Sistar’s Hyorin grabs all the headlines on this week’s chart as both of her title songs "One Way Love" and “Lonely” moves into the top 10, with “One Way Love” up 18 spots all the way to No. 1, just edge out last week’s top song 2NE1’s “Missing You.”  Congratulations.

Known as one of the best vocalists among female idol group members, Hyorin recently released her first solo album “Love & Hate.”  Before this release, Hyorin has already participated in many drama OST’s.  Using the slow dance concept that works well for her sub-unit Sistar19 earlier this year, “One Way Love” is about a girl’s thought on the sadness of having a one way love and not getting loved in return.  It also features the much criticized crab dance.  “One Way Love” is written by Brave Brothers and it is the third song of this genre written by the hitmaker this year.  Sistar19’s “Gone Not Around Any Longer” and After School’s “First Love” were also big hits.  “One Way Love” has already won on MBC Music Core last week, M!Countdown, and KBS Music Bank this week.

Hyorin’s other hit “Lonely” moves up 13 spots to No. 8 this week, giving her two top 10 songs.  “Lonely” is a more traditional ballad with guitar and piano arrangement written by hitmaker Kim Do Hoon and lyrics by Min Yeon Jae.  It is about a woman who has been hurt in love many times, but still believe in it.

There are two other new songs in the top 10 this week.  At No. 6, ballad group Noel has the highest debut this week with “Being Forgotten.”  Noel was at the same No. 6 spot two weeks ago with their pre-released single “Street Of The Night.”  “Being Forgotten” is the title song from their second mini-album “Trace.”  It has a piano melody and sad lyrics about being forgotten.  Noel members deliver their powerful vocal to convey the sadness of the song.

Moving up 20 spots to No. 10 is a very special duet by an ex-couple.  Wheesung and Gummy are both top R&B vocalists in Korea.  They have collaborated on stage before but this is the first time they released a single together.  “Special Love” is released as a preview of the singers upcoming winter concert “Do It” in December 31.  This R&B ballad with hip-hop beats showcases both singers’ vocal harmony with a love atmosphere.  It is Wheesung’s first hit song after he finished his military enlistment.
