For my case, I kinda told my parents about auditioning and becoming a singer.

Hmm.. They were supportive of it. And told me that I should get voice lessons to improve. HAHA.

But I don't know whether I should take them because it's kinda expensive. ><;

So in the end, the whole house knows my ambition. My mom wants me to sing in front of her, Blah blah...

As well as going to Korea to study etc.

Word sure travels around fast!

I'm currently practising by my own.

And I'm planning to audition for JYP this year,

But I dont know when yet. Because I'm not ready.

My voice is too kiddish.

not saying this is true.. but JYP is always looked at like the 'Dance' image.

or that's just what people around me are always saying.

i think that they look specifically at your dancing when auditions are held since that's what they're famous for.

all their artists are talented singers too of course, but that's just what my thinking is.

sungiebaby637: You can still try again ^ ^ However, they do not send you a notice saying that you did not get in and or suggestions. So it's kinda hard to figure out why they didn't accept you. So the best thing to do is if you find out you didn't get accepted is show the tape to some one else who is possibley a really great dance or singing teacher / talent teacher . They will tell you whats wrong and you can fix some mistakes and send again :]

i sure he just thinks that you're in a phase, and they're trying to get you out of it. They prob don't want you to feel the hurt of rejection or something. But I'm sure if you have the motivation and potential, you'll make it! ^^ They just want to best for you. And when you do get the offer, i'm sure they'll change their mind. In the mean time, just focus on making your recording perfect ~ ~

i think all parents think that their children are in a 'stage' but you just have to prove them wrong.

most parents want their children to become successful doctors, lawyers etc because they want to best for you, you know?

they just don't know what fits you best.

don't lose hope because of this. this is all part of the process. nothing comes easy, you know?

don't lose it now, just sit tight. have faith.

I talked about it to my parents and truthfully my mom didn't care what I did she just wanted me to become what I want but my dad wants me to go the the university that are like IVY LEAGUE and then if I get acceptance letter he's going to let me try out but that's so far away and I'm going to be so old so I'm just trying out when I go to Korea in the summer when I'm moving onto 10th grade but of course secretly. Whew~! That was one long run-on sentence. Yeah, my mom said that she'll see by how I do and she'll let me train if I make it.

but i need a job first because i know my parents aren't going to pay for me
