Haha guys. At this rate, I think many want to revolt at SBS. I imagine all of your reaction are like this:  to SBS.

After the ending: What??!!  ->  Numb and dizzy! ->  Noooooooo my otp/ending, can't accept it.

Different people may be at different stages/states or start at different stages, some may revert back to the previous stages while others may move forward. How fast or slow the recovery depends on the individuals.

HS comes from the future and nowadays, we don't need a doctor to know if the person is pregnant or not.  The woman knows coz their bodies can tell, like not having their period or some indications of early pregnancy. Of course we have to make an assumption that these two love birds were busy doing their job to make it happen.

The only problem is he looks and talks like Ji Mong now. Hae Soo just has to get used to that.

Haha I will assume that Soo knew about the pregnancy herself too, but I need reassurance because I want to believe so badly that she did know and that she decided to leave So for the sake of their baby. That would redeem Soo for me.

Hahahahaahaha!   Exactly!  Good thing they didn't care to elaborate further on those scenes.  They just tickle us a little bit then left everything into our imagination.

In BH and WS ´s last meeting, BH announces to WS, WW ´s death, and adds that "now, no one left to visit, so I leave". I think that BH visits to WW and maybe to WJ(a visit we didn´t witnessed) were made under WS request: WS asked BH to visit everyone was close to HS and  "record" their memories with her in paintings. This is why we have the painting with the WW-HS promenade in the snow, and Lady Hae death. Also the scene with the HS´s comic bow in front of the king.(sole alive witnesses back then in this scene were WW and his mother).  

So, it was WS who wanted to leave  signs for her that he (and not only him but all the persons she loved and cared for)  remembers. The fact, that he  delivers also memories of her time with WW, shows that he holds no grudge, that he understood, and that he respects her memories . (damn, tears comes as i am writting this

@Rose34 I only provide translation of scenes that appear only in the SBS version to @liddi. There was a time when I used to sub on Viki (username semilla), but I don't do that anymore. If that is how the song was translated, I think I'll retranslate it and make a post at some point because to me, that song is the epitome of how much Hae Soo (the way IU interpreted) understood and loved Wang So. Way better than any lines the actual writer of this show wrote.

I also saw an excerpt of an interview with Yoon Sun Woo (Wang Won, 9th prince) that there was a deleted scene of him harrassing Woo Hee and Baek Ah defending her that was cut. He also said that 80% of his lines were ad libbed on the spot. Seriously. The actors made this show way better than it was supposed to be. Korean fans will continue to blame the director and writer for all the shortcomings of this show.

Also, the interview with Ji Soo was edited to leave out him mentioning the part where Soo and So meet in the present time. I wonder what the production companies are thinking. The damage has already been done.

 

@shiraru Funny thing is, Korean fans are somewhat accepting or even happy with the ending, while the general public ("muggles" that don't follow the story too keenly and just watch when it's on) hate it. One of the earlier criticisms of this show was that it features an illicit affair between in-laws, and now the girl marries a full brother of her lover while being pregnant with his child! As most Koreans have been brainwashed with Confucian ideas (thanks to Joseon dynasty, ugh), these are particularly discomforting for many viewers.

After the airing of the final episode for “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo,” Lee Joon Gi sat down to talk about his character.

The actor had an interview with Naver TVcast on November 2, and talked about his character Wang So, saying, “I’ve gained another unforgettable character. While I was acting as Wang So, I had a lot of worries and concerns about making sure that Wang So was different from my previous sageuk roles, but it’s hard to believe that it’s the last episode.”

“While it was really hard, I want to say ‘Thank you’ to the character. I hope he’s happier in his next life, and that he stays happy with Hae Soo for a long, long time,” he continued.

This is in line with my interpretation. They meet in the next life. Wang So will find Hae Soo. And this time round, they will be together forever because both learnt from their past mistakes from the separation and they yearn for each other even after 1000 years has passed. It just means their love crosses time and space and eternal. It is tested thus they will be meet in the next life. I hope this offer some closure and consolation to the fans. 

My love for them goes a long way that I let go of them. The purest form of love is to give without expecting anything in return, so I love them and then let go of them. Omg what I am talking...Does this even make sense? Ugh. I am talking some gibberish meanings.  

Lee Joon Gi is phenomenal in this drama. Wang So is a very difficult character to play, it is so complex. If not properly played, the viewers can easily get confused. I guess I will remember Wang So/Gwangjong for a long time. Though being his fan, I hope he does a happy drama for once. Hahas!

I smiled but I cried, I accepted but I cursed. Oh well....

It's very sweet of LJG to bid farewell to his Wang So, hoping he would be happy with Hae Soo. He must have loved Wang So very much. 

 

I do not want SCH 2. I already gave all my heart to Wang So. *ahem* I mean to this drama, I barely have any piece left.

I want more BTS, editor's cut, director's cut, raw cut, whatever richard simmons cut existing.

truthly that I still not watch ep19 & 20 bcz i can't stand what will happen ... I 've read many comments around many forums. Most of them are disapointed with the ending. Some compare with chinese version & made bad words about Moon Lovers. I wish we have more episode to solve all the misunderstanding. Only 20 eps' too short for this film

@kiinn That crown was hideous and distracting, I remember thinking what's that shiny thing on his head, lucky it was his scene with YH, maybe he was trying to imply that YH is a joke even for him.

Her being from the future gives her an advantage in that area.  Perhaps, she knows that with her heart condition, it is very risky for her to get preggy and it could endanger the baby too.  And if she remains in the palace, the stressful environment, etc there is not good for both her and the baby in her womb since she kept having chest pain.  Perhaps she could have had a miscarriage like in C-version.

This time, she made the right decision for her and the baby.  But she could have at least did it in such a way that GJ will understand.  It seems that GJ is fine to see her with Jung knowing that their marriage was just formality.  If she later on informed him about her being pregnant and why she needed to leave the palace, I think he will understand.  When those vital information were left out or hidden, certainly GJ will think otherwise.  At least He wouldn't be blinded by jealousy. 

I thought GJ heard Jung when he told HS that being out is not good for her baby, but it seems he didn't capture it.  Well, it was their way to follow the C-version, so what can we do?

I always had a sneaking suspicion that Lady Hae's name would be one character (Myung) and not two characters like DramaFever subs. Most names in this show were single characters, including Soo's. Besides, the feminine ending Hee is too modern. And finally, IU's recent IG post confirms it!
