On March 7, 4Minute released a teaser image announcing the comeback date for their fifth mini album, "4Minute World." The simple teaser image has a calendar with March 17 circled in red, along with a bright number 17. The teaser also reads, "4minute World - Grand Opening."

When 4Minute makes their comeback on March 17, it would have been nine months since they last promoted with "What's Your Name." The group is currently working hard in preparation for their comeback, and it is being reported that the members will play a greater role in the production of this mini album. The members have been actively involved with the production, from the very first meetings to the final recordings.
