I agree with you guys that his songs are very Western influenced, which is exactly what's so nice and refreshing about it [the western style is folk-indie rock, and not pop, another nice thing about it]. Maybe that's why it's good to us and not...Koreans...? T_T

And to someone above who said Yuri's voice is pretty: I AGREE!!! I think she's really overlooked. Among SNSD I notice she never goes off-key despite the arduous dancing XD also her voice sounds really pretty! too bad she's the actress/dancer of the group o_O i'd love to see her be in the "singing" group (Sunny, Jess, Tiff, Tae - actually Sunny goes out of tune lots of times T_T).
Oh, and, Jess's performance was very good as well. I think the song suits her. She has a particular voice that needs the right song

waaa thanks for the MV! Such a good song YET AGAIN! I love, love, love his 1st album - so refreshing and different from most pop albums.
But Korean people's music taste is sort of...odd (to me at least) XD many good bands and singers are considered "underground" because their music is different T_T i hope Evan does well with this album
oh, one question: someone on youtube said the lyrics of his main song are really good. Can someone give me an idea what it is about (the song)? You don't need to translate the whole song, just teh gist of it is enough ^__________^ thanks so much in advance <3

SKIP BEAT!!! READ IT!
Synopsis: ...don't pay attention to it. When I first read the synopsis, I didn't think too highly of the series. BUT there is so, so much more to the "surface" premise.
I just needed somewhere to spazz XD It's SUCH a great series. If you love Glass Mask, you'll LOVE this series. If you don't love Glass Mask, you'll like this series as well lolz, because it has all the great things in Glass Mask (DRAMA, ACTING, the showbiz world), minus the not so great details of Glass Mask, such as wimpy female lead (the main female lead of SB is HILARIOUS - she's sweet, crazy, scary, weird, persistent, clueless, smart...the list goes on, and no, she doesn't have multi-personality disorder). The romance is REALLY, REALLY sweet - there are scenes that will make you squeal in delight. There is no black-and-white good/bad characters - no one is purely evil, and no one is purely saint, which makes it so great.
Don't judge the series by its STARTING storyline. The premise is only an excuse to expose our main character to a crazy ride of her life, one which she definitely enjoys, and so will we.

Though they are best with their signature style, I don't see any harm done having some fun with Brit's music

I don't think I've listened to his previous albums, but I have his single album not too long ago and it was great. This 4th album is really nice as well, since he doesn't have all ballads but also some groovy r'n'b songs

SM seems to have the right ears (hahaha saying this about an entertainment company might sound vain, on my part o_O, but...lots of company don't, if you know what i mean) in choosing duets. Their voices match well, although the song is very simple (urg Kangta be more creative will you? ><) they sound harmonious and that's what counts.The rest of the songs, as expected, are all a little too poppish XD but their concept is "doll", after all. They did a good job

Can I just say Yoona looks absolutely stunning? She didn't impress me much before, since her eyes always seem a little sunken (although she's quite a natural beauty), but the make-up this time is JUST right.

Just started watching this today, and omg this is so fabulously done! I've been out of touch with kdrama for so long, and this drama reminds me how good kdrama can be (after so many mediocre ones). I know there's been comparison with Grey's Anatomy, and though it's unjust, I can't help but feel there're similarities
like...there's a similar feel, in a good way. From the way they interact, to the gorgeous soundtrack, to the narration by the main character. Of course, due to cultural differences, the focus of each series is different, and each one is unique by its own. I wish there were another season T_Tedit: the only complaints I might have are the over-dramatic music and the over-dramatic storyline of Dr.Lee (agree with someone posting above: I skipped most of the scenes with Dr.Lee, although I really like him in the first few eps and his romantic scenes with Dal Hee made me squeal

so yeah i think you got it right? i've been watching hana kimi lately and i noticed how they would say "pro/noun + の + こと". like for example, お前のことが。。。or 佐野おやじのことは。。。 according to rikaichan, it means: thing, matter, fact... so, i don't really understand why こと is being added. can anyone explain why they add this?I think I asked my teacher, who's native Japanese, once, and she can't really explain it either o_O It's like...natural speech. Make it more formal, I guess? It's close to "regarding you..." or like "as to you/somebody'snamehere...". Even when you say you like somebody (romantically), you can say: きみのこと, だいすきです。
