Web Drama “Dream Knight” Starring GOT7 Reveals First Teasers



The first teasers for Korea-China co-production drama “Dream Knight” have been unveiled.

On December 23, the first video teaser was released through the drama’s official page on Chinese video sites Youku and Tudou.

The clip starts off with miniature dolls of GOT7 members Jackson, Mark, and Young Jae talking about the drama’s upcoming premiere, while the latter part shows the members themselves wondering about the title of the drama.

The producers also released individual photo teasers for each member through the drama’s official Weibo. The photos show JB, Jackson, Mark, and Young Jae striking cute poses for the camera with their miniature dolls.

“Dream Knight” revolves around a young girl (Song Ha Yoon) suffering from her past experiences until a group of mysterious men suddenly enter her life. The fantasy romance drama touches on dreams, love, and friendship.

The drama will premiere on January 27 through Youku, Tudou, and Naver TV Cast.

GOT7’s Jackson Makes Jung Hyung Don and Defconn Sweat by Making Comments About Being Foreigner
The veteran entertainers MC Jung Hyung Don and Defconn sweat in front of the rising variety star GOT7’s Jackson.

During MBC Every1’s Hitmaker set to air on December 26, producers Jung Hyung Don and Defconn, who are challenging themselves with a global music revolution, decided to test the Big Byung members by giving them a mission to each make a love song on the spot and sing in in a relay style.

Jackson, who was unable to understanding the relatively easy rules, and Jung Hyung Don and Defconn, who explained them kindly at first, exploded on Jackson in the end.

When the MCs continued acting mean, Jackson made a sad face as he said, “You’re going too far with a foreigner!” and the MCs, who were taken off guard, encouraging Jackson and gave him another chance.



Then every time he was called out, Jackson played the ‘foreigner card’ saying “Are you like this because I’m a foreigner?” making Jung Hyung Don and Defconn sweat.

MC Jung Hyung Don and Defconn, who usually deal well with any kind of situation, gave up in the end saying, “I feel so uncomfortable filming because of Wang Kong,” and imitated Jackson by saying, “Are you looking down at us because we’re Koreans?” making everyone burst out laughing.

The tension between Jackson and producers Brave Duble Tigers will be revealed through the December 26 broadcast of MBC Every1’s Hitmaker.

GOT7 members flaunt their friendship with matching 'J.ESTINA' rings
GOT7 members are showing off their loyalty and friendship with matching friendship rings designed by Korean jewelry brand, J.ESTINA.

According to 'J.ESTINA,' the friendship rings are called 'Seven Rings' and the boys of GOT7 are the official endorsement models for the ring set. The specially designed rings can be bought in a set or separately.

GOT7’s Jackson Bawls Upon Seeing His Mother on ‘Roommate’
GOT7’s Jackson expressed his apologetic heart towards his mother on Roommate.

During the December 23 broadcast of SBS’ Roommate 2, GOT7’s Jackson cried upon seeing his mother from Hong Kong in the middle of the Christmas party.

Unable to see her often, Jackson previously grieved upon finding out that his mother is ill. But on this day, Park Jin Young secretly invited Jackson’s parents from Hong Kong.

Jackson’s father said, “Thank you for giving us a special Christmas present. Today is the best Christmas,” and Jackson’s mother touched her son’s face as she said, “You’re working hard in Korea.”

After sobbing for a while, Jackson said in a hoarse voice, “Thank you. This is really like a dream. I never imagined this.”



Park Jin Young confessed, “I knew that Jackson was lonely and was struggling but I felt like he is lonelier and struggling a lot more than I predicted.”

Jackson sang g.o.d’s Love and Memory in front of his parents but couldn’t continue due to his tears. Jackson’s mother also shed tears upon seeing her son.

Jackson said, “I’m sorry to my parents. My mother is sick in Hong Kong but my father is always overseas and I want to do something for her but it wasn’t easy. So I was so sorry,” and shed more tears.

Upon hearing Jackson’s confession, Park Jin Young ended up tearing up in the end too.

GOT7’s Jackson recently expressed his sincere love for his mom through a heartfelt SNS post.

On December 24, Jackson posted a message on his personal Instagram account that reads, “Mom, I’m always, always thinking of you and I love you. Please take care of your health. I believe that if I work hard, everything will work out, so you really don’t have to worry about me too much! I love you mama. Merry Christmas!!!”

The GOT7 member also wrote the message in English: “I will always try and work to my fullest so please don’t worry. Take good care of yourself and i really love you mom. MERRY CHRISTMAS!”

Along with these words, he uploaded a cute photo of himself with his mom, in which he can be seen puckering his lips for a peck on his mom’s cheek. Jackson shared this post following the SBS “Roommate” episode during which he was surprised with a visit from his parents for a heartwarming reunion.

GOT7’s JB, Jr., and Jackson to Host “M!Countdown” Christmas Broadcast + Special Performances
It has been announced that GOT7’s JB, Jr., and Jackson will be standing in as special MCs to host the Christmas broadcast of Mnet’s music program “M! Countdown.”

Not only will the three GOT7 members be hosting the show, they will also join the rest of their group on stage to perform a medley of “Stop Stop It,” “A,” and “Girls Girls Girls.”

The December 25 broadcast of “M! Countdown” is expected showcase a number of exciting stages as a gift to viewers for the holidays.

One of these special stages includes a collaboration between singer Roy Kim and actress Clara. It is said that they are preparing a never-before-seen performance through which they will be showing a brand new transformation.

Clara is scheduled to put on the very first performance of her single titled “Gwiyomi Song 2,” while Roy Kim will also be singing his newly-released Christmas carol “It’s Christmas Day” on today’s broadcast.

Even more, BTS will be performing “Just One Day” and “Hormone War,” while Yoo Seung Woo and Park Bo Ram will showcase a duet of “Way Back Into Love” from the movie “Music and Lyrics” OST.

Other performers in the lineup include Jooyoung, Red Velvet, Boys Republic, BIGFLO, Shannon, Lovelyz, and more.
