even be just a missleading one, and that would not be the first (remember "The woman who have to die" , it was all about little girl Dam at the end).

    It could tell us So yong final resiliance to JBH/S.Bong. But, I dont think so, because the main character is Mr.Queen. He is the lead. Not Soyong. Also it could be some poetry written part of some message lefted, just a push up for one of them to react/interact...

     

    Than as @aislingreminded us, JBH in "Kanzas" is in vegetative state.

    OK! ....A cook is a vegetable, thats funny dont you think so!:joy: ...He have one last thing to do.

    He have to LET It GO!. Embrace his new life line he got the opportunity to get. Through Soyongs kiss/breath/life.

    Say goodbye to who he WAS, Hello to who he IS.

     

    :shaq: oh yeah! (and for the tricky interview part in ep.1 I would say it happened before he will choose to embrace his fully him...Sobong in Joseon with all love and happy life. )

     

    Lets enjoy the ending of this show now. And never look again on ducks as we did before :D

    Pregnant women aren’t that fragile. Some women don’t start showing until 4-5 months into pregnancy.

     

    I usually hate the separation trope in k-dramas but I think it’s cleverly done here. So Bong still hasn’t accepted what she’s  truly feeling for Cheoljong, so this is going to be a wake-up call for her. She’ll come to realise it’s not just hormones and attraction, but true love.

     

    I expect them to reunite by the end of episode 18. They wouldn’t separate them for the whole episode 18, right? 

    Very right! Even pregnant you fell very sportive :D  At least the first six month...you even have such a hormone up that you are not only hungry for food ...*caugh caugh* :innocent:..........

I just wish to have a last goodbye scene with so much joy that whenever i'll be re-thinking of it, it will give me sparks of hope in our human goodsides ;) as R.Louis Stevenson said " Find out where joy resides, and give it a voice far beyong singing. For to miss joy, is to miss all..."

    Well it takes at least 3/4 months to be evident.... ;) and even so , with their traditional outfit you nearly could cheat on not being pregnant untill the end...

    Hello new here! Well I think i've read every single thread in this topic :D 

    So....THANK You! I enjoy all your thoughts, all of them! :D...Please dont stop! hahaha I was starting to get worrying again about how this faboulous show is gonna end...but reading you, just made laugh: bravo :p! We should not forget that it's a comedy genre after all, and that the staff wanted to entertain first (not making us sad feeling).

    ps: sorry for my english its not my native ;).

     

    I have few thoughts to share^^:  In the opening scenery we see two moons becoming one up Cheol's figure, and also the last image show our queen without visage (face). Her face ARE the 2 moons...(few butterflies are there too, i guess for the butterfly effect SoBong created with the eunuque, but also Soyong before her, when she reaches for Jang Bong and not leting go her own soul..).

     

    Than, again, wondering about all of the water element. Its everywhere: pool,lake, well, blind woman write with water too...that is a very motherlike symbol, also an life symbol, like motherhood and pool of ever living or youth....renewals, revivals etc...Just turning this into my head and wandering what are the writers intentions...Also with this questioning, could it be related to queen dowager shamanic world? (they ment to get out BonHwang soul with the shaman)...

     

    Hey and could you tell me please aven in pm if no possible otherwise, if the 10 minutes bonuses are going to be visible on the usual way, for those like me who are to far away from Korea? (it's only possible for me to wait the sub versions elsewhere than on tv... ;) ).
