    No, that is NOT what I am saying.

     

    I clearly said that to me it appears he wants to explore other types of projects such as producing and directing. 

     

    He’s been showing us what he’s been doing in his vlogs and IG posts the past year. Seems like he’s been working hard to me (within the confines and restrictions of the pandemic). He’s been actively putting content out there. It’s just a different type of content because it’s not the Kdramas that we are used to seeing from him.

    Am I the only one that thinks he has been communicating what he wants to do to his fans? I thought his IG posts and vlogs implied this? If he hasn’t announced he is taking a break or retiring, isn’t it implied he’s still active?

     

    To me it looks like a major focus and priority right now is Lee Min Ho Films. That statement hasn’t been blatantly said by him anywhere I don’t think, but to me everything he’s been doing the last little while implies this. And if I’m correct on this, then we will likely see more content from him but he may be less in front of the camera and more behind the camera…

     

    At the end of the day, if he’s going to take a break or get married and have kids or retire, I’m 1000000% sure he will tell his fans. But if he doesn’t announce anything then I’m going to continue believing he is strategically picking what projects he wants to do, not just to satisfy his fans but also his own wants and needs.

    I can definitely understand why many fans would like to see him in more projects and of course at an increased frequency.

     

    However, there could be many reasons why LMH is going at the pace is he going at. Maybe the scripts he’s getting do not appeal to him. As an established actor/celebrity, maybe he’s waiting to find a role that is not only different but one that also challenges him as an actor. Although Pachinko is not out yet, the role he’s playing does sound a bit different than any role he seemed to have played before.

     

    Honestly, when I take a step back and look at what he’s been doing recently, especially with his movie vlog and the project with Lee Seung-Gi… I feel like he wants to explore doing things other than acting like producing or directing. I also feel like he wants to go out and live his life and have fun because he can without really having to worry about needing to work to put food on the table or a roof over his head.

     

    As much as I want to see him in more shows, I want him to do what makes himself happy and will support whatever project he works on. I can only imagine the pressure and stress a celebrity has where everyone is watching and waiting for your next move.

    I think someone may have mentioned this earlier on in the thread but I feel like the timing of all the posts are more than just a coincidence.

     

    KGE and the photographer both posted on May 21st pictures from a shoot/shoots they did for her.

     

    LMH posts pictures with that same photographer and tagging him one week ago from today (My IG doesn’t say the exact date right now for some reason).

     

    Today KGE posts and tags the same photographer.

     

    The stylist that was in LMH’s photo also posted some of the same photos with the caption “Shooting the 2021 Fall/Winter collection”… Not Chanel which was what KGE was shooting but I still can’t help but feel the timing of everything is suspect. Lol Or is this just wishful thinking? :crazily:

    Now moving on to KGE's photos, gosh those are the most exposure we get from her in recent times. Doesn't she look fresh, young and sexy? Just when we thought we couldn't get over the first few released pics, then came the wet look! I wonder if LMH wishes he can immediately stake his claim because a proud (and possessive) boyfriend would want to tell the world who this girl belongs to!

    This video definitely has a more up beat feel to it. He seems super relaxed and having an awesome time - full of laughs and smiles. Hopefully this means he will comeback to Vancouver! :blush:

    Feb 6th?! That’s like in 2 weeks! Hopefully he’s actually here Feb to April or closer to April. It’s pretty cold right now :fearful:

    So his latest You Tube video is done in last December itself then? Is the Canadian border open for tourists now? I thought they are still closed 'cos of COVID.


    Canadian border is closed to travellers for the most part but I believe there are exceptions if it’s for individuals coming here for work, study, funerals and other special circumstances so long as they are following the requirements of self quarantining for the 14 days and any other rules set by the Canadian Government.

    Hi all, just wanted to get some of my thoughts down but I’m sure many people have said the same things already :sweat_smile:
     

    It’s unfortunate to see some people bash HB and his character for his previous denials about his relationship with SYJ...

     

    Although we are fans, we only see a tiny slice of their life through the media. Celebrities do not owe us anything. They have a right to their privacy. Some will say, “That’s the price of fame and being a celebrity!” Is it really? Just because they are celebrities does that mean they MUST tell us every detail regarding their private relationships?

     

    I understand fan service and I know HB was previously relatively quick to confirm relationships but maybe this time he prioritized SYJ and her feelings about confirming their relationship. As we know, she’s never confirmed any relationships publicly in 20 years which obvious tells me she strongly guards and values her privacy. If HB didn’t publicly confirm because SYJ was not ready, I think this speaks positively to his character more than anything. It shows me he respects SYJ and wants to protect her and what they share together.

     

    This reminds a little bit about when my husband and I had our baby. We deliberately decided for the first couple hours after our baby was born to not let any of our family and friends know. Why? Because we knew when we shared the news the visits and the messages and all the other noise would start. We wanted the first few precious moments to just be our little family and no one else. Best decision ever. Those couple hours we shared will forever only be between us.

     

    For all we know, this 8 month dating time line could be legit. Maybe their love story was like the slow burn of a kdrama where they were both close friends with a strong attraction to each other but they were scared to cross that boundary. Or maybe HB was trying hard to pursue her during that time and SYJ was unsure. Maybe SYJ or HB were dating people that weren’t in the kentertainment industry before their own romantic relationship began. Or maybe they were already dating during TN! My point is, we will never know 100% of the full story (of any story for that matter). Nor should anyone feel they are entitled to it.


    Also, I honestly think HB and SYJ and the other celebrities they have been with or were previously shipped with are all totally cool and chill with each other. All this beef people think everyone has with each other usually isn’t true.

    That ship and this ship are the only 2 I’ve ever boarded... Not really even because of each couples chemistry on screen but what I saw/see in all the behind the scenes, interviews and promotional clips.

     

    I’ve said it before that I feel I have a pretty good sense when picking up on attraction between 2 people.

     

    I’m pretty ecstatic that I’m 1 for 2 so far! :blush:


    You’re right about waiting longer for the other ship to sail though. But I don’t mind enjoying one cruise first then having the next one set sail a little after. If both sailed at the same time, I think I would spontaneously combust! :lol:

    OMG... You’re right! I don’t know why I didn’t notice the reflection in the large frame at first. I uploaded a zoomed in section of the silhouette... It totally looks like LMH with his head tilted and his black mask on!

    I zoomed in on her phone on the bottom right of the picture and it has the word “FRAGILE” on the bottom of the screen.

     

    I also zoomed in on her sunglasses to see if I could see anything in the reflection... LOL I thought I saw a dog with light coloured fur... not LMH’s dog though :lol:
