I think @intrariver said it very well but to put my two cents in- Let’s not spread hate about LDW and his other female co stars in this thread or analyze their friendships. It just breeds resentment. Plus shippers get attacked by oppa fans and get labeled as “crazy”- more reason why famous couples are so private and hide their personal lives- like songsong right now is under high scrutiny due to rumors going on...I can only imagine how they feel and want to keep their love life even more hidden.
We should focus on spreading good vibes about YIN and LDW, showing our support of them if they ever do decide to date publically or get married.

I am going to need a snu snu scene, a wedding scene, and a baby epilogue.
Who knows- maybe seeing YIN with a baby for a scene will stir up feelings with LDW...after he did say he wanted 3-4 kids right!?

Also it baffles me how even if they are just "good friends", why go through the hassle of being SUPER nice?? Like opening a water bottle without even being asked...or laughing at jokes and being touchy/feel-y....or asking for a new heater cause the other one is broken and then placing it in front of her or going out of your way to buy vitamins to prevent a cold (that hasn't even happen yet??? lol)...There's a limit to those things where you're a nice friend...otherwise you're just being a guy/girl trying to care for your crush OR you're already dating and it's your gf/bf lolol.

And, that scene is kinda advertisement and we all know that kiss scene in TYH is so pricy. I mean, they kissed in very necessary scenes, the kiss exist because of the storyline. And, kissing in just trying a lipbalm is questionable for the plot. Hahahaha. I mean, it's not that necessary for the plot unlike the other kissing scenes.
I should wait for the behind the scene clip of that particular scene, but I can't sleep tonight if I didn't share it

Hmm I wouldn't say the norm? But then again I'm not very savvy in k culture lol. So anybody- feel free to correct me. But basically, IMO it's very serious when the stars try to keep their lives private because they want this to work out with both sides of the families getting to know each other AND without interference cause fans would send hate to their significant other (i.e. like "you don't deserve ________" or "you're too ugly for ____" when the couple is just starting out and getting to know each other (and that does not help a developing relationship at all). It's sad but true. But there are always like rumors with them getting caught on a secret date or they just HAPPEN to be in the same place at the same time for no reason
Also another opinion I have is that going "public" with relationships right away (like not even trying to hide it at first) are done for publicity stunts (Like to promote a drama or their new albums). Like in the end, it's not made to last long lol.
IDK if you've read songsong's messages to their fans about their relationship. But to me, it was very sweet. I think SHK said she wanted to tell fans "but there were more than one person involved." And SJK said the same too. So you can see it's really serious when it comes down to it.
But then again, there are couples who have gone public and still went the whole way- with marriage and a baby hehe. Like look at Rain and Kim Tae Hee. They went public with their relationship after a year or so from their commercial ad together and after four years, they got married.

Hm I’m not sure if the link works cause the account is private but if you look on yinldw Instagram, LDW steps closer to YIN when she pulls him closer (I know we’ve discussed this before). BUT I also notice that LDW rubs YIN’s hand with his thumb. LIKE WHAT. Why do that in a photoshoot that’s only capturing stills? I mean it’s not like you’re on video and it’ll show your actions...
