most people would say they don't have a good message since the lyrics seem to be more "whiney" instead of giving advice, but i find it inspiring in that it's reassuring to know i'm not the only one who's going through shiet in life. green day's BoBD means the world to me because it encouraged me to be independent and a non-conformist.
