Mullet Hairstyle [update: New Pics!]

i really wanna get one but im so scared it'll turn out hideous because my hair is like my most prized possession. right now, my hair is pretty longish, it goes halfway down my back - or a little above halfawy. it is slightly layered, coz the last time i got my hair cut was a while ago, and its pretty straight and quite thin. i have a side fringe, but its kinda growing out. so im going to get a haircut soon. i really like these two pics

thats how i want my hair to be. like long but with shorter layers at the top.

what do you guys suggest I do, to make sure it comes out right?

and dw too much if it doesnt turn out right..coz im pretty sure mine grew out pretty quickly

soompifan99, as said before, print out the pictures and take them to a high end hair stylist. One that specialises in Asian hair.

I just got my hair done like this at the beginning of September. Very easy to manage and style!! Well worth it!! Don't forget, hairspray is your friend.

well i had to cut my own damn hair cause when i was at the shop. the chicks were like OMG your gonna have a mullet.. and then they decided for me that i shouldn't.. ha nice of them huh? well when i got home. i chopped it all up.. and here was my results.. just how i like it....

That's a REALLY good DIY job there!! Was it hard to do the back too though?

Does EVERYONE here style and tease their mullet? Cause my friend was like, "Oh! you should tease it!" (I hadn't seen her for a few months since I got my mullet hair), but my hair is naturally poofy and voluminous (ew) at the top and since it was really thinned out at the bottom... I felt it looked fine without teasing (sometimes I style it so that you can see more 'texture, but aside from that...).

hmm ive been looking for this hairstyle for a long time but i dont know if i should get it (once i grow my hair longer) i have a roundish-ovalish face so u think it would work? cuz ive noticed a lot of the girls that get it have an oval face lol
