- We heard that the members did a review of your performance.

At first it was Andy, but then it was Minwoo who kept up with the reviews. If he couldn’t watch it live, he would watch it online. “What’s that on your head?”, “Looks like Zorro’s mask”, “You don’t do a crying scene like that”, he said all kinds of irrelevant things (laughs). But throughout it all, he always sent nice messages of concern like “It must be tough on you to be outdoors on a hot day for the whole time”.

- Is there anything you’d like to say to the Shinhwa members?

Guys, I love you (laughs). Actually my biggest regret is not being able to go on a trip with just the members, without any staff members following along.

- Shinhwa members have been occupied with their solo activities, and many fans are worried about the possibility of disbanding.

That’s not our intention at all, those are just rumours. It’s impossible for Shinhwa to disband now even if we wanted to. Shinhwa doesn’t just belong to us, it also belongs to the fans and people who love us. Although we’re now focusing on our solo work, but I feel that a group will move in a better direction with solo activities. The only thing that’s different now is the way we work, there isn’t any intention of disbanding. As the longest-running group in Korea, it would be a pity to stop now. We can go on breaking records if we continue (laughs).

What has been the biggest change in your life after you’ve enlisted?

Because it’s a fixed working schedule, I get to work and knock off at fixed timings, and my lifestyle is more regular now. And, I have a lot more personal time now. I’ve been busy with writing songs and playing games (laughs). Looking for good food and fishing is fun too.

- How does it feel living a regular life? And fans who visit your workplace, are there any incidents?

I’ve been in showbiz for 10 years before enlisting, and it’s great to be able to step out of it and reflect on myself objectively. This is exactly what I’ve wanted.

Hello loves. I'm back to ramble in this space! Just something random to share here... Remember, awhile back, in an interview, Kim Na Young mentioned about her crazy interview with Shinhwa? Well, obviously we've all seen that interview, yes. (If you haven't, watch it!!!) But yes, I was too bored, and have too much free time, so I decided to find that vid of her mentioning Shinhwa.

shinhwa mentioned at 03:55 minute.

And they did play a snippet of that crazy interview, and I went crazy for no reason. It's the most memorable and craziest shinhwa interview what. Here's some random SC of shinhwa being mentioned.

Omg, I hope this post is not too redundant. I'm just excited whenever Shinhwa is mentioned in any shows despite them not being there.

You know, about the whole Mr.R versions of Shinhwa songs...all we have to do is watch some of the live band versions of the songs they do for concerts (particularly the 2006 State of the Art Asia Tour Concerts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46JnDawlvjU) since there are no recorded vocals to begin with ^__^ Better quality too~ There is live chorus, but it's minimal and distinct from the members' singing. Always liked the live band version of Hey! Come on and Only one. Makes me want to bust out my DVDs lol

I just read this off some korean and chinese sites and I thought it's so CUTE.

They were describing the relationships between artistes and fanclubs.

So these are said about SHINHWA + SHINHWA CHANGJO

- Long term relationship, soulmates

- Understand one another very well

- The fans are concerned about when the members will be getting married! haha lol

Some hilarious incidents:

- it was the end of some music programme and there were 5 fans waiting for shinhwa at the carpark area and there were many other fans were for other artistes as well. Some artistes just drove by without stopping to wave to the fans, causing some of the fans to burst into tears.. Eric's car came, stopped for the fans for a little while. (I have no idea why this happened) but the other shinhwa members started kicking the car so that Eric would come out of the car to say hi to the fans. This caused an uproar of laughter among all the fans there.

- Dormitory incidents:

- There was once where some fans were waiting outside shinhwa's dorm, eating ja jangmyun, when someone sprayed water at them. It was Eric and Junjin shooting the water at them with a water gun from the top

Whoa! Just finished watching Brand New Story, and its a long one. But worth it. I am so happy.

Anyways, I have a question during Brand New Story in Summer Story Festival Mnet 2005 at Seoul Stadium, I noticed that in Brand New and Perfect Man performances, Minwoo was gone, where was he and what happened to him?

Anyways, I have a question during Brand New Story in Summer Story Festival Mnet 2005 at Seoul Stadium, I noticed that in Brand New and Perfect Man performances, Minwoo was gone, where was he and what happened to him?

^ He hurt his ankle very badly when he was filming of Heroine 6 b/c he was running around and playing with a kid =.=|||

Didn't get it fixed and went on performing...then they had Summer Story concert soon after and he hurt the same leg again during Standby. He went back on to complete his solo stage (including the first time M.A.R.S. was onstage together ), but the pain was too much for the last few stages of the concert and he went to the hospital. It's really was quite something for the rest of the members to pull off the last few stages by themselves.

You can see the rest of the members panicking and fussing over him:

There's a news clip of him being carried onto a stretcher and then wheeled away to the ambulance after the performance, but I can't remember which one it is right now

Poor Minwoo, he was totally in pain. He is a true performer, in order to make the fans happy, he still performed and try to dance. Im really impressed of him.

crystalis, i just rewatched that clip of M being so brave. i've not watched that clip for over 2years probably? couldn't help but cry when i saw that. he was so good. he proves that shinhwa deserves our love!

nglkt, thanks for all those fan recounts etc. they sprayed water at the fans? they might have been thinking, 'let's send the fans home(cause they love us) so, we'll make it seem like it's raining!' heehee. at least, that's what i imagine our erilien would think. heh.

Eric’s Screening Event

An Opportunity for All Singaporean Shinhwa Fans

As you may or may not be aware, Eric’s management Top Class Entertainment has contacted us about holding Eric’s video screening (see information here)in Singapore.

Initially the condition of holding a screening event in Singapore was a guaranteed minimum of 600 fans attending.

Unfortunately as this is realistically beyond our capabilities, we informed them so and regretfully had to decline.

However Top Class Entertainment has contacted us again and reduced their minimum to 350 fans attending. This is still a large number but we are willing to try and work to this number as we believe this is an opportunity for all Shinhwa fans.

We strongly believe that the reason they have not only approached Singapore but even reduced their minimum capacity is because of the trust they have formed with Singapore fans from the great successes we’ve had with past Shinhwa related events. Therefore just as these past events has led to this Eric event in Singapore, we believe that once Shinhwa re-groups and holds world-wide tours, (which we have no doubt they will) depending on the continued success of the individual member events, Shinhwa will again return to Singapore with the firm knowledge that many will turn up to support their concerts.

We also have strong evidence to believe that future K-Pop concerts are inclined to hold their concerts in Singapore over Thailand. This is undoubtedly a great opportunity for all Singaporean music fans.

It is up to ALL of us to show that our support is unwavered during the time Shinhwa is on hiatus, and that we will continue to support and turn up to their events now and four years down the track too. So we are asking all Eric supporters, Shinhwa supporters or even general K-music supporters to reply to this thread if you are CONFIRMED that you can attend the Eric Screening Event during the period of 21st or 28th of March.

Please feel free to post this notice up on other websites where people may be interested. Every reply counts! Once we get at least 350 positive replies, we will immediately contact Top Class Entertainment to give them the go ahead to come to Singapore and hopefully many more great events will come searching for Singapore as their number 1 stop in the future!

It's been so long since I last replied here. I feel bad. ):

Thank you so much for posting all the different video links. I miss seeing them together and all this video is just the thing to help me.

I totally teared up when I was watching Minwoo suffering through his injury and when I watched the other members fussing over him.

I have a question, when is the dateline for the Shinhwa 11th project? Is it too late to participate? I'm gonna see what I can do to join in the fun.

And another thing, I was watching SGB the other day, in one of the segment, the question was 'who has won the KBS Deasang?' I was searching for Shinhwa's name under the 20 singers (groups and solos) they gave as potential answer but it's not there. My question is when they won the Daesang in 2004, which award presentation was it from? My memory is failing me right now. hehehehe.

Their 11th anniversary is less than a month's time, and I'm feeling excited.
