I’m up to episode 3 and very pleasantly surprised. Sci fi is not my thing so if it wasn’t for him I would not have watched the series at all. The whole production is impressive, the cinematography is amazing and I’m really enjoying the suspense and the plot development. Hope this will be another very successful project for oppa

First time for me in this sub forum. After stumbling across the recent comedy One the Woman, I really got into properly learning about Lee Sang Yoon. Should have done it years ago! Love everything that I’ve learnt so far about him, look and personality alike- such a manly, calm and mature oppa with a sexy brain. I had to come out of my hiatus to say something…
I believe no one here can say that “I wasn’t disappointed” that nothing happened. Leading up to 2nd July all of us were counting down, and till the last second of the day we were still patiently waiting. The silence was indeed deflating. But there is no point to speculate the reason, instead we can remember why we’ve been hanging around here for so long in the first place, and keep faith

Here all of us love JH for the whole package, but particularly his drive and personality.
In terms of his K dramas, I would suggest that you watch WFKBJ first then StartUp, as it is the correct chronological order. His chemistry with the female costars are equally good (same with Han Ji Min in Radiant), but if you are watching for him, you can see how much he has changed between 2016 and 2020, in every way. Plus, although our group here really enjoyed StartUp, many others didn’t because JH’s role is not your typical perfect K drama male lead and not neurotypical enough for the general population (which we are not apparently haha)

Something is seriously wrong with this writer. Was she sane? Just wow. Such a good drama (minus the finale week) with great potential completely destroyed, and in the most unconvincing manner. The behavior of the leads in the last 2 episodes were completely out of character. Their special bond suddenly meant absolutely nothing. There are many challenging professions out there with long, unpredictable hours which require great understanding and sacrifice from the partners. The whole long distance reason is such a joke. The Hee Do and Yi Jin of ep 1-14 would have overcome those challenges together and ultimately returned to each other. Meanwhile the high school sweetheart story of Ji Woong and Yu Rim worked out…

ending, so sad
