Ya talk about influence to the celebrities from other countries, even in Taiwan our female celebrities are mostly watching CLOY, from our singers to actress and now a few of them even want to go to Switzerland for paragliding to crash land on their husbands/boyfriends...but then again it’s not going to be JH so it’s not ever going to be the same LOL
I am only upset at the fact they are not going to any promotional tours for CLOY.
I hope he can come to Taiwan for his new movie promo with Hwang Jung Min so I ask him the burning question I have for him and possibly end up being silenced by his escorts?! LOLlastly comes the big question, how do we all get by this coming weekend without CLOY?
PS: haha I noticed a lot of people from the Philippines loved watching kdrama here! Can you all support Taiwanese drama/movies too? We have eye candies too...

I did mentioned before she was inspired more than 10 years ago and I shall expand it here since many are curious
Writer Park Ji Eun was inspired in 2008 where a report of a South Korean actress Jung Yang boating adventure was swept away due to bad weather and ended her up in the border of North Korea and she had to make a quick exit
this was originally planned to be a fantasy rom com and so we have CLOY and evidently she choose paragliding among the various modes of transport to crash land on JHgenius writer isn’t she? This is the umpteen time I am professing my admiration for Writer Park Ji Eun!
this is the very reason I was excited about CLOY since early 2019 and wanted to see how writer park expand her inspiration into a fantasy rom com and boy she nailed it

Should be a significant sum for music production but they will make a profit from the OST anyways. And I like the fact they added in snippets of the drama for the musicians to immense themselves into
my favourite line would be from JH:
“I have been looking for you everywhere”
~underrated 1 liner but impactful~
how to get over the withdrawal symptoms would be to wake up and sleep in to Sigriwil both vocal and instrumental...and while driving I listen to it too and I smile to it!

I totally totally understand the heart of a shipper!
Seeing all of you staying so positive despite all these denials from VAST makes me feel you guys are emotionally so strong!
OSEN is credible but I say wait for DISPATCH! If by next year Jan they don’t give you guys anything affirmative on them, then just take it with your heads held up high and relish the journey you had.

I kind of found Son Ye Jin's acting more convincing in the swiss scene.Throughout the series both of them were at par in terms of acting.But in the finale scene SYJ nailed it.She managed to outshine Hyun Bin by a little margin.It really shows how great as an actor she is.She remained connected as Seri throughout the 16 episode and her acting felt according to the timeline.Even HB was great but the last scene felt little out of the place for me, like it was not in continuation.SYJ definitely deserves a daesang.HB already has one though.
my POV could be the direction or script that entails him to look jaded because he could only wait so long to finally get to be at peace with his gal. This is to show the realism of a long separation and he rightfully depicted that. In reality if a couple would have to wait these many years and soar mountains just to meet and only for a short span of time, wouldn’t anyone looked as bittersweet as he did?-

and the goblin fans whom are unhappy should take it up with Nielsen and not with the drama! Nielsen cannot be wrong to give the overall rating for every kdrama there is and the peak each time determines what is a hot favourite scene per episode. This is vital info since peak advertising slots sell for more money. The fact is CLOY is number 1 for TVN for now

First up, seriously a big shout out and sending love to writer Park Ji Eun whom have clapped much louder than most others while watching with the rest of CLOY team for the grand finale and was more than elated that her characters were so brought to life by these actors whom have at least used up 2 boxes of my Kleenex! Without your story, there would no CLOY! SALUTE! Hence I decided to pen this.
Writer Park had this story to tell since some 10 years ago where she was inspired.Her story was never about unification nor going down any political route. It’s to highlight how love will not be divided no matter where you are.
She wanted to tell a love story that transcends boundaries
I want to also share with you all that Knet is showing so much love and appreciation for Writer Park because she could have stopped at the paragliding scene and have everyone crying for more because obviously as seen in most comments everywhere on the internet “enough is not enough” hence she gave closure in the final end with them together happily in Switzerland irregadless.If anyone of you have the time, do read up on this amazing writer, read up on her interviews for CLOY, what CLOY means to her etc and you will find peace and closure in ep 16
till the next park ji eun story we shall meet....

I have to say the ending is true to the writer’s style. She is known for that kind of beautiful fantasy sort of ending that lets you imagine it the way you wanna it to be.

They are not married but get to be together 2 weeks in a year thanks to Seri sponsorship
But it’s ok all of you can decide they got married, lots of bed scenes we don’t know about and she getting pregnant during that 2 weeks whatever. Afterall we are the ones watching isn’t it

You guys are so lucky to only see the Switzerland spoiler now 1 hr before airing ep 16! While me and the others who have seen the apparent original script leaks from the writers for the ending since ep 3?! Knowing how it might possibly ends makes me lost...and throughout the drama I keep trying to connect them to the possible ending...which is why I have decided not to see any leaks in future
which is why I am only hoping for another ending different from the original...Chaebal~~PS: for those who are confused or unsure, script leaks and all relevant leaks are very very common in Korea and can come from respective sources if you know where to look. But really don’t bother if you want to enjoy the drama, I regretted for sure lol

That’s why I love soompi! Different people different strokes, everyone has their own preferred endings....
it seems that the Koreans are conditioned to embrace the Switzerland ending more due to the images and leaks they have seen right from the start and that way they can both be free irregadless of nationality.
While the Chinese wants babies and marriageand while here everyone is pretty much conjuring up their dream ending...
such is the beauty of a powerhouse drama and I loved it

Contrary to the talks earlier about ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, ep 15 hits the all time new high ratings with an average nationwide rating of 17.1 percent and a peak of 19.2 percent!
what’s amazing is with female viewers in their forties, among whom it scored a peak rating of 26.1 percent. Wow!!
that means it did surpass some 19 and 26 at some point of time and that is extremely amazing! Netflix are you happy now?
ok now I am looking forward to the finale grand ratings tonight. Almost there soon and I am pretty much prepared with everything I need for a smashing ending!

I do believe we have fresh Korean drama watchers within our midst that’s why this information has been lost throughout the years.
Hence the sharing of this realistic bit. But then of course you would have known by now most don’t want to relate to reality and just want the fantasy of it all. Haha I am not sure if it’s any hope for anyone but we shall all find out in half a day
And back to this topic of CLOY being a romcom, the only thing I found romantic for me in ep 15 would be his come-hither look on her all while carrying an umbrella in the rain no less...where is the baby now?
That analogy about introverts(he confessed to being one) playing out emotional scenes so much better holds so much truth because this man hits all the right spots thus far.
