Recommended Posts

It has been confirmed that Son Dongwoon will be the next member of BEAST to make his solo debut—this time in Japan! On May 22, Cube Entertainment revealed that Dongwoon is preparing to release his first-ever solo album titled “Kimishika” this coming July 1, before officially kicking off solo promotions in Japan. Following fellow group members Yang Yoseob, Yong Junhyung, and Jang Hyunseung, Dongwoon will be the fourth member to take on the solo stage. Dongwoon personally shared the exciting news with fans during BEAST’s fan meeting in Yokohama, Japan on May 20. It is said that the BEAST member took part in writing the Japanese lyrics for a majority of the six tracks included in his album, including the title song “Kimishika.” Even more, producing team Good Life, of which Yong Junhyung is also a part, composed the title track. On May 21, Dongwoon wrote on his personal Twitter account, “I will be releasing my first album in Japan on July 1. I put in a lot of effort and hard work to fill up the album with my stories. I will work even harder to be able to share good music with the Korean fans as well.” Source (1) (2)
