LOL yup! It so cute! Can just imagine it LOL Minwoo said that it was right after his concert and it happened to be Kyung Lim's wedding the day after his concert so he was tired. And when he woke up, the wedding was already over and so he decided to call KL. But Eric was sleeping on his arm and so his arm fell asleep and he had to reach over Eric to get the phone to call her to aplogize and yea ... LOL You should watch it! It is so funny. Hey guys, long time no see! I've been offline(ish) as I went to New York City for two weeks, having one of the best holidays of my life. Anyway, I did miss my fandomy activities like keeping up with Shinhwa, BUT on the plus side I bought two Shinhwa albums (vol 1 and 5) from NYC's tiny Koreatown.

Speaking of which, I've been listening to their first album a lot since I got back home and I love it. It's very 1990's in terms of sound but it's so catchy and has some really awesome songs like Eusha! Eusha! and Rock & Roll Summer and Hae Gyl Sah and ...some other songs I love but can't quite romanize.

Anyway, it REALLY surprised because I always assumed that their first album didn't do well because they were somehow lacking as they were so new and hadn't quite learned some things yet. But the album's really good and awesome and filled with what sound like hit songs.. And even more surprising, Shinhwa are already pretty good in terms of vocals etc. I'm listening to a ballad track now and Hyesung's vocals are almost as powerful as their later best songs.

I'm even warming up to their 1990s look. When I first got into Shinhwa, my eyes would bleed seeing pics of their debut years (the fashion).. Now I'm just like, "Aww, they're so young!".

The black & white pictures in the first album booklet are pretty neat, too. I love the picture of WooDong next to the lyrics of the last song. If I can't find it online - any help would be appreciated! - I might scan it so I can icon it.

To reply to some things in the thread - I too love all the couples. I have my favourites over others (JinSyung, RicDy, WooDong, RicSyung, WanDy) but really I just love any Shinhwa members together. Thanks to whoever posted the multiplication table, very handy on keeping track of couple names.

The Birds performance was hilarious. They were SO over-doing it. I also loved how it seemed like Hyesung couldn't keep a straight face doing those silly dance steps, it's like he was just having too much fun. JinSyung <333

On the ratings, I believe back in 2006, a news article complimented Shinhwa as ratings-kings in these game shows/talk shows. I can't remember the particular show they referenced to either...but I am not surprised. They are entertaining to watch even as a casual watcher.

About Golden Fishery, the guests on the other days are not famous...probably that is the reason for lack of ratings on those days too. I wonder if ratings for other more famous people will also have the same effect on the shows' ratings.
