    Quick question:

    Is SooHyun not a Lotte Dept Store ambassador anymore? I visited Star Avenue last week but was disappointed not to be able to find any SooHyun’s picture there. :cry:

     

    My consolation: managed to take some pictures with his standees outside of the Mode Tour exhibition hall in COEX. I was there on Nov 19, in the evening when workers were busy tearing down the venue setup! *whew*! I almost wanted to sneak away with one of his standee, then I remembered one of you gals commented before (I think it was @yuzu16) about the thoughts of transporting it on the plane back! Haha! With that I reluctantly bid farewell to his sweet standee :grimace:.

     

    Key observations during my latest visit:

    - SooHyun is the first celebrity who greeted me in Incheon Airport with his Paradise City ads

    - SooHyun’s Cuckoo ads can be seen around town

    - SooHyun’s huge Paradise City ads can also be seen strategically placed on TOP of a building directly opposite of the Lotte Department store in Myeongdong!

    - SooHyun’s Mode Tour film/ads is on repeat round the clock on all TVs in the Euljiro1-ga subway station. I stayed near this subway station so I get to admire his smiles at least twice a day! Hehe!

    - The big ZioZia store in Myeongdong is no longer there! It used to be a very prominent landmark to me because SooHyun’s huge poster used to be displayed at the exterior of the building! Oh well, not that I’m disappointed or what since our dear SooHyun is no longer modelling for them, ha!

    - One thing though, SooHyun’s merchandises are a little hard to come by now, things like calendar,  posters, cards, keychains etc. 

     

    Weather in Seoul and the surrounding Gangwon-do area are pretty cold. I totally didn’t expect a winter-like weather (with snow) in mid-November! I hope that dear SooHyun is keeping warm, and can’t wait to see the pictures that only @rossy79 and @hwonhwon_stv have had the privilege to view! :blush:

    After seeing this I have the sudden urge to rewatch The Producers. I have only watched it once when during its airing time, catching episodes week by week. I should try binge watching it again now as it will sure to bring out different experience.

     

    i first stumbled upon KSH’s King Lee Hwon character on TV in 2012. At that time it was my off-K-Drama period. I had stopped watching K-Drama for a few years then, and it was his super youthful appearance that caught my attention immediately. I think it was the episode when Yeon Wu regained her memory in the deserted room, and I thought that the drama was too dark to my liking. I didn’t pursue it and forget all about the actor who acted as King Lee Hwon. I didn’t even get to find out his name at that time! 

     

    Fast forward to MLFTS in early 2014. When all my friends were talking about it and this Prof Do, I continue to live my K-Drama free life and didn’t bother to check it out! Then later that year while on one of my flights home, I was trying to prevent jet lag by forcing myself to stay awake. Guess what? Some later episodes of MLFTS were available on board. Out of curiosity I checked it out!! And you can probably guess, that single trigger has changed my life totally since then. Point of no return! :D

     

    It it might have been DMJ who had sucked me into the ‘pit’ but the glimpse of that youthful King Lee Hwon in his red robe will never fade from my memory... it’s just too precious! :heart:

    Exactly, I wonder why some people take things so seriously.  I love to read his interviews.  His replies were either very factual (no sugar-coating) or added with a tinge of humor.  KSH has a good sense of humor.  Another attractive quality to have.  :wink:

     

    As for the BP event, I noticed that the baby has a sweet smile on her face when in KSH's arms.  Some people believe that babies able to sense goodness from a person.

    Oh btw let me say Hi to everyone. I'm a new fan. I heard about KSH hype in 2014-15 but was never interested in him as I didn't find Kim Soo Hyun attractive. Then I came across: My Love from the star (which I had actually intended to watch from years ago). I was pulled into that show like no other. It was a first for me. I loved the characters so much to the point of obsession. Not sure if it's chemistry of the cast or their acting or maybe both. I watched the BTS and NGS and I fell for KSH fun off screen personality and the boisterous laughter. I know am a bit late but Ill be watching all his projects in the following months.

    Let us all cheer up, KSH will be alright!  He even wanted to get into the two toughest divisions. :lol:

     

    Since his debut till today, he has garnered much respect and admiration (envy too) in the industry through his hard work.  KSH has good acting skills, good looks and what's more important is, he has good character and behavior.

    Most people tend to overlook this kind of sacrifices from celebrities like him. Wishing him a great training, and looking forward to more news in a couple weeks’ time!

    Yessssss, me too!  Imagine placing the desktop calendar in the office and flipping through it for next 12 months, hahahaha...

     

    This highlight "KSH's favourite travel destinations" in the mag cover also triggered my interest. 

     

    Tell me about it! I have his desktop calendar from The Face Shop 2 years ago still sitting firmly on my desk! That’s his best desktop calendar that I came across so far. All his photos featured in it were very well shot! I think this Modetour version will come close to it!

    What is this news about? What are they comparing there? I can't understand a single bit of Korean... :( LSG won't be discharged till next October right? Anyway, both are my fav actors (and singer), am eagerly looking forward to LSG's return as well.. :)

    I felt like I was in this state for the past few days.... Guess I have now passed the denial stage and I do sincerely want to see dear SooHyun giving his best serving his country and coming back to us healthier and stronger! :wub: Let's see how many times I will be rewatching all his dramas and movies during his absence... I am sure all of us here will be coping well, fighting!

    This is so true, @yuzu16, and I always love his Ziozia (and Beanpole) shoots! I can totally stare at those images the whole day :blush:. Friend got me some Ziozia Fall 2016 catalogs last year, gorgeous!! If I were there I might run away with his standee in the store, not just the catalogs! LOL! :unsure:
