i'm more concerned about writer as well, i have no worries about age gap or real life relationship or anything since both are them are professional actor/actress. SHK is a veteran in the industry. i watched her various work(mostly drama) and i can say her choice of works are good. My favourite is That winter the wind blow which was melo drama many years ago and i'm so happy her comeback is that genre but a lot more mature character (divorce and have kid).

Same goes to bogum, i remember for Moonlight he spent a lot of time studying Crown prince character, the way they speak (chosun royal) or their history. i think he took time before accept any works. i read his interview recently that the factor for him for casting is that he wish for the character that's fit his own age. so i guess this one is also right. There's no detail much about Kimjinhyuk apart he's poor part-timer lol but i believe and trust that it's not simple character but a heart-warming person who can touch viewers heart, the role that bogum wanted.

ok back to writer issue. even her past works are flop or seems forgettable. i seriously wish this work will change 360degree of people's perception and will be great that dont have to rely on stars power of the casting. i hope for the best for Both SHK and PBG comeback after 2 years.

That drama though with low rating was her work with the best chemistry ever.

At a point(I didn't know much about them then), l have to google the two up cos what i was seeing was affection beyond acting. I wasnt surprised  bit they shared something in common.

One good aspect of her is she knows how to make her o actors fall for her effortlessly.

Just wanted her to try other genre.its time. She shouldn't be stuck in one place only.

besides the missing wedding ring, anyone noticed the scars on YJ ankles also went missing in Ep16?

Lol, I don't think the wedding ring was an issue. That part was deliberately cut off as they didn't progress with the wedding except the entrance by the couple. The drama just ended there.

Also lots of things has to be concluded as leaving them open will mar the drama and from their scale of preference, the wedding ring scene is better cut off than those ones.

@drama, what a good way to wrap this wonderful drama up.

    Kudos to everybody.

I normally enjoy drama up to the confession of love and lost interest after that but this drama made me want more. From our narcissistic vp and his killer punches to the sec and all the casts. I wanted to hate the mum but can't.

It's a light comedy but filled with strong lessons and I will look forward to a good work like this again.

It ended well for us and the casts and production crew too. Tvn is on fire these days.

Wish the public stations will leave broadcasting politics and go for quality.

  3. Just finished watching episode 14.

    What a comic relief!

From the vp team and the dad, in fact, I will stalk this director. He sure knows how to balance a drama.

The boys that want to give Mr vp pizza, I call them the 3 idiots:lol:

So office workers can actually be this cute?

    Such a feel good drama.

Pls k drama should be producing dramas like this. Enough of dark gloomy ones. Most of us watch dramas to ease tension of the real world and relax with good feelings.

  4. The writer has only one purpose for this drama I think. To make viewers feel good.

This drama is sustained by chemistry.  Had the chemistry been average, I don't think I will wanna consider it.

It's exactly my kind of drama.

This guy is naturally a quiet guy but he becomes something else on set.

So happy for him. No military enlistment to slow him down. And a fashionista.

  5. Why did she run away?

And he was a kind of fanning himself?

I don't know if it's in this drama that I once told somebody that a kiss alone can set drama couples on fire even though they don't have any feelings for each other before.

I give it to these people. It's not easy to be an actor. Sometimes u may secretly like somebody and that person is with another yet u two are paired in a romantic drama.  It takes professionalism to control yourself especially the men cos the evidence is always instant and don't hide unlike women. That's why good men's panties are encouraged to cage some monsters to avoid misbehaving.

What am I even saying? Our leading lady is very feminine and soft. I wish Korean ladies should be more feminine like this cos they are beautiful. It's not an easy task holding such soft body in ur hand without getting burned:P.

My dear boy,u are in for the real nightmare!

Most actors are dying to be paired with her romantically. I'm even attracted to her as a woman. She just challenged my fashion sense so I have decided to do a makeover.

the relationships don't start because of on screen kissing.. they start because of 20 hrs - day and night being spent together .. no? lol @ hormones.. ya who knows.. but we would get to see the heightened :)

Do u know that u might decide to date a guy and as the relationship progresses u two will take it further for u to discover his tongue is not the type u like so therefore the kiss is dead without emotion on it side?

But an actor might be doing his thing without attachment until the kiss scene and will never ever get that out of his mind. Just one kiss.

If not for privacy, if these guys are allowed to talk we will be shocked at what things like that does to them.or the ladies.

Ques is.. can you really be turned on when there are 50 people in the room with camera, light, screens yelling action .. lol

    Absolutely yes!

That's how some relationships started and lead to marriage. Or a quicky in a hotel after the drama to cool the tension.  Some can be flat of course and it affects their chemistry. Body isn't firewood at all. The hormones don't care if people are around:D

"What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" Lee Tae-hwan Resents His Mother, Kim Hye-ok

On the latest episode of the tvN drama "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim", Seong-yeon (Lee Tae-hwan) was tormented by the truth of his past.

He remembered himself as the victim of a kidnapping. However, the real victim was his brother Young-joon (Park Seo-joon).

In the past, young Seong-yeon looked around the site of the accident and said, "Was Seong-hyeon really locked up in here? Because of me?"

This became a trauma to him and distorted his memory.

Seong-yeon became angry at his mother (Kim Hye-ok). "Why did you only tell me the truth now? Why didn't you tell me this earlier? Why didn't you tell me I had it wrong? How foolish must I have looked?"

    Source : www.tvreport.co.kr/?c...

    I also super resent her.

Common, how can she be so healthy and happy with smiling face each time she sees this boy.

    What a crappy mother!

From the beginning of this drama,we can see that smart from being jealous of his brother, he always look lost, confused, nervous and lonely like somebody who has a mental breakdown.

And instead of the parents to have set things right and he find a healing from the guilt of abandoning his brother in that house, they squashed it. Do they think that he will not get it right one day?

    I'm super angry with her.

That aside, I'm not comfortable with M&S childhood story.it made no sense that a five yr old will leave their house in the middle of the night and just followed a stranger. Don't their house have lock? Didn't the dad teach them the importance of locking the house especially in the night?

And are the two sisters so dunce that they didn't notice her absence in the morning?

Children at that age have no secret, so she didn't tell her sisters?

The drama is almost at the end and we haven't seen or heard from the dad.

I want to ask a nagging question.

From  most of the kdrama I have watched, it looks that Korea seldomly practice extended family system. Sometimes u will see a child that lost both parents and ended up alone.

I am glad the sisters finally came around with Lee she just needed to spend time went him.

I understand now why she as acting that way.

    Glad too.

    It wasn't extended unnecessarily.

Do we really have a villain in this drama?

Big brother is supposed to be the villain but I simply can't hate his character. Sometimes there is this lost look he portrays.

Looking for a xter to hate:P

This scene genuinely made me sad :(

    Yoo Shik deserves happiness too!!!!

I think he will find it with his secretary. Nobody ruffle his feathers like her yet he hasn't sacked her. He might not just know it yet

Is the brothers case like when you continue telling a lie,it might eventually become the truth to u?

But mum said it's time to tell the kids the truth which means she has been aware that the first son has been lying. I know his brother said he was a bully when he was younger to him he must have bullied him that day too with his friends.

I'm interested in his condition medically.

i don't know about koreans but korean drama fashion is bad. And if i am to trust variety shows, clearly koreans don't wear these outrageous designs.. i don't know why designers experiment in the dramas without a purpose... clothes aren't there for the heck of it.. they are part of characterizations. anyways.. i am surprised if people like that sense of style

True there. The sec fashion style took me unaware. It's not the normal Korean gloomy fashion seen in almost all their dramas.

As far as fashion is concerned, they are still in the dark days. Maybe bc they are a conservative society but the ladies show legs a lot so I wonder what they are hiding again.

But look at how those clothes brought out her feminity. So seductive. Well, I read somewhere that body doesn't matter much to Korean men than the face but in my hood, men go crazy for great curves. The backside and front must correspond and visible too.

  12. So, I want to know if the big brother is actually sick.

He looks normal and is doing well in his chosen profession but I can detect bottled up anger and jealousy in him the time he flared up in front of his younger brother.

Also  It might be that he felt the parents love his brother more than him or his brother is exceptionally smart. But I think he has a  very deep psychological problem.

But who is that red lipstick lady that kidnapped them? How did our sec got involved in the kidnap?

    Writer-nim,over to u.
