Yewon Talks With Henry's Mom for the First Time on "We Got Married"

Yewon talked with Henry’s mom for the first time since their marriage. On the episode of MBC’s “We Got Married” aired on May 23, Henry and Yewon enjoy a walk in the park. On the way back home, Henry asks Yewon if she would talk to his mom, especially since she had connected the two via phone call while inviting people over to celebrate their new house. Though she is worried about her English skills, she takes the phone. Nervous at her first phone call with her mother-in-law, she tries to keep on a brief conversation. However, she can be seen using body language at the end because she doesn’t understand what Henry’s mom is saying. During an interview with the producers, Yewon says, “Though I had a lot I wanted to say, all that came out of my mouth were exclamations.” During his own interview, Henry says, “I could feel myself sweating. I hoped my mom liked Yewon, and I think she did.” Source (1)
