On the August 29 broadcast of KBS2 variety show “Entertainment Weekly,” gagman and TV personality Jung Joon Ha features as the star for the show’s guerrilla date corner.

During the interview following the guerrilla date, Jung Joon Ha showcases the rapping skills he’s developed thanks to his recent interest in hip hop.

Reporter Kim Saeng Min comments, “You must have gotten hardcore training with Yoon Sang,” referring to the other half of his team during the “Infinity Challenge” music festival.

To the question of whether he’s just copying his close friend actor and hip hop aficionado So Ji Sub, Jung Joon Ha replies, “So Ji Sub is someone who truly likes hip hop and is crazy about hip hop,” and “I like hip hop, but hip hop people don’t like me rapping.”

Let’s go together 2015 in Japan has ended successfully ..

 

As you know,FM 2015 tour theme is TRAVELING,whole Asia tour as well.

Also FM Japan had a “Q&A” short movie about traveling,

Then asked his traveling  with his own style. I guess  “Q&A”  was almost same as the previous Asia tour..
 

*Must-carry-on with his travel? : watches  , hats/caps

Also he mentioned that he’s wearing his personal watches on his drama shooting as usual.^^

*Must-buy-for-souvenirs? : snow domes (what?!!! LOL) 

He said that he had a lighting type one..wow~ROMANTIC MAN!! LOL

However he’d forgotten it where ’s souvenir from?..haha

Fans wrote that SJS was very polite. When fans called his name, he was turning around and wave his hand and give a sweet smile. She wrote too that Japanese fans are very different, they are more calm. Stay in line to welcomed Jisub. No chasing or tried to approach. They respect to Jisub's privacy. Wow...

One thing I observed, different with the fans from Taiwan and Shanghai, from some short video uploaded on weibo,I saw that many viewers in Japan FM are already in middle-aged and I'm sure they are already mothers. It's so funny to see Jisub & Soul Dive and these mothers sang and dance together. Jisub fans apparently of all ages.

To invite Jisub as a cast, the director paid him several visits, and he acted for FREE in the movie. He decided to take the role because he likes the script, despite that he only has three scenes.

Director says, "So Jisub's role, although only three scenes in the film, but in the movie it is of far-reaching significance. In fact, although he was in trouble, but finally decided to free play. So Jisub acts very carefully, do not relax even during the filming of the scene for a second, is a very good actor, and this is very appreciated."

So Ji-sub makes a cameo in ‘The Throne’

 

 

South Korean actor So Ji-sub is set to make a cameo in the movie “The Throne” without getting paid, a local film distributor Showbox on Wednesday.

So is slotted for the role of King Jeongjo who had to witness the tragic death of his father, Crown Prince Sado.

In a photo released by the distributor, So looks rather gloomy during his coronation ceremony.

 

 

So said in an interview, “I just think the role itself is important no matter how trivial it is. It has been a wonderful experience working with director Lee Joon-ik.” So is going to appear in only three scenes but the impact of his appearance is expected to be huge.

Meanwhile, Lee said the role So plays is important. “I wanted to show people that link between these three characters, Crown Prince Sado, his dad King Yeongjo and son Jeongjo to shed new light on a historical event involving three generations of rulers in the Joseon Dynasty.

“The Throne” is based on an historical event in which King Yeongjo of the Joseon era executed his son Sado by locking him in a rice chest for eight days. The film, to be released on Sept. 16, stars Song Kang-Ho, Yoo Ah-in and So Ji-sub.

Hi, ye, I heard that too - they say that the drama  "Oh My God" is going to air on Mon-Tues on KBS starting in December. Initially, I had heard the drama was being eyed for Wed-Thurs. The leads are so charming to watch onscreen considering that their Giordano CF couplings prove without a doubt that chemistry is good between them. So, I’m not too worried about the plot since I trust them to make it work, whatever. I just hope we could get to hear the time slot for certain soon.  I don’t mind waiting..... This drama has 16EPs.....

So Ji Sub wraps up Asia fan meeting tour in Japan

 

Actor So Ji Sub held two fan meetings in end-August recently in Japan, where he met 8,000 local fans, and successfully concluded his second Asia fan meeting tour.

Starting from July 25th, the fan meeting tour headed to Taiwan and Mainland China, before heading to Kobe International House on August 28th, and Tokyo Nakano Sunplaza Hotel on August 30th, where he met 4,000 Japanese fans at each session.

So Ji Sub appeared in a neat blue suit where he greeted fans in Japanese, before changing to black and white outfits for his hip-hop performances, as he showed off contrasting styles.

Thereafter, he dressed in a casual t-shirt and denim jeans complete with sunglasses, as he read off a book, and showed off his intellectual side with his soothing voice.

In the two hours long fan meeting, So Ji Sub not only performed songs like ‘Picnic,’ ‘Erase,’ ‘That story,’ but also new songs like ‘SO GANZI’ and ‘Cola Bottle BABY,’ as he showed off his hip-hop image. Fans started standing when So Ji Sub performed his first song, and remained so until the end.

At the final fan meeting in Tokyo, So Ji Sub came out in his ‘SO GANZI’ MV clothes, and it was like he had walked out from the MV itself.

So Ji Sub would always prepare surprise gifts for 3 lucky fans at fan meetings, and they got to go away with his agency 51k t-shirt, caps, and socks with the ’51′ logo, as well as personally made candles. Fans who were lucky enough to be chosen, couldn’t conceal their happiness, and So Ji Sub provided ample fan service by putting on the caps for them even.

Meanwhile, So Ji Sub showed his mature rapper image with the release of his songs and music videos for ‘SO GANZI(BLACK),’ ‘SO GANZI(WHITE),’ and ‘Cola Bottle BABY’ in July and August.

Hi mathi, thanks for sharing this. That's why, this movie is also known as "Sado" - Ye, from the released stills & those photos you posted above, you can sense he's in mourning. By accepting this cameo role I can say that SJS values the importance of the role rather than its screen-time. Besides, I guess this film has a good script. I read from an article that he had a great time filming this movie. And he would love to work with the director again if he gets the chance. The director was so thankful to him that he accepted doing this cameo. Can't wait for September 16 mainly for SJS!

mathi, also, thanks for sharing this. I hope So Ji-sub can contribute to the OST of this drama. Wow, this would be fantastic if this happens! His voice needs to be on the soundtrack!  Can’t wait to watch this drama as well. Besides, I like Shin Min Ah….she's so pretty.She is one of the few actresses who is naturally both sweet and sexy.I love both these actors so much! I’m sure they will definitely rock this rom-com without a single doubt! Now we get to see them both heating up the screen! I just find the title weird. I do not like it so much.But the concept is totally promising for me. Please let this drama be good. Nowadays, I needed another drama to make me laugh. I miss him on my screen.Daebak!
