TBS,'My Exciting Life' broadcast starring Song Hye-kyo and Kang Dong-won on the 12th… New Year Feature Movie
On the 12th (Fri), at 10 o'clock on New Year's Day, TBS Movie Collection will air a movie 'My Exciting Life', which contains a special family story in celebration of New Year's Day.
This work is a film based on the novel of the same name by Kim Ae-ran, directed by Lee Jae-yong and released in 2014. At the time of the release, the fact that two actors Kang Dong-won and Song Hye-kyo took on the role of parents also became a big topic.
The movie "My Exciting Life" is a story of a parent who lost his youth and a son who grew old too quickly. Dae-soo (Kang Dong-won), who was a promising Taekwondo player, and Mira (Song Hye-kyo), who dreamed of becoming an idol, became the parents of Arumyi with children at 17.
And his son Arumyi suffers from congenital progeria, which gets old quickly. Sixteen boys with a beautiful 80-year-old body. Arumyi's time flows faster than anyone else, and Daesoo and Mira are struggling to hide the fear of a breakup that they do not know when they will come, and live vigorously. Then one day, the story of this family is known to the world through a documentary, and unexpected things begin to happen to Beautiful.
On the 12th (Fri) at 10 p.m., I hope you spend a heartwarming New Year's night through the love story told by this special family, whose day by day is so precious.

Yup, she was casted, since this is related to GDW I'll post this anyway. Can't be more excited for this.GDW and IU are both my ultimate faves with Bae Doona as a super versatile actress and the king of Chungmuro SongKangHo, I think this film will be great, just a catchy plot is needed.

Hello there Dongwon fans... On this week I am binge-watching all Dongwon's old and new films. I love this actor. I just finished rewatching Peninsula this AM. Done rewatching 1987:When The Day Comes. Kundo: Age of the Rampant
Too Beautiful Too Lie, A Violent Prosecutor and his drama Something About 1%. I'll rewatch Golden Slumber by weekend.
I just miss him. He was my first love in Korean Ent industry and until now am a big fan. I was waiting for Tsunami LA but I think there was a halt in filming because of the covid. Hope it will be finalized soon and premiered in big cinema.

The movie'Bando' is running a box office in Japan, leading to high interest in actor Kang Dong-won.
The movie'Bando' was released all over Japan on January 1st under the title of'新感染半島 FINAL-STEE-J (New Infectious Peninsula Final Stage)', and it is continuing its outstanding score day after day.
Even in the atmosphere of a theater that has been solidified in the aftermath of the local Corona 19,'Bando' has maintained the number one foreign currency after hitting the movie'Wonder Woman 1984'.

Hi Record of Youth Fans!
We are almost two months shy away from the opening of this drama. Fighting!
SpoilerSpoilerThanks for completely disagreeing with me and for the very long explanation of the character. LOL!
But, take it or leave it, it is still the same with me. The way I perceived and analyzed the character KKJ is a "little shady and crazy".
Well since I have read this forum from page 1 to the current, a PSD fan described another word to that character wc is "a bit darker". Meaning I wasn't only the one observed it like that.
"Maybe me being in a privileged position..."
So just bcuz I described the character a "little shady / crazy", although you used the word "MAYBE" you came into a conclusion and didn't change the fact that you judged me personally to "how I perceived poor people, perceiving it as threats to the society." Wow! As in Wow! I just talked about PSDs character the way I plainly perceived it but you talked about my character the way you perceived it just by merely reading the three words.Don't worry, it's okay for me bcos I always believe IT is OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY!
I can't read well your comment bcos of the color. To answer your post, once and for all, that's how I perceived KKJ character but I did emphasize with how PSD acted or gave life to the character. I think the character is quite important but mostly important is how she had done a great job to give life to the character of KKJ. And that's the reason why the character was loved around the world and was chosen as "THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF INDIE WIRE" . It was PSDs performance that made KKJ character boasted into life. If she weren't that great in performing the character, KKJ will be just another plain name in the movie and I think it was the Jessica Jingle that made her famous since it got trended around the world. Even in SNS fans would always call her Jessica not Ki Jung. Well they are the same persona/character, LOL. And as a bystander, am happy for that performance. Being shady or crazy character won't less the fact that PSD gave a great breath to KKJ character.

Hello everyone... newbie here. I wanna let everyone know I'm a huge fan of PBG and following everything abut him in Twitter.
I'm just as excited as everyone that loves Record of Youth. I miss him so much. Knowing his Ms will be month away is a little emotional here but what great feeling is that this drama is just months away. Sorry for my emotions.
IMHO, these two young people will be in good matched in the drama. I don't know much about PSD then, I watched Parasite but the character of her there is a little shady/crazy. Sorry, PSD fans, but I love her acting. It's true she's like a jewel. I hope this drama with PBG will be her pass to go out of the "little bad image in drama". After knowing she'll be casted alongside PBG I read news about her and checked all her dramas' BG so I got to know that little issue but she became more popular in Parasite.
Btw, PBG is known for his ability to blend well with his co- actresses, so confidently this pairing will be a good catch. A match made in heaven and I like the spirit of youthfulness.
Hoping for a huge success for this drama.
