I've observed that YJ is very articulate, precise, a perfectionist. In swoon interview she gave a long and thorough explanation how she likes travelling while HB's answer was short and predictable. Or in making calendar video her answers to fans' questions were usually longer with lots of details. The bickering moment in interview after prescon also shows this side of YJ. HB mentioned about the accident YJ suddenly disappeared while they were running hand in hand but he puzzled me with his brief and unclear description. On the other hand, YJ was very precise and perfectly described the situation even using different tones and hand movements for the audience to understand. She did tell HB in one interview that she got interested in acting since middle school because she always wanted to express her emotions. Perhaps she had learnt the skills herself by trying as hard as she can to put all her emotions and thoughts into words and expressions in the most precise way. So I'm not really surprised to see her so talkative, vibrant and energetic while talking to Yoona. I love that girl!

I always want to capture this great moment - my fav, but don't know how to do it. Thanks to edelweiss98 for this cute vid which shows HB's eyes and smile full of love and admiration towards YJ. I''ve never seen a man expressing that kind of affection toward a woman so obvious, so warm and intense in front of camera. Reading through the commentary section I recognize that it is not only me notice whenever YJ smiles/laughs HB follows and puts up his beaming smiles while wistfully looking at her, truly listening to her as if she's his source of strength and happiness, holding all of his attention.

OMG taking a pause from CLOY I rewatched and read Pride and Prejudice (BBC series) again last week and thought how our couple's dynamic and interaction similar to Mr Darcy and Lizzy. The bickering, the stares, a quiet, aloof and stoic man vs. an outright yet full of charms with fine eyes woman. And the man completely changed when he met his destiny. Beautiful, isn't it!

YJ is a smart woman and naturally stay close to whom shares similarities with her. I think this plays a big part in their mutual attraction rather than outer appearance.

We just know a special lady was in France in June (and resumed working back in Korea in August.) And we know a special guy was filming in Spain from late May to June. Filming resumed in August.... so there's a LIL gap in June/July.

I am very curious. You are talking about their timeline of 2018, just before the promotional tour for TN, right? I didn't know that he started filming MOTA that early.

I saw bday pictures of YJ while filming cloy somewhere but I didn't save it to my phone, sorry. Her team (hair, make up) congratulated her with bday cake. In those pictures she wore the beige coat for the DMZ line scene. Our couple must have had special way to mark her bday, or just enjoyed being together for the second bday in a row.

Thanks @Helena for sharing this insightful piece. I thought that they had met again for the Negotiation reshoot around Apr 2018 but it seems not. They were busy with their own schedule till the promotion tour in Sep/Oct 2018. Since then HB took fast move and proceed to gush over his crush. Perhaps he did suprise her by flying over to meet her in LA in Jan 2019. Perhaps at that time they were still at the stage of getting to know each other. What do you guys think?

Agree with you guys, so many gems in that BTS. Why did they play biting lips there, even no kissing in that scene. I saw HB biting his lips like that before their take for the french kiss on the hill. They must play it a lot in real life when being side by side. And HB's THUMB to caress his girl. They are so in love in that moment

Since you guys recall the bickering of BinJin in their interview, I just wonder why didn't they discuss about it before that day or right after that event happened. HB seemed really surprised with SYJ's answer and reaction. If they would have talked about it perhaps HB may have better answer or happily say sorry to YJ.

The bdg story seems confusing to me. He escorted HB way in and way out, opened the car door for SYJ at the wrap up party and worked in a team overseeing the wedding of SYJ's friend as you said. Has anyone seen him working for other actor/actress whom doesn't have close connection to HB and SYJ? I don't think that there would be possibility

I came across this article while thinking about rewatching The Last Princess tonight (this movie, Into the White Night, The Classic, AMTR are my favs among SYJ's works).

Reading the title ‘Last Princess’ is career-defining film" and SYJ's response "I have no hope that I’ll come across another film like this for the rest of my career.” I just had a thought that she seems to have a feeling of contentment after receiving huge successes and achieving career goals. That could be one of reasons while she is slowing down, perhaps preparing for a more stable life and what we all hope and pray - a wedding in the end of this year or early next year.
