Big Bang news from YG's message today!!!!

Don't quote me on this, but I'm sort of certain I'm correct. I put parts of BB-related news into babelfish and it came out w/ it.

So from babelfish, I got that Big Bang's Japanese debut single will consist of these songs YG listed.

1. V.I.P. (Intro)

2. BIGBANG

3. La La La

4. 거짓말

5. 일본에서 발표하는 신곡

6. 없는 번호

7. 눈물뿐인 바보

8. Always

And these songs are in the process of being re-recorded in English! OMG I can't wait! Always is love. #5 seems to be the only new song though. But hey I'll be happy to listen to VIP(intro), BIG BANG, La La La, Lie, 없는 번호, A Fool's Only Tear, and Always in English.

Big Bang will promote Lie until the end of October then they'll have a 2 week rest. They'll be back in mid-November w/ the 2nd single off the mini album, I think. It's either a 2nd single from the mini album or a 2nd mini album. 2nd single seems more likely though. I think it'll be the song Always. And a music video will be released. I think it'll be the long awaited Always mv.

And YG talks about the plagiarism issue w/ Lie too.

Also tickets for Big Bang's concerts on December 28th & 29th will go on sale November 3rd.

I'm not sure how accurate the translation is though since I did use babelfish to translate the news.

Not too long ago jiyong visited "freeTempo" during their concert in Korea.

YG is trying to get to the korean entertainment managing "freeTempo"

and have BigBang learn from them...

Today, after the articles went out the entertainment managing "freetempo" contacted YG

they told us "lie" has no problem and is not plagirized. ^^

Also to add another thought,

All the genres of music in this world have uniqueness and the rule of their own...

that's how genres are differenciated.

'lie' is a type of genre that was popular in japan before

even though the melody is totally different, just because the song started off with a piano and how it's "kind of similar"

doesn't been it's plagarized.

Plagiarizing and sampling is a totally different concept

For the last 10 years, YG has been sampling and remaking songs

and we've received approval from original singers when it was necessary.

I can say proudly that we are very strict of plagiarism.

I hope no one misunderstands....

VIP is the word most commonly associated with big bang because of their song & single "big bang is VIP"

it's also the name YG gave to their official fanclub. it's something they say alot, and i like to use it alot cause i think it's cool ^^

here on soompi,, we call ourselves i-vips (i'm sorry, i forgot who made it up ^^ which is just international vip

you can go ahead and abbreviate it BB, it doesn't really matter. sometimes when i'm in a hurry i just type BB

and yes, GD's tattoos are real. he actually got them done in the US by Carey Hart

Good news everyone. All Most of the newspapers are releasing articles saying Big Bang did not plagiarize now that YG cleared it up. They are "officially" clear.

About the plagiarism issue, Jeri7yn made a very good point about this already and most of y'all have, but I thought I’d share my opinion.

I listened to "Sky High" and there are similarities to "Lie". Word is YG Entertainment announced they sampled the song.

To those that don’t know what that means, sampling (music) means taking a portion of a song and you reuse it. Producers/beat makers use loops, phonographs or vinyls to do this like drum intros, guitar riffs and sometimes spoken words/lines from movies. In the case of “Sky High” and “Lie”, this is what you call a ‘break’. A ‘break’ is an instrumental or the interlude of a song. I’m sure that you listen to songs that sounds like you’ve heard it before or you’ve heard it from an old song and that my fellow i-VIPs are what you call sampling.

Plagiarism can happen unconsciously, so if YGE/GD/Big Bang did not acknowledge or wasn’t aware of Free Tempo’s song, it’s a happenstance. ”. If you listen to the drums of “Sky High”, it has a similarity to Dirty Vegas – Days Go By. Even if “Lie” used a sample, I still think that it’s a great song because it was written from the heart and also by GD.

C’mon now, would YG Entertainment risk their good reputation by plagiarizing?!

About the new Mini album i'm a bit wary... lol I know they are very talented and will do a great job and I will support no matter what.. but I have heard some great Korean groups sing in English... and it kills all the sexiness.. to hear a really good song get turned into 3rd grade level English with an accent(I like accents.. most of the time). That being said the boys sounds pretty nice singing in English and if they get popular overseas i might get to see them sooner so.. BIG BANG FIGHTING!!!!!
