The May 4th episode of MBC's 'Splendid Politics, it shows the 10th year under the reign of Gwanghae.

Jeongmyeong (Jeong Chan-bi) had been able to escape thanks to Ja-kyung (Gong Myeong), right before she had been to be sold to the entertainment district.

Jeongmyeong grew up and was working in a mine in Japan. The mine was located in the middle of the active volcano area. Despite the extreme environment, she was still tough.

On this day, Lee Yeon-hee made her first presence in the drama. From the first scene of hers, she showed off her tough side escaping from the erupting volcano along with her fellow mine workers.

Joo-won (Yoon Chan-yeong), who had promised to marry Jeongmyeong, appeared as an adult in the show as well. Seo Kang-joon appeared as adult Joo-won.

Huft, finally I watched this drama, at the first time I read the review there are 50 eps and it made me think to watched it.

but when I watched ep 1 until 7, I can't stop to watch. ahahaha..  good drama.

btw guys, I still confuse, what eps last night?

​I think it's because high school drama is more appealing than historical drama to international viewers, moreover Hwajung has so many episodes.
