    Hello everyone,

Please excuse my totally newbie questions! My wife is a big BTS fan and so I bought her what I thought was the new album. Love yourself Tear, it has the letter Y on it, it has her favorite song Fake Love and she was so happy. But then she mentioned there is another version with different songs? She said it wasn't a big deal and she didn't need it but I could see the longing in her eyes, and I knew I had to get it for her. After some looking around I am more confused. How many different versions are there? I don't think she is interested in collecting all the cards but I know she will want all the songs. If someone could give me some guidance or point me in the direction of an article that would clear the matter up for me I would be grateful.

    Thank you

The latest album, it's actually a repackage album with new tracks is called: Love Yourself: Answer and there are different versions photo wise but the tracks are the same. The versions spell out S + E + L + F ; 4 versions. Check out the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Yourself:_Answer

  2. I didn’t think the low ratings are indicative of quality or that people aren’t interested. I think most people are waiting to binge after the series reaches halfway or those like me waiting for subs and it is more about not having the time to watch it live for two hours every night. It is not even about the quality, which is subjective based one’s preferences.

This drama being political and has no fantasy is fine. Dramas are separate from their novel source or related stories - everyone can decide. Sometimes it is just about timing. I judge base on me watching first and foremost and then usually my interest on the cast and story. As for Legend of Fuyao, I enjoyed it very much and I will def. watch this show. I am praying that Netflix picks it up to do the subs.

    Long trailer

I'm a bit confused... Ning Yi is living in her house and pretending to be a tailor?? That's how they meet??Why?? Isn't he a prince?...

I just started reading the book...its a slow read and Google translate doesn't help....but from whatever little I understood there's alot of changes from the book.

      Hide contents

The first time they meet in the book is when he sees her killing someone....drowning a woman in the lake. Next time they meet he's pushing someone in the same lake. For next few meetings...he keeps coming on the scene when she's in trouble...but he doesn't help her....instead he watches how she gets herself out of it.

I have read the first three books too and yes, it is one of these low burn scheming and political actions. Unfortunately the local publisher had translation delays and the rest of the novels will come out in November - December of this year.

@bushiwo you're right. Vengo needs to improve his acting skill. From what I see he's unable to act with scenes of deep emotions. He's OK with comedy like in Mr Pride and Miss Prejudice. In legend of fuyao sometimes his acting is just off.

About the actor who played Ali in TMOPB, he's probably considered "too old"  to play Ali. The filming of TMOPB was about 2-3 years ago. Children his age grow up very fast. That's why they have to cast different child actor.

I agree with your points. I have only watched Vengo in TMOPB and now Fuyao and his acting was stronger in TMOPB. We’ll have to see how it goes. As for Dili, I am looking forward to her taking on more mature roles and I hope that it is the case here.

Even though it's animated, made me cry so much LOL. Grave of the Fireflies. Sad movie that is half based on a true story of the war in Japan. Couldn't get over how sad it was and the fact that most of it was real.

After watching this once, I haven’t been able to watch it again. I even own it on DVD lol. It tears one’s heart out and is one of the saddest film ever made. It is a powerful anti-war film that more people should watch.

Not a movie but a drama. The Disguiser was so sad. Love the drama....it was great; funny and great acting.

I really tried to watch this for Hu Ge and the awesome cast but about half-way, I could tell it was only going to get sadder and stopped.

Hahaha yeah, FJ in the last half of Eternal Love is definitely not the type of character that I like. But by then, I already fall in love with their DH and FJ (and in turn, both Reba and Vengo) so I practically have rose-colored glasses on when watching them lmao. I just think of them as different version as compare to their book counterpart.

Totally agree. Will look forward to reading the novel.

That’s true too! I just thought people would be extra, extra harsh on her, and her acting skills are already known to be lacking. Maybe it’ll even typecast her into these sort of roles and get her more acting jobs. Either way, she is definitely perfect for the role of Ji Heng, but i would have boycott too if she played Feng Jiu! Nothing against her personally, but it would ruin my mental image of FJ! :)

Besides Dilraba & Vengo, i wonder if any of you imagined any other actors/actresses as them, or what your vision of a perfect DHFJ would be?

I really can’t say because I haven’t read the novels. So my idea and images of them are really based on the TMOPB drama and therefore based on Dili and Vengo’s previous portrayal etc. I am sure there are good actors and actresses that could have done it well. Let me go read the novel.

Ref to above post on that actress...i dont think "career ending"...probably she is quite clever. She knew she wasn't well-liked....even if she stepped away and avoided the drama completely, she won't gain any positive points. So she made use of all the attention she would get regardless good or bad. And she also won't (didn't want to) be seen as total loser to her anti-fans.

If she act adequate enough...the high viewership of this drama will help her.

Yes. I agree with you. It has worked some what already. I didn’t know if her until following news on this drama.

They said this drama is going to follow Tang Qi’s books - Vengo’s interview has explained it is NOT a sequel to the drama. It is an original adaptation of The Pillow Book. So if you’re referring to the 10 Miles DRAMA - just pretend that DHFJ story didn’t exist, because that was written by the scriptwriters and completely different to the original books. In the books, DH and FJ meet properly for the first time AFTER the royal wedding of YHBQ, which occurs 223 years after Mo Yuan wakes up.

I am ok with this as I do think a direct sequel wouldn’t work since the drama changed so much etc. However, I am praying for YM and MC to do some cameos.
