Yes, I believe so, too! It could also be another way/form of advertising wherein, even without the face, you would know who she is, and it creates more impact on the "audience", as it has a kind of "mystery" in it!

Agree with this comment 100%! It makes me so happy watching it as it captured all the beautiful moments of the two (LJS and HHJ) during the MBC Awards night. I super love the moment PD Nim looked at the pair when they hugged. Like he was a very proud and happy dad for them. His reaction was priceless! I loved also the time they were laughing with the radio host, it was an unguarded moment laughing with all their heart. I bow my head to the maker of the video. She is love! She even chose a very appropriate background music. I would watch it now and then, and I can never get enough of it! Thanks you so much for this. More power and much more love!

Thank you so much for keeping up with the posts, It's been awhile since I have given my thoughts on JS and HJ since MBC Drama Awards. Just because to me everything I know so far about their relationship is nothing short of special. The way they support each other in ways where one another can immediately clue into and their ability to reassure on another that everything will be okay ~ is why to me it adds to how confident I feel.
The newest video clip of them whispering to one another shows to me that still despite the environment and how some perceived their interactions as minimal they managed to have the moments where they truly didnt seem nervous but more along the lines of pure enjoyment of being around each other. Its amazing how that chemistry they had since they started "W" is
* Last but not least, If any Jongjoo fans come across anything that is antagonistic towards us and HJ & JS I strongly suggest to not play fire with fire. To the ones who find enjoyment in creating negative tension is the sort of people we as a fandom want to steer clear of because its a direct reflection how insecure they may feel.
For me the focus of my posts whether it be on Soompi and IG is to share and spread the love and support of JS and HJ not to create anything else. I think people tend to lose focus and create unnecessary comparisons. So in future let these people do what they need to do in order for them to be happy and we shall do the same but for us I take great pride that many of us are taking the high road and not letting these things influence our behaviours and the level of support we show JS and HJ.
2017 has just begun and I know that JS and HJ's future is just as bright as before. With the support that they have and still continue to vocalize to each other I know that their is much more to be happy about.
@lovely_skhamHappy New Year! As always, what you've said are all on-point, our dear Captain. Yes, it is best that we think and do good thoughts every time, so thanks again for reminding us to be grounded always. We love you, and we understand that you need not be present here all the time because you are busy with other concerns too!

Just noticed during the MBC Awards Night photos posted (while they were seated, and during the time he was one of the presentors) that Lee Si Eon is quite a good looking guy. I guess I did not see that during the W showing since his role required him to look "that way" . Haha.

To JS & HJ ~ I believe that they met each other for a reason and that was to show one another just how loved they can be. The endless support they have for one another is truly wonderful since nothing is more important the support of family and friends ~ fans included. Seeing these two wonderful individuals grow and lean on one another when they are out of their comfort zones.
For example: Take a look at JS when she is being interviewed by Park Seul Gi (Section TV interviewer) He is nodding in response to HJ being interviewed. That was his way to show her that will be okay. When I look at the moments where JS won his award no one was happier than that beautiful lady smiling back at him. It was as if no one was more important than JS ~ I think the reason why they connect so well is the fact that they are similar in how awkward they are with media attention and they much rather the cameras be on someone else especially if they are being interviewed because its not scripted.
Anywhoo I dont know if that made any sense, all in all I think despite maybe a lack of words for such a beautiful night by both of them, what we got was enough.
Again, Happy New Years and best wishes in 2017 for everyone and especially HJ and JS.
@lovely_skham I always love the way you analyze things. Everything you said was on point. You mentioned their being so supportive of each other in all ways which is indeed true. More than that, we can clearly see how their co-stars and director love them so much too. I noticed (if I saw it right) that their co-stars in W were "congratulating" HHJ while LJS was still on stage after accepting his award. i super love the way Mr. Kim seems to be so supportive of them too. They must indeed be both very lovable individuals (HHJ and LJS), and they deserve all the love they get from all supporters and fans. Anyway, back to you CAPTAIN of the ship, please always be here to steer the ship. You do it so well, so congratulations for that too!

Me too. Agree with @maryofbethany when she made the statement about Dramabeans. Their team as you mentioned is the most reliable/dependable and unbiased. It is Dramabeans which was my original must-read everyday until I discovered this blog site which I added to my reading list. I do read one other blog site (which I will not mention, of course), but I decided to just go through it once in a while when I confirmed its' very obvious prejudiced/biased reporting.

Just a random post! Who among you read "Dramabeans"? Anyway, just now was an article of 2016 Drama Review, wherein it gives a summary of Korean dramas as rated by 21 different drama reviewers/critics known as Team Dramabeans. From the article, it ranked W as the 4th overall best K drama for 2016, after Signal, Oh Hae Yong Again, Jealousy Incarnate (with just a one-point difference). This confirms my opinion (and most of us, too) that after all, W was one of the best/ranked-highly/critically-acclaimed (it was the BEST, for me) K drama for 2016.
. Some over-rated dramas were way below W. By the way, I have not watched the 4 above-mentioned dramas, but planning to watch Signal when I have time,because I am so intrigued with its' high-ranking.

Anywhoo, @May Low shared this already but from the video, I am not to sure you all noticed this but as JS was walking back to his vehicle, Lee Hee Joon was walking along side of him they were having a conversation and it was really nice to see, I never realized they knew eachother. They never starred along side eachother in any dramas or films. Anywhoo if you are curious who he is, he is an actor that plays one of the con artists in "Legend of the Blue Sea" and he also is another actor that belongs to BH Entertainment Agency. It seemed they were quite familiar with each other, which for me, to see there interaction is very surprising since JS is typically quite shy when it comes to his Sunbaes. Anywhoo just thought it was interesting,..... I will leave you to ponder about this cause it sure left me a little puzzled but I am not gonna think about it too much.

One of the things that's always stood out to me in her performances is how convincingly she plays relationships with other people, especially different kinds of family relationships. I especially liked her portrayal as noona to a kid on the autism spectrum in Brilliant Legacy--it came off as 100% real, and I wondered what kind of real life experience she must have to pull that off.
I did watch the drama Brilliant Legacy, and I do remember her role as the loving sister of the boy, and yes, I would always tear up that time during their scenes together. It was both brilliant acting for both of them, but come to think of it, it must be because she is really a truly caring person so it was not just acting at all but as you described it- her natural tendency as a person to be so caring.

Actually, I came on the thread because I just wanted a place to post my respect for her. I'm slowly working my way through all of her work, and wow, she is good! Both in her ability to play different kinds of distinct characters, and yet still having a signature stamp that lets you know this is a HHJ character. I appreciate the way she can pull viewers in and make them (us) really feel for her character without being shrieky or overdone. So as far as professional acting, I think she's top notch. But in addition to that, I've been impressed at how she interacts with people off screen. I'm in a creative profession myself, and so I can't help but notice which artists develop egos and which ones don't once they become successful. So I have a ton of respect for the way she is always supportive of others, friendly to fans, and quite modest about her considerable talent. We need more people in the world who love what they do, do it well, and bring up the people around them to a higher level, too.
If anyone on here does go to her fan event, enjoy!
@frozentundraI very much appreciate your statements above. I can now say she is indeed has a lovely personality (100% confirmed), and she is a people person, and many love her back. You are the expert in here since as you said, you are in the creative profession, and you would know how to analyze personalities. For me too, more than the talent (and she is Talented and Smart - noticed this in her interviews) is the real person behind that talent. Combined together, HHJ is PERFECT! Haha! Love you for this, just like many others would.)

Just one comment on this IG post. I just noticed that their respective partners (I mean wife of Ji Sung, and Han Hyo Joo to LJS), do have great influence on the "physical look" of the men. I mean, JS looks more handsome now, and LJS has transformed too. LOL! No offense meant to anyone. Thanks for posting this @lovely_skham. You are too good a person for doing all these for everybody.

Welcome to new posters. I have always thought this thread is great because of the discussions and the different opinions on all things related to our favorite actress. I've said it before that it's the reason why I have been coming here for years, aside from wanting to support her. I think there can be no perfect way to support your favorite actor - nothing is perfect, nobody is perfect. We can all voice our disappointments, approval, complaints, etc. However, it is my hope that we try to do so in a manner that does not show disrespect to anyone - co-fans, other actors, and most of all, HHJ. I have complained so much about her character in W, Oh Yeon Joo (lol), and I hope this did not show lack of support on my part. Another great thing about this forum (and I read all pages) is that most fans here are actually respectful of her personal life. She's been shipped many times but it's all in good fun, I cannot recall a time when somebody really crossed the line. I believe this is how it should be, anyway. Fan-girling/boying should be fun.
@kaz11 Sorry, if that sounded too serious. Just take it lightly please. Was just expressing my thoughts. You are right - respecting each others' opinion should be what it should be. I did not mean to offend anyone. Love you all! Indeed, everyone should be happy and gay, always. No stresses here!

Also this concept of what fans "want" and what they "feel is right" is subjective and have no weight to what is best for HJ. HJ is a brilliant woman who is not only smart, captivating and one of the rare gems that I have come across. She always leaves an great impression on anyone and I must admit it is truly baffling that I was deprived of her talent and beauty for so many years. My apologies I didn't find her sooner.
I am going to be honest I am a new fan so whether you long time fans may agree with me or not, I truly feel that HJ's happiness trumps all, and what I mean by this is all this talk of when she should get married or have a boyfriend and how much longer she should work is not something that should be taken lightly.
She is human with needs, she has a heart just like you or I, she yearns for love, protection and support. So with that said the only people that matter and who's opinions matter is that of her family and friends that are able to have a profound affect on her life decisions. There is a certain line that fans should never cross and I believe that speaking about family matters and showing disapproval over something that fans cant control nor do we have the right to is not only selfish but it illicits bad behaviour that fans regardless of how long you have been supporting them or not should possess.
I believe that HJ loves her fans deeply and would hope that her fans trust her and her decisions in life and if she decided to take that step then we as fans should congratulate her and endeavour to support her no matter what.
I truly wish her the best with her career and her personal life, this is what fans should do and are meant to do and behaving in the appropriate way only reinforces how great and supportive a fandom should be.
