I liked both chapters but I liked chapter 2 more then chapter 3? Is this a continuity where you pick up things from where it ended?

    - Jo Young - MSA part was good

    - LG-JTE moments were good

    - The JTR moment was strange how did she get there?

    - The fight scenes were also good

    - The JTR moment was strange how did she get there? oops, overlooked that part, did some editing

    thanks for highlighting!

    Chapter 3

    The obelisk illuminated in red.

Lee Gon stepped out of the portal.

Standing a few meters away from the obelisk, Jeong Tae Eul's beautiful face emitted excitement and happiness. She ran up to Lee Gon, threw her arms around him with joy, and held him tightly. "The weekend is finally here," she exclaimed with excitement.

Amused with her childlike behavior like he always does, Lee Gon laughed and returned her hug. "I missed you too," he responded with a grin. He held on to her left hand and walked her back to the obelisk.

"I told my father that I will be out of town the whole weekend," Jeong Tae Eul said delighted smile.

"Excellent. I have sent Yeong and Seung Ah away for the weekend so there should not be anyone disturbing us," Lee Gon assured her.

Jeong Tae Eul nodded smilingly. "Would be nice to just spend time at your place eating, watch movies and watch dawn break," she said happily.

As Jeong Tae Eul walked along the long trail inside the portal, a thousand thoughts started running through her mind. "Is he going to propose to me romantically at the palace? If he does, what am I going to do? I know I can't live without him...but can I just leave everything in my world and be with him?" she asked herself worriedly. The more she thought about it the more nervous she became.

Lee Gon felt Jeong Tae Eul's hand turned icy. He remained silent and continued walking her to their destination. "She must be worried that I will propose to her in the palace and not sure how to react to it," he thought with a grin.

Upon entering the Kingdom of Korea, Lee Gon held on to Jeong Tae Eul's hand as they walked along the narrow and quiet walkway at the bamboo groove. "You have been quiet ever since we entered the portal. Stop thinking too much and enjoy the weekend here with me," Lee Gon whispered in Jeong Tae Eul's ear.

Jeong Tae Eul frowned at him. "Who said I am thinking too much? It is the cold weather that is making me feel unease," she rebutted.

Lee Gon grinned. "Alright. I will cook you something warm for supper then. I have soju and beer in the palace fridge too," he said.

Jeong Tae Eul's eyes beamed, smiling ear to ear. "Okay! You do the cooking and I will make the MSD!" she exclaimed with joy.

Upon exiting the bamboo groove, the couple took a stroll along the quiet street with Lee Gon leading the way. Jeong Tae Eul looked up at the twinkling stars above her in silence, still pondering about things without realizing where they were going.

After walking for a long period of time, Lee Gon raised his hand and ruffled her hair. "Stop thinking too much and worry about things that has not happen," he teased.

Shocked, Jeong Tae Eul looked at him with her mouth wide open. "Yaaa, you do know that its my hair that makes me pretty. How could you..." she uttered annoyingly, smacking Lee Gon in the back with her right hand.

Just as Jeong Tae Eul watched Lee Gon used his fingers to sort out her messy hair, she noticed that they are not anywhere near the palace. There were shops at the surrounding area. "How come we are here?" she asked confusingly.

Lee Gon laughed. "You must never over think when you are travelling. If I was a kidnapper you would be in grave danger," he said teasingly.

Suddenly, three loud gunshots broke the silence of the night.

Both Lee Gon and Jeong Tae Eul simultaneously bent their knees and let out a cry of shock

Lee Gon took a quick scan the area. "The gunshots are coming from that side," he said, pointing toward a row of shops up ahead of them.

"What are we going to do now? Call the royal guards to come will expose my identity to them..." Jeong Tae Eul groaned nervously.

    Two more gunshots went off.

Lee Gon held on to Jeong Tae Eul's hand. "Perhaps this is one of those things they we may have skipped in the past, fighting crime together," he blurted with a mischievous grin.

Jeong Tae Eul let out a soft laughter. "Let's do it."

The couple sneaked their way toward the direction of the gunshots. After moving 100 meters, they spotted a group of men in black suits armed with guns, taking cover behind three different vehicles, shooting at two other people taking cover behind a van across the road. Among the two people one was a male and the other a female.

Jeong Tae Eul watched with her eyes wide open in shock. "It's hyungnim!" she exclaimed, catching a glimpse of the male's face. The male was indeed her ex colleague Kang Hyeon Min.

Lee Gon closed his eyes and sighed annoyingly. "What is he doing here in the late night? I should behead him for interrupting us while we are dating," he insisted.

"We have to help him! He is outnumbered! The person with him may have been injured" Jeong Tae Eul insisted. The female crouching next to Kang Hyeon Min with her face covered by him had indeed remained still every since the couple arrived.

Lee Gon shook his head with another sigh. "You are asking you boyfriend to save another man's life without taking into consideration of your boyfriend's feelings," he grumbled.

"We are talking about someone's life here! I thought you want us to fight crime together!" Jeong Tae Eul retorted.

    "Fine!"

The three men in black suits hiding behind a sedan took turns to shoot at Kang Hyeon Min and the female with him.

Lee Gon flung himself toward them, grabbed two of them by the head, smashed their faces against the sedan side window forcefully, forcing them to drop their handguns to the ground, as they fell unconscious.

Jeong Tae Eul jumped onto the third man from behind, struck the back of the head with her elbow and knocked him unconscious. She reached for the handgun which he had dropped to the ground.

Two other men hiding behind another sedan next to them raised their handguns, pointed it at the couple, and started shooting.

The quick Lee Gon held one of the unconscious man in front of him, rushed in front of Jeong Tae Eul and used the unconscious man to shield the bullets from the front. The bullets struck the unconscious man's chest and head.

Lee Gon and Jeong Tael Eul returned fire and shot the two men on the head. The speed of their hands and the accuracy of their shooting were exquisite.

Kang Hyeon Min popped his head out as he watched the couple take out his targets in surprise. He recognized Lee Gon, the king of his country right away. "Pheya? Who is the other woman with him? She looks exactly like Koo Seo Gyeong!" he uttered in disbelief as he looked at the unconscious Koo Seo Gyeong next to him.

Lee Gon and Jeong Tae Eul walked over to Kang Hyeon Min.

Kang Hyeon Min bowed at Lee Gon and subsequently held out his police ID. "I'm detective Kang Hyeon Min from the Serious Crime Unit 3, pheya. My partner and I were trying tailing these gangsters and we got detected by them.Thank you for risking your own safety to help us," he said, appreciatively, taking another quick glimpse at Jeong Tae Eul, still in disbelief.

"Hyungnim is still a police detective in this world. I guess he is fated to be a law enforcer," Jeong Tae Eul thought. She jumped in shock as she saw the unconscious female. "Lun..."

Lee Gon hurriedly cut in and said in excitement. "Could she be Jeong Tae Ra the long lost twin sister that you mentioned?" The name Jeong Tae Ra just popped into his mind as he remembered her as being amusing.

"Jeong Tae Ra?" Jeong Tae Eul and Kang Hyeon Min uttered in shock simultaneously.

Jeong Tae Eul stared at Lee Gon blankly for a few seconds before she grasped his meaning. Deciding to go with his flow so that things would not get worst, she ran over to the unconscious Koo Seo Gyeong to check on her injury.

The left side of her stomach was bleeding, it was a gun wound. She placed her finger at Koo Seo Gyeong's neck and felt the pulse in the arteries of her neck. "She is still alive," she thought.

"Dongsaeng," she called out as she shook Koo Seo Gyeong by the arm, trying to wake her.

Lee Gon reached for his mobile phone. "We have a few people with gunshot wound in Gwangan dong. Please send the paramedics at once," he said on the mobile phone.

  3. Chapter 2

Lee Gon stood at the long corridor by the pond. He gazed up at the dark sky twinkling with stars in deep thoughts.

Jo Yeong walked up to Lee Gon with a plastic folder in his hand. "Pheya, this is the information which you wanted," he said in his low and unemotional tone as he handed the plastic folder to Lee Gon.

Lee Gon flipped the plastic folder open and read the contents. There was a photo of a woman who looked exactly like Jeong Tae Eul on the top left of the page. "Koo Seo Gyeong? She has a new name and she is now a police detective instead of a thief? I guess her fate changed. Brilliant!," he thought pleasingly, flashing a smile across his face.

Jo Yeong noticed the devious smile on Lee Gon's face. He instantly knew that the king was up to something no good. "Pheya,  you are not planning to switch her identity with Jeong Tae Eul are you?" he asked with a worried countenance.

Lee Gon closed the plastic folder and held it behind his back. He leaned close toward Jo Yeong, looked him in the eye sternly. "Yeong-ah, you are truly the worm in my stomach. If I ever retire would you still follow me wherever I go?" he asked in a cheeky tone of voice.

Feeling awkward, Jo Yeong leaned backward to keep the distance between himself and Lee Gon. "Pheya, we have to stop being like this..." he said with a sigh, as he took a quick glance at the area to ensure no one else was around.

"Captain Jo, is there a problem? " Lee Gon asked tenderly, giving Jo Yeong goosebumps.

"If Seung-ah see us like this she may think that there is something between us," Jo Yeong blurted out unintentionally.

Lee Gon pulled away from Jo Yeong. He looked at Jo Yeong with amusement. "So the melodrama between you and Seung-ah is true. I was telling Tae Eul that you guys were probably just close colleagues," he sighed, pretending to look disappointed.

Jo Yeong raised his eyebrows  in surprise. "Jeong Tae Eul knows about this too?" he asked worriedly.

Lee Gon nodded. "You can't deceive the eyes of a detective. And I thought you would never hide any secrets from me. Yeong-ah, I am sad and disappointed," he said, looking at him disappointingly.

Jo Yeong stared at Lee Gon blankly, unable to find words to respond to his king.

Upon seeing Jo Yeong's shocked look at this revelation, Lee Gon burst out laughing. "I was only joking with you," he said. He patted Jo Yeong's shoulder, and continued, "Finally the rumors in the palace that we are lovers  comes to an end."

Jo Yeong's countenance turned concerned. "What about you pheya? Everyone is looking forward to you continuing the royal bloodline," he murmured.

Lee Gon looked toward the pond with a smile. "I have Tae Eul." Recalling that could not Jo Yeong accept his relationship with Jeong Tae Eul, he turned his gaze at Jo Yeong. "Yeong-ah, I have decided that I will marry her at all cost, even if I have to relinquish my position as the king," he said with affirmation.

Jo Yeong gave Lee Gon a disapproving look. "Pheya, you must reconsider your decision. We cannot allow the nation to go without a ruler. Give me the order and I will proceed to switch her identity with Koo Seo Gyeong ," he responded as he bowed at Lee Gon.

Lee Gon shook his head. "Do not do anything yet. I am sure Tae Eul would never want us to disrupt Koo Seo Gyeong's life. I will think of a solution over the next few days. Do a thorough background check on Koo Seo Gyeong, I want to know who are her family members now. There must be no disruption between the two worlds" he instructed with a commanding tone of voice.

    Jo Yeong bowed.

"Now back to Seung-ah, when are you guys going to tie the not? Eun Sup and Na Ri are already married," Lee Gon asked with a grin.

"Pheya, I have some other urgent matters to attend to," Jo Yeong said, ignoring Lee Gon's question. Giving Lee Gon another bow, he turned around and walked away hurriedly.

"Hey, Yeong-ah you have never kept any secrets from me remember? I will help you organize a grand wedding and bring Eun Sup over to attend the ceremony!" he said out loud teasing Jo Yeong with joy.

Walking toward the passage way, Jo Yeong shook his head in agitation, reminding himself that it would be treason to strangle his king.

"Koo Seo Gyeong and Kang Hyeon min are stationed at the same work place, how interesting. Looks god has planned for him to be with someone who resembles Tae Eul, although I am certain that their personalities would differ. There can only be one Jeong Tae Eul in this whole universe," Lee Gon muttered as he glanced through the pages attached to the plastic folder.

All of a sudden , a thought came to his mind. "Long lost twin sisters...re encountering in the Kingdom of Korea..." he murmured, as he smiled happily. "Alternate plan would be that I handover the throne to Sejin."

Pleased with his plans, Lee Gon walked along the corridor headed toward his study room. "I will decide which plan to execute once Yeong come back to me on Koo Seo Gyeong's background," he thought with a grin.

JTE was still in the CCTV room and in his palace so she crossed over few times after the reset timeline. The king seemed as if he was mourning over Prince Buyeong because I believe he died otherwise he wouldn't have travelled back to see him and get nostalgic

Yeah kinda make sense. I was wondering too how come he had to bring JTE back to 2000 just to see the uncle...i thought maybe he was afraid of the complications if he intro JTE to the uncle during present time...

  5. Hi all, just did some changes to chpt 1 - will post it here if no one minds...if its not okay let me know will delete it

    Chapter 1

The sun rose from behind the hills, throwing a red glare over the sky.

Inside the king's bedroom, Lee Gon turned his head on the pillow toward Jeong Tae Eul, watching her sleep, admiring her face as if he could never see enough of it.

As Jeong Tae Eul yawned and rubbed her eyes, gradually waking up she noticed Lee Gon looking at her. Happy that he was the first person she saw in the morning, she gave him a sweet smile and kissed him on the cheek.

"Good morning. You are up early," she said.

"As a matter of fact, I stayed up all night just to watch you sleep. I have to say that you are beautiful even when you are asleep," he said charmingly.

Barely awake and unimpressed with his flattery, Jeong Tae Eul responded with an emotionless countenance. She pulled over the blanket to cover her naked body and sat up. "You should prepare breakfast for me while waiting for me to wake up," she said as she climbed out of the bed.

Displeased, Lee Gon scorned at her and said sarcastically, "I took the trouble to travel back to 1945 to pay Song Jong Hye a large sum of money for her and Lee Ji Hun to go abroad so that we can spend more time here in our current period. Is this how you repay my kindness?"

Jeong Tae Eul wore the robe lying on a couch. "Rameon for breakfast? You know that I can't cook as well as you," she said a grin.

"Ramyeon would be good. In fact, I would eat anything you cook. Are you going to put on your police uniform while preparing breakfast for me? Would love to see you cook for me in your uniform," Lee Gon said mischievously.

Annoyed with his teasing, Jeong Tae Eul responded coldly, "Maybe next time."

    Minutes later...

Lee Gon stepped out of the bedroom. He caught a savory scent that came from the kitchen. "She must be doing another mixing in the kitchen," he said with a grin. He walked into the kitchen and saw Jeong Tae Eul wearing a pale blue floral dress which he bought for her recently.

Jeong Tae Eul gave him a sweet grin as she filled a bowl with ramyeon.

Lee Gon's eyes widen slightly as admired Jeong Tae Eul's beauty. "You got to admit that I have good taste. You look gorgeous in the dress," he complimented.

Jeong Tae Eul responded with a smirk. "I am telling you that you are not the only one who looks good in anything," she responded cheekily.

Lee Gon returned the smirk. "Perfect! I guess the people of Kingdom of Korea is so fortunate to have such a perfect couple as their king and queen," he said pleasingly. He sat down at the table waiting to be served.

Jeong Tae Eul placed the bowl of ramyeon in front of him as she sat in front of him.

"Where is yours?" Lee Gon asked anxiously.

Jeong Tae Eul used the chopsticks to lift the noodles to and guided it  to Lee Gon's mouth. "I have decided to share it with you," she said, smiling at him.

Delighted, Lee Gon nodded and said, "That is a great idea. We have seen a lot of couples in love dramas sharing their food. Would be great we try it ourselves." He opened his mouth as he watched Jeong Tae Eul gently placed the noodles into his mouth.

"Does it taste good?" Jeong Tae Eul asked.

Lee Gon nodded as he munched the noodles in his mouth. "Is this a new flavor? I have never eaten this flavor in my world?" he asked.

"Cheese ramyeon! Eun Sup bought a pack for me last week and said that it was really tasty. So I decided to share it with you," Jeong Tae Eul replied with a smile, pleased to be sharing good food with the man she loved tirelessly.

"Ah, my Republic of Korea Unbreakable Sword, Eun Sup. We still owe him a meal for helping me get an ID here," Lee Gon said.

Jeong Tae Eul frowned at him. "It was my idea of telling him that you are a defector from the north. Otherwise he would have never gone his way out to help you get an ID done. If someone from the NIS finds out about it he is going get into trouble," she insisted.

Lee Gon laughed. "Yes my future queen, your intelligence has certain reached a new level. You must thank me for being around you helping you with that," he said teasingly.

Jeong Tae Eul snorted annoyingly. "As if that is true. I thought about that after watching Crash Landing On You. I should thank the script writer!" she retorted.

"So should we have our wedding here in your world?" Lee Gon asked, deciding to change to a more serious topic, a topic which he had been pondering for a long time.

Startled, Jeong Tae Eul turned silent for a minute. "Wedding? Are you just going to propose to me over a bowl of ramyeon which I cooked for you? Mister, you have to be more sincere with things like that!" she snapped.

Lee Gon concurred in silence. "How could a king not do something romantic to propose to his future queen," he thought. "Fine. I will propose to you another time," he said minutes later.

Worried and at the same time excited, Jeong Tae Eul asked, "Are you serious? Let's say we get married, are we going to live here? You know I can't leave my father alone although I would not mind going around shopping without having to work. And what about Luna? She lives in your world. Imagine how would she react when she sees her queen looking exactly like her? What about Jo Yeong? He would object our marriage..."

Lee Gon abruptly stood up, leaned toward Jeong Tae Eul, and kissed her on the lips.

Shocked, Jeong Tae Eul jumped up from her seat and gasped in surprise. "Are you trying to make me keep quiet again?" she asked.

"Precisely. Let me do all the thinking next week. A man should be the one who helps his woman to solve all her worries," Lee Gon responded confidently.
