    @jemitoshumafook94 @faythe Crystal and Yang Yang will have a bit more time than one movie since they've already signed on for a sequel dated 2019: https://movie.douban.com/photos/photo/2435682731/

    So it's likely the first movie won't cover the whole story, maybe just half.

    I'm willing to give the movie a chance only because the special affects look super amazing! But I think the TV version will always have my heart. I hope they can bring out the struggle of the characters and make you feel for them the way Yang Mi and Mark did.

    Found this cute passage on Tang7's blog that moonflower just linked me. I'm not sure if someone has already translated it!

    团子踢着小短腿唉声叹气地蹲到东华帝君身边：“帝君爷爷……哥哥，我觉得我今天有点颓废。”
    帝君：“嗯？”
    团子：“父君又把我从娘亲的寝殿里赶了出来，我觉得我是被他们捡来的。”
    帝君：“你不是捡来的，你父君才是被你娘捡来的。

    I'll translate it loosely:

    Tuanzi (A'Li's nickname that BQ calls him) sighed and ran to Donghua Dujin's side: Dijun grandpa... brother*, I feel very useless today.

    Dijun: Huh?

    Tuanzi: Father kicked me out of Mother's palace again, I think I'm probably just some kid they picked up.

    Dijun: You're not the one that got picked up, your dad is one your mother picked up/brought home randomly** 

    Tuanzi: Then... then where did I come home?

    Dijun: You're the combination of you and your father's intellect, like he ran into her carrying porcelain and pretended to she broke it*** (please see explanation)

    *I think he's just learnt to change his way of referring to Dijun due to his marriage with FJ, who is A'Li's cousin, hence rather than referring to him with the respectful "Grandfather", Dijun now becomes his brother!

    ** As in randomly picked up off the street kind of connotation, like the way you'd pick up a stray animal.

    *** So what "peng ci" means is literally like a fraud scheme where someone runs into you carrying porcelain, drops it on purpose and accuses you of breaking it. This sentence is being used a lot in those schemes in China where the guy jumps onto your car and pretends you ran into him to get money from you. The connotation of this is (I THINK, someone may correct me) is that Dijun is saying after BQ picked up YH off the street (like when he pretended to be injured), he kind of tricked her into getting pregnant with Tuanzi so she would get stuck with him for life haha. Dijun truly is evil haha! Also poor A'Li, I feel like his parents are way too in love with each other to pay much attention to him.

    @Sary Em I think it's only in the TV series where they made it quite clear that MY has a thing for BQ... in the novel it was only ever implied/very vague. I agree with your interpretation of MY's feelings for BQ in the book universe. In the TV series they full went with BQ/MY because Shao Wan doesn't exist in that universe I don't think... since they didn't buy the rights just like with PB.

    Does anyone have any updates from Tang7's camp? Does she have a blog or something? Is she still writing for the Three Lives universe or has she given up? Someone must have asked her this question in a Chinese interview by now. I know she's written a bunch of other books.

    It would so awesome if she could complete that book and have Mark still be able to act as MY!

I saw a recent comment (Feb 2017) saying that this probably isn't Tang7's version. So, if this is not her version then I don't know which version everyone (+me) read back then.

    I think Kris is one of the other rumored leads (along with Jiro Wang) to be playing DHDJ in the PB adaption.

    Recently I've been watching the movie version short trailer. I heard they've also greenlit the sequel so that means this will only be half of the story (or maybe a 1/3?) I still think the effects and costumes are awesome so willing to give it a chance even though Mark is not in it :( Crystal Liu Yi Fei definitely looks the part but maybe she looks a bit too pure? Like she looks definitely like she could be a spirit/immortal, she's got that otherworldy quality, but not mean/mischievous/naughty to be young Siyin and BQ when she's feeling foxy LOL

    BQ/MY Fanfiction

    Sorry for the lateness on the update for this! So I thought it was going to be just short and sweet but it turns it it's grown legs and just sort of run away from me.

    I've written 10 pages and although I know exactly what's going to happen, it's only like maybe half way.

    I might just start posting it as I write otherwise you guys will have forgotten about the show by the time I'm finished.

    I found this forum: https://forums.soompi.com/en/forum/7-fanfix/ which apparently is where fanfictions are posted so I might just put it there although it looks like mostly Korean stuff. 

    Before I do does someone want to be a proof reader to make sure I've ironed out the spelling/grammar mistakes? Preferably someone who likes the BQ/MY pairing haha.

    Sooo... I'm kind of really embarrassed to say this but I've started working on a MY/BQ fanfic haha mostly for my own benefit because I really wanted to read one and I wasn't sure if anyone else was working on it. :lol:

    It will be like sort of long-ish short story so not a multi-parter novel, sort of just a small "what might have been". Ye Hua will also make (several) appearances. 

    I'm not that familiar with Soompi or other forums (lol my description aptly says n00b) so is there correct place/places to post it after I've finished it? Should be either later today or tomorrow

    @n00dle.is the General and I not good? Was thinking of trying that next since its on the same YouTube channel as Eternal Love. 

    Me too don't know what to look forward to after work now haha. Although probably should start paying more attention to my BF again, he's like to our dog every time I go into the bedroom to spend my alone time watching - "What happened to mummy? She's disappeared again!" XD

    One of my friends refuses to watch anything until it finishes. She started watching last night and messaged me "You probably won't see me at work Thurs/Fri" hahahaha.

    I've still got the HD version on Youtube for the last 2 eps to watch tonight but seriously don't know what I'm going to do after that.

    Maybe write a fanfic haha!

    It's all at an end :(

    I personally loved the ending, and glad we got a few scenes with BQ and YH! I loved the cute scene where Zheyan had to take care of A'Li for the duration of 7 chess games because YH wanted to be alone with BQ. Zheyan was so funny he was like "Your dad is too into your mom" (sort of) haha. Loved that they got to talk. We didn't get an epilogue but according to my mom, in the PB novel YH and BQ rule Heaven Kingdom (FJ refers to the fact that she had lots of marriage choosing ceremonies organised by her auntie the Heaven Empress and that BQ deliberately put them in the room next to DJ's to richard simmons him off/make him jealous haha). So anyway that negates the horrible family he has since BQ will be her own boss! Since everyone knows YH does what she says haha.

    MY seems at peace and dare I say, ready to move on??

    I feel bad for those that liked the other pairings but at least DJ confessed his feelings for Feng Jiu. I found that scene where 16th rejected Yanzhi and told her to not come back to Kunlunxu ever again quite significant especially in its placement in the final scenes of the movie and it contrasting starkly with the HE with BQ/YH. This whole time I feel like the show has been pushing one underlying message: that about fate and destiny. If a couple is "destined" to be together even death (twice!) cannot keep them apart. But if they have no destiny (FJ/DJ, 16th/Yanzhi) even if they love each other, they won't be together.

    Which if you think about it is kind of a sad message. So far everyone that has tried to twist their fate/destiny has ended up dead (XN), some rejected woman out on the street (SuJin) and/or sad like DJ/FJ and 16th/Yanzhi. The last two couples only kept their dignity because they sort of gave up. MY didn't even try. I wonder why they chose this message.

    Anyway I'm happy with the ending for my main pairing. Perhaps it would have been better if they'd just left DJ/FJ's story out altogether since they do not feature much in the first novel and they couldn't use the plot of the second but unfortunately I think they expanded the role to promote Diliraba and Vengao (probably at Yang Mi's insistence since she is their boss). There's probably a lot of politics behind the scenes so I don't think we should just go around blaming the scriptwriter/producer for HATING them. I doubt the scriptwriter has personal feelings towards any of the people in the story, it's just a job to him/her and she/he probably gets told what to do and who to include. 

    But now that Dilraba and Vengao got more famous through this role, maybe you guys can see them in other shows? And it will be good for their careers :)

    They have a notification on the page saying at 7:30PM Beijing time they will upload a streaming version. I tried it a few days ago and it came up but I can't remember what the quality is like.

    One more hour to go :)

    But the YouTube version is still the best quality and you don't have to sit through ads in between the 2 episodes.

    Yes would be awesome if the author can push out the MY novel first so they can make a drama out of it while Mark is able to act that role. I don't think it's impossible. Right now Mark is like the hottest male actor in China (my mom says on the Chinese forums there are so many crazy fangirls) and if they make a sequel with a new story he is in; it's sure to be a commercial success. And money talks!

    I think T7 should do what George RR Martin did and just tell the director/producer what she intended in the story and let them make the drama out of it! Although it would have to be a trustworthy company with a good scriptwriter so they don't ruin it like they did for FJ/DJ in this one. Why did they make it as though the world will END if they end up together? Surely it's not as if it's that hard for them to give them a (sort of) happy ending. But maybe the producer/director of the PB series forced them to do this in order to use the characters.

    Yes I think LJ died. His energy went into his dad like the way he said it would if he died. So the survivor would be the Princess plus LJ + XN's son to rule over the Yi tribe.

    Ghost King is dead too. Yehua defeated him. On his death bed he said he had linked his life to the bell so when he died the bell would try to destroy the world - which is why Yehua sacrificed his soul. But yes Ghost King is gone gone and good riddance.

    Only villains left are that stupid Tianjun and YH's mom (haha yes I understand @peanutbutterjellytime's opinion too. I think it really comes down to if you like BQ or YH more. If you like YH more you will definitely understand and enjoy his mom telling BQ off for all his sacrifices he made for her and it's totally true she hasn't done any big sacrifices/gestures for him in return. But if you identify and feel sympathy more with her you will feel that nothing was really her fault and yes she shouldn't have questioned their love but her suspicions can also be understandable if you were put in her shoes... she remembers keenly those nights she spent as Susu and how YH treated her. And plus she never asked him to do those things for her and he never consulted her and she now is alone with all the consequences. Two sides of a coin I guess).

    @Purestupidity I think what Yehua's mom said to him after the trial means literally 'marrying Bai qian, it will be pitiful for you' so I think what she's saying is not that he's too good for BQ (although can be interpreted that way too), but that the situation will be difficult and he won't have a smooth time. I think she's referring to the past drama with Susu plus her knowledge of Bai Qians temper and most likely that she's currently very angry with the Heaven tribe and will probably take it out on him. But yehua hurried to say she's the only one he wants, if he can't have her he doesn't want anyone else. So she reluctantly accepts it.

    @VietGirl2 Yes his family is completely ridiculous. And if you think about it Yehua is not actually their son haha he's the son of the father god. They haven't been good to him either. So he should just kick them to the curb and go live with BQ in Qingqiu. 

    Otherwise totally agree with you Shifu is looking better and better every day. Wasnt someone going to write this fanfic? I'm waiting =P

    I saw 2 scenes with Ali.

    One he kneels to his dad's coffin and tells him he's sorry it took him 3 years to come visit because in these three years he's been locked up by his nan (YH's stupid mom) and not allowed to leave her and he has to study all day.

    2nd one Ali asks BQ if she's missing his dad, she says yes she always does. She said father god had 2 sons, one is her shifu and one is her husband. Afterwards she no longer cares about any other men in the world.

    Couldn't watch the scene with YeHua's mom last night. Had to put it on mute (was watching a live stream so couldn't ff). Although maybe its understandable considering she is heartbroken over her son but it was still so hard to watch. BQ never asked YH to do any of those things for her, she was willing to make the final sacrifice but he wouldn't let her. And YH's mom never helped her or was sympathetic to her when she was SS, and now she's blaming it all on BQ. I think poor BQ has suffered so much, things keep getting done to her out of her control. All of YH's relatives in heaven except for his 3rd uncle are so horrible. She should just forget about him and his horrible family and go back to live in Kunlunxu with Shifu =P

    Just kidding. Wake up soon Yehua :)

    Yes and don't forget strength/power is not necessarily just fighting ability. Because Zheyan said before he can't/doesn't fight at all but his power is healing (and making wine lol). He probably could if he wanted to try but I doubt he'd be that great even though he is a high god. I guess Tianjun might be similar deal? That's why he's never around when the stuff hits the fan. And Mo Yuan is a war god so fighting is his specialty I guess. I would still put Mo Yuan above Yehua if both are fully healthy. But maybe Yehua will catch up a couple hundred thousand more years.
