nono don’t read me wrong. I am talking in reference to the awards determined by the judges only, namely the best actor/best actress and the Daesang.
the Frenzy I am referring to in this context is the general hype from fans all over the world revolving the Baeksang awards and in Baeksang tradition, the popularity awards is open for all internationally as a people’s choice awards and it’s awarded ultimately on a Korean stage.
Haha not everyone is like you that is aware of the fact that international fans yield no influence to move mountains with judges especially so if you follow intensively throughout SNS and even here, it’s not difficult to find that out, maybe even Bruno knows that pretty well too lol

All these frenzy reminds me of something someone always reminds me, the official awards given out by Baeksang are from Koreans to Koreans. They do not care how popular you are in another particular country if you are not even popular or outstanding in your own native country and that would be South Korea. Having a strong fan base or people who support your work there is a given.
everyone from your own respective countries can have your own views and bias and end up fighting among yourself or with others bias fans but don’t expect the Koreans panel of judges from any awards to share exactly the same sentiments towards your bias or your favorite TV drama/movie. That way you can keep any disappointment to the barest minimum and not complain about it later because ultimately whatever awards of any genre(including non-acting related ones) given to your Korean bias means nothing if it’s not awarded in Korea by an official body unless it’s an Oscar no less. That’s a very legit reason why seasoned or experienced fans of veteran korean artists or idols do not partake in anything that calls for voting outside of Korea since it makes no difference to their bias.
Again pls go through the many official references in Korea preferably in Hangul to know the lowdown of South Korea entertainment industry if you are not convinced.
This post is for the people who are not aware or have no clues and my above points are not in reference to the popularity awards. It’s for the awards that are determined by the judges like best actress/actor or even the Daesang

I am surprised Baeksang only give 1 week or so for voting, it’s usually a longer period previously. So let’s all give it all in this one week for the joy they brought us in CLOY!!
Important note to all: please do not engage with people who ask for money from the community to rally for more manpower to vote or use robots, TikTok auto purge out robotic votes. Vote diligently yourself in human form because this is the only way for them to receive the award in true honor!!
I believe you can catch the awards red carpet and the backstage (still unsure if the ceremony would be broadcast) on TikTok next fri so don’t delete it until you finish watching. At least you get something out of it from all the voting hahahahaha

the one in that tweet you quoted Feb was eating together in incheon and the video that’s just released is in Seoul quite to TVN I remembered. So ya they have dined together multiple times!

Can we do something fun? The official Baeksang nominees list for the public would be out on 8th which is this Friday. We probably get the heads up slightly earlier. Can you guys PM me your predictions for the nominees and see how many of them you got right?
Take note that would be no fan cam this year and you can only count on JTBC and the respective media that’s there to bring you closeups of our couple should they be there!

Its not my opinion, this is really just Dispatch in retrospect. In relation to this particular article, there is nothing more to it than what it is. That disclaimer at the end of that article pretty much says it all.
There is possibility that it could be a prelude to something breaking in the future. I am talking in specifics to this recent article by Dispatch only.

Ok honestly it’s going to take me another 2 weeks to finish reading 100 pages in full concentration and by then it would be another extra 100 pages or so to read and it’s going to be Baeksang awards by then which is June ya so lol I dunno how I can ever finish reading but I will want to share this very very seriously, only new content from Dispatch meaning something you have never seen on Binjin, should have your serious attention otherwise it’s probably just them reposting something from some other news outlet and testing the water level aka interest from the community and boy that was met with much fanfare and got everyone fired up over nothing really....they did put a disclaimer lol that this was from somewhere else but obviously no one saw that....
Please also only trust content from legit providers meaning media outlets that are credible. A lot of people assume a website with people that writes entertainment articles are media outlets and that’s totally untrue because they are just like blogs presented in a website format with no media affiliation whatsoever. If you do see new content that does not originate from Korea firsthand and its some random article you generated from a google source, don’t let this even bother you for the slightest bit because they usually hold no weight or truth.

Hmm it never occurred to me that him in stuff like Ralph Lauren can be deemed fancy? Make no mistake, those real fancy Dior outfits that he wears to events and stuff are sponsored, he is not known to buy fancy stuff like that. Probably SYJ is the fancier one between the 2 with her growing Hermès bag collection. The only fancy thing I could think of him is naming his building after his birthday. Next moving on to the “player” title you bestowed on him, well the only player in him that we know Hyun Bin as is a golf player really....-

Lol you be surprised that these fans who made such comments about SYJ are the exact fans who claimed to love her too much to have her married off. They want her to be always single. They feel they own her. Not necessarily when one talks bad about the other, it’s always the ones from the opposite camp.
Fans would always be fans no matter how hard you try. 99.99% have never even met these 2 people in their real lives and they both would never have known you existed too so don’t hoard something that you don’t own in the first place.

Hyun Bin actually meant that if he didn’t let go of her hand, they both would be hurt in that video. He did not say if I let go of your hand, we will both fall. That’s definitely translation or fans interpretation gone wrong somehow. Even in Netflix, they use the word “wounded” but listening to it in korean, I would use the word “hurt”
He felt that by letting her hands go, it would prevent her from getting hurt but YJ didn’t think so.

I think there is a misconception of Hyun Bin. This man is fearless when it comes to the woman he wants as long as the right woman is presented irregardless of age, status, wealth.
He shoulders up to a already then hallyu star SHK in his twenties and dated her despite him not being as well known or accomplished. What can he possibly be afraid of?
There is nothing standing in his track of getting the woman he wants now that he is even more mature in his late 30s with so much success.
He just happens to like to take it slow and easy.
If there is anything lacking in Hyun Bin, it’s not balls for sure.
Fret not, if Yejin is the woman he wants, he would pull out all stops for her as long as Yejin is willing.
Honestly, he is even willing to take all the bane for the denials being done so far just so Yejin’s image remains untainted and protected is a constant reminder that he is someone any women can depend on.-

Due to the lack of public response to my qns here, I decided to complete my own assignment by just watching random scenes of Yejin and some BTS with all her previous co-stars and I actually regretted to be honest lol
I think that explains why the response I get is so lukewarm here.so in order for me to stay sane and rational, I went to rerun CLOY for the 8th time from ep 1 onwards, and it didn’t take long for me to forget whatever I saw earlier after these 2 moments in ep 1 came up and I just had to take a picture off my TV
Even in times of danger and uncertainty, they don’t fail to affirm their affection for each other.
I knew the minute I saw these moments that Hyun Bin and Son Yejin can never escape from each other clutches even in real life.
They truly are just made for each other.-

And since so many of you are here now and some hung up on whether HB got how many brothers or whether he have completed masters and so many of you can analyze from top to bottom of them, how is it that no Yejin fans here since there is an army of you guys can provide me more info on 1) her family background? 2) do you realize or observe or feel that HB was the only one she allowed to be this comfortable and do all these skinships with her based on your observations especially so if you are a long time fan?
Please share generously with me your insights and thoughts or facts you know regarding my qns.

A: We're not public figures, so I don't know why people call us public figures. We're just people who are famous to the public.

Are we public figures because the public can see, imitate, and learn from us, but why are we public figures because we're not elected? But I think it is because of the speciality of my job that makes me a famous figure. I am just a person who became famous because of the job that I do. It's indeed very vague, but it is not easy to separate things into the private from the public.

A: That’s why I'm trying to do more (referring to the separation). I am thinking and I ask myself, if I reach a situation where there are a lot of people who know me well personally, would they want to see me when I am on the screen? If they have a lot more data about me than I've got out there, do you think they would be curious? If it’s me, I don't think I would be curious about such a person. Of course, there are people whom I know who appear on the screen and it can be more fun watching them, but I still think it would be a lot better to not know.

That’s why I adore his intellect. You take money from someone who buys out your company with a pretty sum and reinvested all that and more back into the same company and reap profits from the entire group! That’s sound investment. And all that while continuing to stay at the helm. He has everything to gain and nothing to lose at this deal.
and to me, Hyun Bin having done dramas by Kim Eun Sook for Secret Garden and Park Ji Eun for Crash Landing on You, he pretty much have done it all for his drama career. I haven’t seen anyone who has done any Kim Eun Sook drama not raising to phenomenal success by just looking at all the stars she has casted. Hyun Bin even got a Daesang at Baeksang awards right away for Secret Garden.
What Hyun Bin is lacking in his portfolio is being a husband and having his own children. It would be the proudest moment for any self respecting fan to see his Wikipedia complete with spouse and children information.
That pretty much completes him. Let’s all hope this all shall come soon. Amen-
