On May 20, CL posted a teaser image on her Twitter account with a message that read, "DOCTOR PEPPER dropping Friday for all you GZBz," mentioning producer Diplo, and rappers Riff Raff and OG Maco. She also mentioned Diplo's independent label Mad Decent in her tweet. The single, "Doctor Pepper," is a Diplo-produced single featuring CL, Riff Raff, and OG Maco*.
