Keep Fit Like Park Shin Hye

Actress Park Shin Hye reveals her newly toned body shape in the April issue of Elle Girl with a healthier and more mature look. This after she started working out regularly after joining the Nike Training Club. The Nike Training Clubs aims to encourage women in their 20s to lead a healthier lifestyle with regular exercising and hopes to get more to adopt this as a part of their life with their Be Transformed campaign. You will be able to hear Park Shin Hye's thoughts about this through her interview in the latest issue of Elle Girl.

PSH has a very feminine look in my book. She's not outright pretty but the more you see her, the "real beauty" comes out. I am not a big fan of her etude ad (except for the ones with JGS for obvious reasons), but naturally she is so cute and adorable. I was surprised to see that side of PSH in YAB.

jyinn, after seeing her in YAB, I think PSH can pull off the role in BOF. But I thin luckily for her, she was chosen for YAB instead - GMN is a much better and more interesting character in my book. Plus toe coolness she portrays as the real GMN is worth mentioning.

I think PSH will shine the best in emotional role. She can be "the queen of tears". But I hope she will choose her role wisely so that her acting can always touch the audience's heart.

I don't recall that it is the case for Korean entertainment industry. But PSH & JGS have done a lot of projects together. They should just DATE!

I am glad that PSH will not become another Choi Ji Woo! With all respect to CJW’s fan, I find her super boring, like an icy princess who cries and cries (Winter sonata *cough*). I believe PSH will advance in more dimensional roles.

But she shines in ep15 of YAB in particular. The aquarium scene when MN “talks back” to TK was so well-acted by PSH. I could feel her pain and subtle anger. And of course, the separation scene was great between PSH-JGS.

Arg, I do not pay much attention to Korean actresses but PSH has become one of my fav now!

I am happy that they rejected BOF and accepted YB (sure for JGS, but m not sure for PSH whether she rejected it or got rejected for the role). BOF is trite. I skipped that one since its first episode.

Acting is still underrated. Plot has no new improvement. I am so fed up watching Taiwanese and Japanese version. Beside it is somehow badly directed. I think that BOF got popular because of it big money in going to different places for shooting.

I don't read Korean but from what I gathered through Google translator, it says that there was a poll about who has the best V-line and of the 788 voters, 39% chose Park Shin Hye, beating out Kim Tae Hee, who was in second place with 31% of the votes.

Side note: I noticed that Koreans are very into alphabetizing their body types! I had no idea what a V-line could be so I looked it up and here's what The Grand Narrative provided:

* M-line (abdominals, for men)

* S-line (breasts and buttocks, viewed from the side)

* U-line (exposed lower back)

* V-line (one for face, and another for the line in-between breasts)

* W-line (breasts)

* X-line (long legs and arms, with a narrow waist)

I think in this instance, the V-line they're referring to is the shape of the face. It's great that Park Shin Hye was voted first place because Kim Tae Hee is really well-known and admired for her V-line

i beLieve so too! she can totaLLy puLL off the character of jandi. but good thing she wasn't casted in BOF. she was perfect as GMN in YB! thank God for that! ^____^

PSH sure can cry! a very effective drama actress. i think drama (or heavy drama) is her forte though. ^^
