    Haha... good quote!

From what we see onscreen, he's a good kisser too

Oh yeah, how could I forget his voice, @rossy79?! It's not those typical deep-toned manly voice yet very profound and rich, which somehow makes it very attractive to the ears. Well, at least to mine

Mhmm.. I always wonder how/where he practices his kissing skills from, and with whom?! Lol! :grimace:

    Any idea, gals?

These photos are very potent! My eyes are glued to my mobile phone screen and I can totally stare at those inviting lips of his forever!!

Thanks, @hwonhwon_stv, for posting those fan photos celebrating his 10th year anniversary. It is heartening to see/know that he has such dedicated bunch of fans who are accompanying him through thick and thin.

I was there last year and the wooden bench was already taken away.  The wooden bench was originally a Petizel advertisement  and Soo Hyun was not their spokesperson anymore so it makes sense it remove it.

I see. Glad that I still manage to take a photo with that  old bench when I last visited in Dec 2015!

Yes! Red and blue are prominent colors in Real and should play an important part in unraveling the story. I read some fans say blue represents drugs but I'm not sure what red represents, the story is quite difficult to understand but if you find the right clues, the puzzle should fall in place.  Perhaps if the director has more experience and can direct a more cohesive story line, Real would not receive the backlash it is getting.

Recovering from jet lag now? Must have been a very fulfilling trip for you. :)

Do you know if Real will be showing in the US?

Welcome to the forum @kayeseight! I was at one of the stage greetings tonight, Soo Hyun was really appreciative of all the fans support.  Tonight's stage greetings are exclusive to fan club members from different countries so only Soo Hyun was present.

He knows many fans are worried for him and concerned about the box office so he asked us not to give ourselves too much pressure in watching Real.  We are truly touched by his sincerity and attentiveness, we are worried about him but in turn  he is consoling us.  This guy really really deserves all the love and support fans shower him with.

Awww, so sweet of him..  Thanks for sharing this with us, @yuzu16. Somehow these stage greeting events feel so much more 'realistic' to me with you sharing your personal experience being a part of them, and...  You are still in Seoul!!!! Do continue to enjoy your stay there! Meeting gorgeous people *wink*, savouring great food and shopping to your heart's content! What a dream vacation you have there

I read this in another site and he got bashed for saying REAL is still his favourite work.  Like seriously, can't he even state his love for a work that he had poured his blood, sweat and all into it?  It's very puzzling to see such reactions.  I start to wonder why people are so hard on KSH and what do they want from him.  An apology or what?  Well, maybe I’m new to all this criticism rage stemming from a movie. *scary*

@klky007, I am absolutely with you on this take. The online bashing continues. These people seem to be enjoying the act very much, filling their comments with hatred and as if to try to beat others with the worst language they can possibly think of... Sending chills down my spine.. *scary*. Sounds like bunch of losers who are envious of others' success and are too eager to take pleasure out of stomping at them the moment they seize an opportunity to do so! What despicable act! I wonder if the situation would even  be half as bad had it been for another actor involved.

Can't help but feel really bad for KSH who has to endure these harsh treatments.

I do, however, respect those who provided their genuine comments be it good or bad. I am sure KSH would be mature enough to value them too.

Forgot to mention I had the pleasure to go to a few of the stage greetings, I got lucky one time and was pretty close to the stage.  Oh my, no wonder people say KSH is much more handsome in real life, he really is!  He is super adorable and young looking, his eyes are sharp and twinkling.  I can't wrap my head around the fact he is almost 30 years old, he could really pass as a young college student.

OMG, @yuzu16  :dizzy: You are actually in Korea and have attended not just one, but A FREAKING FEW of those stage greetings!!! I was wondering why you went all quiet here...   What a lucky gal you are! I could never imagine myself  seeing him in real life! So happy for you!

Also thanks so much for your movie review after watching it for 6 TIMES! *clap clap clap* I feel so much at ease now having read your review. Now I will just patiently wait for it to be shown in my country..

  10. Thanks for sharing this write up, @rossy79. This truly reflects how I felt about this whole saga:

"....This is not criticism but violence and mockery. When the work is released, it is appreciated. It may be favorable, but criticism may come out. The public who see the film is well qualified to do the evaluation. However, if a film is not rated well, it does not qualify as a mockery.

The language and actions that are currently taking place in 'Real' are more a mockery than criticism.

    ...."

These so-called 'criticism' appear to be driven by malicious intents more than anything else!

Hi rossy, thanks for sharing this.  I feel so bad for KSH because he was really excited during the interview. This can affect him really negatively. He has built his name thru years of acting. Well, I can't wait to see it. Crap movie? It got people moving so I guess that's good. And I don’t think taking on this movie was a mistake on his part. :o

To be honest I am puzzled and shocked by the extent of Knets' reactions to Real. I have not been following any Korea movie reviews prior to this, but do Knets generally bash and criticise a movie this brutally if the movie is not to their liking? Apart from KSH I feel bad for the actress as well, looks like she has tons of anti fans out there. As for our dear KSH, I believe that there are those who just can't wait to see him fail, hence jumping on the bandwagon for a 'joy' ride. Media will of course seize the opportunity to blow it out of proportion as that's part and parcel of their job anyway.... (No offence to those who are in this line of profession)

I am still in the state of total bewilderment...  can't wait to watch the movie to find out all about it!

  12. Very well said, @klky007 ! I am fully aligned with your thought. It was indeed a very bold move/choice by KSH. As true fans, we should know better what kind of an actor KSH has always aspired to be. His actions have all along been very consistent with what he meant/shared during his past and present interviews. An honest and unpretentious young man he is, and will always be. KSH, fighting!

  13. I am speechless seeing him in such emotional state on stage, he must have been under tremendous stress to not able to keep his composure at that very moment.. Poor Soo-Hyun.. :cold_sweat:

Reading through those interview articles that you gals shared here, I am thoroughly moved by his burning passion and desire to excel in every challenge that he took on. Such young man with such great determination in chasing his dream and goal! I am speechless yet again..

Really an inspiring and a charming young actor. Korea should be proud to have produced such a great star! Kim Soo Hyun, fighting!!
