Han Ji Min In Talks To Star In New Drama By "Behind Your Touch" Director

Han Ji Min may once again team up with director Kim Suk Yoon!

On May 10, Han Ji Min’s agency BH Entertainment revealed that the actress is positively considering the offer to lead director Kim Suk Yoon’s upcoming project “More Beautiful Than Heaven” (working title).

Han Ji Min and director Kim Suk Yoon have previously collaborated in the 2019 JTBC drama “Radiant” (also known as “The Light in Your Eyes”) and the 2023 drama “Behind Your Touch.” If she accepts the role, this would mark their third collaboration.

As of now, no details about the drama have been disclosed.

Currently, Han Ji Min is gearing up for her new drama “Acquaintances” (working title), where she will star alongside Lee Joon Hyuk.

“Radiant” family Lee Jung Eun and Han Ji Min may be reuniting in a new drama!

On May 14, a media outlet reported that Lee Jung Eun is currently in discussion to star in the new drama “More Beautiful Than Heaven” (working title).

In response to the report, Lee Jung Eun’s agency Will Entertainment shared, “[Lee Jung Eun] received an offer [to star in the drama] and is currently reviewing it.”

“More Beautiful Than Heaven” is a new drama by director Kim Suk Yoon who helmed various hit series including “Radiant” (also known as “The Light in Your Eyes”), “Law School,” and “My Liberation Notes.” Earlier this week, it was reported that Han Ji Min is also in talks to star in the drama.

Lee Jung Eun and Han Ji Min previously worked together in various projects including the director Kim Suk Yoon’s drama “Radiant” as well as “Our Blues,” “Familiar Wife,” and “Yonder.”

If both Han Ji Min and Lee Jung Eun accept their casting offers, “More Beautiful Than Heaven” would mark their third collaboration with director Kim Suk Yoon.

Son Suk Ku may be joining Han Ji Min and Lee Jung Eun in an upcoming drama!

On May 14, a media outlet reported that Son Suk Ku had decided to star in “More Beautiful Than Heaven” (working title), a new drama by “My Liberation Notes” director.

In response to the report, a representative from Son Suk Ku’s agency shared, “Son Suk Ku is positively reviewing [the offer] to star in ‘More Beautiful Than Heaven.’”

“More Beautiful Than Heaven” is a new drama by director Kim Suk Yoon who helmed various hit series including “Radiant” (also known as “The Light in Your Eyes”), “Law School,” and “My Liberation Notes.” Earlier, it was revealed that Han Ji Min and Lee Jung Eun are also in talks to star in the drama.

Furthermore, in a previous interview with Korean media in January, veteran actress Kim Hye Ja, who appeared in “Radiant” and “Our Blues” alongside Han Ji Min and Lee Jung Eun, also confirmed her participation in the upcoming series.

Son Suk Ku, a prominent Korean actor who recently starred in the 2024 drama A Killer Paradox seems to be gearing up for his next big project. The actor is in talks to star in a new K-drama titled More Beautiful Than Heaven (working title). He will be joined by actresses Han Ji Min and Lee Jung Eun, who have also received offers to star in this upcoming drama. 

 

On May 14, exclusive coverage by a Korean outlet reported that Son Suk Ku plans to reunite with director Kim Seok Yoon, who helmed his previous drama My Liberation Notes. A representative from the actor’s agency reportedly said, “It is true that Son Suk Ku has received an offer to star in the new K-drama More Beautiful Than Heaven. He is currently reviewing the role.”

On the other hand, reports also stated that Han Ji Min and Lee Jung Eun, who starred together in the 2019 drama The Light in Your Eyes, are also in talks to join the drama’s cast lineup. 

 

At the same time, it will mark the second collaboration between the actresses and director Kim Seok Yoon, who met them on the set of The Light in Your Eyes.

 

Meanwhile, veteran actress Kim Hye Ja, who played one of the main characters in this drama has already confirmed her appearance in More Beautiful Than Heaven.

In addition, previously the director helmed K-dramas like Behind your Touch (2023), Law School (2021), the Detective K series, and more. Hence, there’s much expectation about his partnership with these talented actors.
